We took two friends for a belated birthday dinner (and as the staff realized it was just that, they even rewarded us with a delicious birthday dessert :-). The Ugly: Food portions are small for the prices they give you. $32 for Prawns and you don't get any pasta, rice or anything just 4 prawns dipped in pesto. The wait staff was great but the space is small so yiu have conversations and ppl on top of you when you eat. They could benefit from some house music or something.“

“Stumbled on this place while I was sucked into the reel vortex in the middle of the night on my 11-year Veganversary. The next day, we drove 40+ miles into LA and had the most amazing vegan meal, from appetizers to dessert. They have a full traditional menu as well as a full vegan menu. Welcoming and energetic vibe. Outstanding fun and friendly service (ask for Aria!) Food was highest quality and INSANELY delicious. Even parking is easy in the lot next door. Can’t wait to go back. “Totally unexpected find in generally sleepy Montrose! Delighted we found Backbone after living here for 15 years and missing having an elevated meal close by. We shared one appetizer (corn agnolotti) and two entrees (NY strip and ribeye, tai snapper) and all of the food was delicious. The corn agnolotti was al dente and a mix of sweet (corn) and buttery and lemony (sauce). Both the steak and ribeye were tender and flavorful, and the snapper was moist and served with a delightful charred kale. Ask for bread to sop up the agnolotti sauce! Staff was friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed our meal!“

“Entre Nous never disappoints. Co-owner Mathias is a most gracious host who ensures service is attentive and will help you select the ideal wine to complement your meal. Co-owner & chef JC runs a tight kitchen. Every plate is expertly prepared and arrives at your table as the chef intended.
The menu leans heavily on the owner's French background and is the closest thing to a true French bistro that you'll find in LA. Ingredients are of highest quality. Mussels are plump, beef (bœuf) is nicely marbled and flavorful, and the duck confit equally flavorful without be dry. Frites (fries) are the best I've had outside of Paris. They're perfectly seasoned and will arrive piping hot. Lastly, end your meal with the profiterole. Delicious.
The outdoor patio is cozy and wonderful even on a cool night.

“Once we were seated, I immediately noticed the incredible atmosphere of the restaurant. People were lively, chatting with each other and enjoying a good time. It was a happy sight to see.

The staff were passionate, and it genuinely seemed like they wanted to be there.

We ordered the lamb ragu, squid ink pasta, a side of broccolini, and the veal dish. Originally, we were only going to order the pasta and veal, but we found ourselves craving more food because of how delicious everything was. Not only did it taste amazing, but it also felt homemade, and the ingredients were extremely fresh.

I loved how both pastas had their own unique tomato flavors. The mashed potatoes served with the veal were incredibly creamy without being overwhelmingly buttery. The veal itself was extremely tender.

Loved the food here, 10/10. The portions were generous as well and well worth the price.“

The Neapolitan-style pizzas are one of the best in SoCal. Ingredients offered are cultivated and paired with deliciousness in mind. The fresh ingredients shine quite well. Pastas are also prepared with the same attention to detail and won't disappoint.

Dining is best here, but I wouldn't have delivery if you're not close to any of their locations. Parking for this Silver Lake location is challenging; thus, plan accordingly.

This was my 3rd time and each time just keeps getting better; definitely the bigger the party, the better. We paid $225 for 4 pasta entrees, 3 appetizers, & 2 glasses of wine for a party of 6. I’ve learned to like my pastas al dente after having them here. The meatballs are banging, the wine-pairing was delightful. Our service was attentive and pleasant; the vibe is always vibrant and homey. Highly recommended.“

“We've been attending a handful of concerts at Hollywood Bowl this year. We loved Fattoush Salad (different recipe from how our family makes Fattoush Salad) but was delicious! The Lamb Chops were OK, but Spanish Fried Chicken was just fried, you can't taste or see any chicken meat inside. I have a feeling all vegie dishes here might be delicious, but not the ones with any meat. Service and atmosphere were amazing! We will go back to try different dishes, but for sure to have the Fattoush Salad.“

“I don’t know why it took me 6 years to write this review… but Hermosillo really is hermoso/beautiful. I love this place. I go so often they already know my order before I even say it. That alone says everything. The service is always great, the vibe is perfect, and the food never misses. The ceviche with a golden pils is honestly all you need to be happy once… or 2 or 3 times a week 😂

Only funny thing is when the new bartender asks me for my ID every other day and I’m like “y’all are about 6 years too late asking me now” lol.

I am a wine club member for only about $50 a month and receive two bottles every month of delicious wines I can't buy at the local supermarket; and Haley, the owner, always educates us on the wines. I've earned so much. Also, as a wine club member, we get 10% off anything we purchase including two free tastings each month. It's awesome and Haley is amazing!! She is so knowledgeable and it's like visiting family every time I come here. Love this place! Such a good variety of not only wines, but beer and Sake as well. “LATE REVIEW.

Finding little neighborhood gems when it comes to food has always been an exciting experience for me. Having family alongside makes the journey more special. We chose Holy Saints to announce our baby's gender with our parents and we had an amazing time during our intimate dinner here.

The restaurant's ambiance was the perfect combination of homey and inviting. It is a smaller place and the number of tables are limited so I highly suggest making a reservation when dining here. During our dinner, it was a bit difficult to have a full blown conversation as the place was packed with guests when we came plus the loud background music that was playing the whole night.

Service and food were nothing but amazing! Their menu is very limited. Maybe not everyone will appreciate that, but I think it is more intentional on what is being served to the table. Our highlight of the night was the Grandpa's Pan Roasted Duck Magret Au Poivre for sure. It was so tender on the inside and crispy on the outer edges! We never had a meal like that elsewhere and we will for sure be back just because of it.“
