“Eclectic but elegant setting with an excellent curated wine offering and one of the finest reserve lists anywhere. The charcuterie sections are also first class. A stylish and sophisticated night out.“

“Had to stop by my favorite Italian grubbin in the heart of Old Town Pasadena all the way from Boise. This was my 3rd time and each time just keeps getting better; definitely the bigger the party, the better. We paid $225 for 4 pasta entrees, 3 appetizers, & 2 glasses of wine for a party of 6. I’ve learned to like my pastas al dente after having them here. The meatballs are banging, the wine-pairing was delightful. Our service was attentive and pleasant; the vibe is always vibrant and homey. Highly recommended.“

“How did this quirky gem evade my notice for five years?! I guess because they're only open Friday and Saturday. This may be the best restaurant in Pasadena. Inventive creole-inspired food. Everyone raved. Only thing I would change is to have it a little quieter. But our four-top could still converse well.“

“Terrific staff and innovative cuisine. Small local restaurant who worked hard to keep staff through the pandemic closures with delicious creative take out and who are keeping everyone safe by requiring proof of vaccination for indoor dining. Fresh creative food.“

“LATE REVIEW.
Finding little neighborhood gems when it comes to food has always been an exciting experience for me. Having family alongside makes the journey more special. We chose Holy Saints to announce our baby's gender with our parents and we had an amazing time during our intimate dinner here.
The restaurant's ambiance was the perfect combination of homey and inviting. It is a smaller place and the number of tables are limited so I highly suggest making a reservation when dining here. During our dinner, it was a bit difficult to have a full blown conversation as the place was packed with guests when we came plus the loud background music that was playing the whole night.
Service and food were nothing but amazing! Their menu is very limited. Maybe not everyone will appreciate that, but I think it is more intentional on what is being served to the table. Our highlight of the night was the Grandpa's Pan Roasted Duck Magret Au Poivre for sure. It was so tender on the inside and crispy on the outer edges! We never had a meal like that elsewhere and we will for sure be back just because of it.“

“Republik Coffee is as solid as it gets. It has good food, good coffee, and a good ambiance, which makes it a great hang out spot. The breakfast burrito, an almond danish, and a hazelnut cappuccino. It's not a large breakfast burrito, but I felt like all off the ingredients were good quality. The danish was good, and the cappuccino was solid as well.“

“Tonight was a special celebration for my Brother in law Paul, it's his birthday and the service was great from the start. We were sat right away by Claudia who was very pleasant. Our server was Jorge. Excellent service, very helpful with suggestions, we had the tomahawk, it was so well prepared and cooked to perfection. Appetizers were great, the favorite was the spicy shrimp, flavor was on point. The dessert was delicious. Our party of five was so happy. Shout out to all the staff tonight! Service was wonderful! We will return!“

“Entre Nous never disappoints. Co-owner Mathias is a most gracious host who ensures service is attentive and will help you select the ideal wine to complement your meal. Co-owner & chef JC runs a tight kitchen. Every plate is expertly prepared and arrives at your table as the chef intended.
The menu leans heavily on the owner's French background and is the closest thing to a true French bistro that you'll find in LA. Ingredients are of highest quality. Mussels are plump, beef (bœuf) is nicely marbled and flavorful, and the duck confit equally flavorful without be dry. Frites (fries) are the best I've had outside of Paris. They're perfectly seasoned and will arrive piping hot. Lastly, end your meal with the profiterole. Delicious.
The outdoor patio is cozy and wonderful even on a cool night.
Do yourself a favor and make a reservation today.“
