“A friend recently treated me to dinner here at this family-owned and it was spectacular start to finish. Charming, intimate atmosphere, friendly service and terrific food. I love tapas and don't know of a great tapas place in LA, so this was quite a surprise, especially in the valley.

Highly recommend the hamachi crudo, albondigas and paella, which is one of the best I have eaten.“

“Farmhouse kitchen is the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever had. On top of the food being great and delicious, the presentation makes you want to order everything from the menu. “My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

“The 5 stars is for the service, staff and attentiveness. The environment is also pleasant. That said, the food is very heavy and rich, without notable flavor. We ordered 7 different dishes. The meat and fish quality seemed very good but the preparation and flavors were seriously lacking. It was just really hard to get through the plates with nothing fresh, nothing crisp and no contrast of lightness. There isn’t a single fresh green salad on the menu. Our stomachs simply all hurt for the duration of the evening afterward. Too much oil? I didn’t have an appetite for the next day and felt queasy! Quite odd.“

“Angelini Osteria totally lived up to the hype! We had a great dinner there that night and I can't wait to go back again soon. Let's start with the star of this show: uni pasta. Oh my gosh, it was divine! The uni was so fresh and creamy and the pasta itself was cooked just right. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. We also tried the baked lasagna and it was delightful. The layers were perfectly balanced and each bite was full of rich, savory flavors. Let's not forget dessert! We shared a few different things and they were all great. The tiramisu was fluffy and decadent and the chocolate mousse was rich and smooth. Overall, Angelini Osteria is definitely a must-try for Italian food lovers in Los Angeles. The food is incredible, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We can't wait to come back and try more dishes on the menu!“

We weren't very hungry so we ordered 2 smaller plates. The cheese tart with a raisen jam is really great. So was the Chicken liver mousse. The dessert, Carmel parfait is not recommended. Overall, really nice. We will go back“

“Amazing coffee, decent food, and great atmosphere. Indoor was a bit loud for me, especially when I needed to be on the phone. I loved the outdoor seating, especially with the umbrellas. There are outlets inside but be prepared with a backup battery for your laptop if you want to sit outside (no outlets).“

“After gym and resting in a bit, we headed over to Mignon on 6th Street for dinner. As it was Happy Hour from 4pm to 7pm, we had the red and white house wine each at $5. For $5, the price and quality is really quite good. We also had the ham and brie ($11) and prosciutto and butter ($11) sandwich. Tom enjoyed the prosciutto sandwich which had the fatty bits while Kate enjoyed the brie. We enjoyed the way our sandwiches were prepared – gourmet, with pickles on the side and sweet mustard. “Cute wine bar that functions as a cafe during the day! Was happy to find they have a later happy hour that goes beyond 6 PM, which is so rare to find. I asked an employee and she said there is no happy hour on Sundays. I would just confirm and ask.“

“This was a cozy wine bar right off the metro! A nice happy hour deal that included some draft wines and beer. They also hosted a night of free floral bouquet making. Not sure if it was part of DTLA Art night, but regardless it was fun!

They also had a phenomenal playlist with a good mix of indie music and reggaeton! It was a great vibe overall.

“The Goods: Quaint little spot in the popular part of thr city has a unique night life feel to it. The atmosphere is sexy, the food is delicious and the service is with a smile. The Ugly: Food portions are small for the prices they give you. $32 for Prawns and you don't get any pasta, rice or anything just 4 prawns dipped in pesto. The wait staff was great but the space is small so yiu have conversations and ppl on top of you when you eat. They could benefit from some house music or something.“

“Stumbled on this place while I was sucked into the reel vortex in the middle of the night on my 11-year Veganversary. The next day, we drove 40+ miles into LA and had the most amazing vegan meal, from appetizers to dessert. They have a full traditional menu as well as a full vegan menu. Welcoming and energetic vibe. Outstanding fun and friendly service (ask for Aria!) Food was highest quality and INSANELY delicious. Even parking is easy in the lot next door. Can’t wait to go back. It is a pleasure to support these guys. Highly recommended.“

“It has the rare ability making you feel both out at a restaurant and being invited into someone’s stylish living room for dinner. Records line the shelves, music spins through the space, and every table seems to be having the exact night out they hoped for.

The crispy rice salad starts things off. Each ingredient earns its place with a honey miso dressing that threads it all together. The pizzas are outstanding. They absolutely deserve the spotlight. Thin crust perfection. Crisp edges, restrained cheese, balanced tomato sauce, exactly enough char underneath. Both the classic and pepperoni pies feel disciplined, making it dangerously easy to finish more slices than intended. For the pasta, the rigatoni bolognese brings al dente cooked pasta coated in a layered, rich meat sauce. The ratio of meat to pasta is spot on, making every bite feel substantial without becoming overly dense. Hearty but never excessive. Dessert arrives as a strawberry ricotta cheesecake that somehow feels light. Creamy ricotta filling, fresh strawberries, strawberry sauce. Not too sweet, not too rich.

Companion gets the details right. The room, the music, the pacing, the service, the food. It’s all welcoming and deeply enjoyable.“

“Once we were seated, I immediately noticed the incredible atmosphere of the restaurant. People were lively, chatting with each other and enjoying a good time. It was a happy sight to see.

The staff were passionate, and it genuinely seemed like they wanted to be there.

We ordered the lamb ragu, squid ink pasta, a side of broccolini, and the veal dish. Originally, we were only going to order the pasta and veal, but we found ourselves craving more food because of how delicious everything was. Not only did it taste amazing, but it also felt homemade, and the ingredients were extremely fresh.

I loved how both pastas had their own unique tomato flavors. The mashed potatoes served with the veal were incredibly creamy without being overwhelmingly buttery. The veal itself was extremely tender.

Loved the food here, 10/10. The portions were generous as well and well worth the price.“

We loved everything we ordered, and the Zucchini Beignets were particularly amazing!! You can tell a lot of care goes into both the food and the overall dining experience. “Pizzana is a great example of casual fine dining. Their menu is excellent, and everything is made with a sense of high quality and culinary flair.

The Neapolitan-style pizzas are one of the best in SoCal. Ingredients offered are cultivated and paired with deliciousness in mind. The fresh ingredients shine quite well. Pastas are also prepared with the same attention to detail and won't disappoint.

Dining is best here, but I wouldn't have delivery if you're not close to any of their locations. Parking for this Silver Lake location is challenging; thus, plan accordingly.

Their pricing is fine dining, and it is worth the splurge.“
