“Love Vitellos, feels like an awesome local secret, while being a classic la restaurant at the same time. Great food, amazing staff and fun night out. They always seem to find a way to connect to the neighborhood in new and interesting ways as well.“

“The food and drinks were all great. Though service was kind of subpar. I went on Valentine's Day, and it was not crowded at all. When I was seated for my 7:30 reservation, they seated me at a table that was right next to another couple. Because it wasn't crowded I asked if I could sit at the seat one down. It was a corner seat so I would be able to sit next to my boyfriend, rather than directly across, so I preferred that seat a bit. I was told I couldn't because a 7:30 reservation was already planned to be put there and that if they change that seat, then the entire schematic for seating would be thrown off. I asked if they could just be seated at our seat then, since we both have a 7:30 reservation. I was told no, but offered a seat two over. I took the seat and it was fine. But then no one was ever seated at that table. It was honestly kind of odd and felt like a “power move” on the staff's part. Then at the end of the meal I had to wait about 30 minutes until the waiter finally came back to have us pay. Again, if it was a crowded night I completely understand. But the restaurant was not crowded at all.“

“Farmhouse kitchen is the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever had. On top of the food being great and delicious, the presentation makes you want to order everything from the menu. Chef Bo was so nice to come out to our table and all I can say is she was a very nice, young & talented person. She even made me a special dessert for my birthday. Thanks Bo❤️ I highly recommend this place if you want an authentic, excellent and delicious food. In addition, the place is so full of life. The decor is amazing! I can’t wait to go back and try some of the fancy drinks and dishes on the menu.“

“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

“We had an amazing experience at Good Clean Fun! We reserved the patio for a small work event. The space was so nice. The food was delicious. I loved the pizzas, honestly some of the best I've had. Their wine selection is great, and they make a great Hugo Spritz.
Also, I have to shoutout Hunter! She was an incredible server. She was so kind, attentive, and flexible when our plans changed.
I wish I lived in LA just to be able to come here regularly! I'm looking forward to coming back whenever I visit.“

“Although I was a little put off by the paper plate table settings… this was by far the most delicious food I’ve had… a wildly unexpected treat! Simple yet brilliant flavors using incredible olive oil… it’s my new favorite place! Highly recommended…“

“Since Or Bar opened in the old Gold Coast space, it has become my favorite local place. Good drinks, great people. I love all of the staff here!“
“Came for wine and snacks before a bigger dinner, but I’d love to come back for a full meal because what we had was so good. Highly recommend the Caesar tartare (perfect crunch to the bread, plus it is pre-cut into bite size chunks) and lobster rilette.
Cute vibe inside with center bar and cozy dining room seating.“

“We went on a Wednesday night and every table was full, which should tell you something. Very good service from the host. We did the 4-course pre fixe menu. First course was an outstanding beet salad - one of my faves ever - and a rice noodle dish that was just slightly under-seasoned. Second course was possibly the star, the street corn. The steak was also an absolute star, done perfectly at medium rare. The vodka lumache was, like the rice pasta dish, a bit under-seasoned. Oreo beignets were great, and the chocolate budino was very good, very rich. We'll definitely be back.“

“Thank goodness for Offhand! A much-needed natural wine bar for the west side. While there are always people here, you can always find a spot to sit no problem. They do a great job of rotating and featuring natural wine, most of which are from California/the west coast — through them, I learned that my hometown has a natural winemaker I’d never known about! Definitely order the grilled cheese, it’s simple yet delicious.
( Also since I always check reviews for happy hour info — theirs is from 5-7 Monday through Saturday :) )“

“Overall the food just wasn't very good. The bruschetta was just plain bad. Mushy. The peas were prepared like edamame and did not taste like fresh peas at all. The corn dish was good but not great. My husband likes almost any Brussel sprouts but barely ate these. He had some ribs which he liked and I had some spaghetti which I thought was good but not great. My drink was okay and he liked his beer. Disappointing.“

“I was in Burbank for work recently and I randomly chanced upon this place looking for a little spot to grab a glass of wine and a snack. I’m here to tell you, man, no cap (as the kids say) do not sleep on this place. It’s fantastic. Mouthwatering wine selection, a magical player piano, cocktails for days, delicious nibbles, extremely welcoming bartenders with great stories (I'm looking at you, Jeff!). I feel confident going as far as saying that every time you’re in Burbank and you choose not to stop in for a drink at Wax Poetic...God kills a kitten! Don't be a kitten-killer, go today!! 👀🫣🍷“
“My coworker recommended Augustine to me and I am so happy she did! What a gem! Friendly service, intimate/vibey ambiance, and delicious food! I am sure the wine is wonderful but I didn’t partake in drinking. I look forward to coming back.“

“Bacari Glendale: It is a beautiful place we have always wanted to go to. We took two friends for a belated birthday dinner (and as the staff realized it was just that, they even rewarded us with a delicious birthday dessert :-). Great service, nice ambiance, and delicious food - we had the bread (could have been a bit more for the $4,50), then shared the Mac & Cheese topped up with the pear and brie pizza that was the best.“

“After gym and resting in a bit, we headed over to Mignon on 6th Street for dinner. As it was Happy Hour from 4pm to 7pm, we had the red and white house wine each at $5. For $5, the price and quality is really quite good. We also had the ham and brie ($11) and prosciutto and butter ($11) sandwich. Tom enjoyed the prosciutto sandwich which had the fatty bits while Kate enjoyed the brie. We enjoyed the way our sandwiches were prepared – gourmet, with pickles on the side and sweet mustard. Love the vibes where the staff gave us space, despite being seated “at the bar”...

“A very stylish bar tucked away in downtown LA near Grand Central Market feels like an NYC bar. I had a great chat with the owners—they hand-select everything they serve, from small-batch wines to charcuterie sourced from both local and international makers. It’s a perfect spot for a date or catching up with an old friend. Everyone was super friendly, and the doorman adds a nice touch of safety and comfort.“

“I don't remember what I ordered (there was more than what is pictured) but this was such a great food experience, accompanied with an orange wine. The bar seating is a little tight and awkward but at least the staff was great, food was delivered in a timely matter and it was all so delicious.“
“Highly recommend! The food, wine list, atmosphere, service, music, and lighting are all spot on. The food is so delicious and satisfying and it makes it even better that the ingredients are all top quality so you can feel really good about what you’re eating. Voodoo vin never disappoints and we will keep coming back!“

“One of my favorite date night places with my boyfriend. A good mix of fancy and casual imo. We always try different drinks but our go-to food are Chilli Bear, Home-made Hummus Duo, & Figgin' Burrata.
Everyone here is nice and haven't experienced anything negative. I always look forward to coming back🥰“

“Great atmosphere and wine list. However many of the dishes were a bit over rich/ light on flavor. And look, I know, don’t go to a fancy wine bar expecting value, but the price of many of the simple dishes (salads, simple pastas without meat) were above normal even for LA. Service was friendly but slow“

“This is such an awesome spot to meet friends or work colleagues, and to stock your wine cooler! Be sure to get empanadas and salad from Puerto Rican Eats. The inside is lively, but mid-century modern cool. There’s also patio and sidewalk seating. Hannah and Ariel will help you find what suits your palate (and they also play great tunes). If Doug the owner is in, you’re in for a treat!“

“Angelini Osteria totally lived up to the hype! We had a great dinner there that night and I can't wait to go back again soon. Let's start with the star of this show: uni pasta. Oh my gosh, it was divine! The uni was so fresh and creamy and the pasta itself was cooked just right. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. We also tried the baked lasagna and it was delightful. The layers were perfectly balanced and each bite was full of rich, savory flavors. Let's not forget dessert! We shared a few different things and they were all great. The tiramisu was fluffy and decadent and the chocolate mousse was rich and smooth. Overall, Angelini Osteria is definitely a must-try for Italian food lovers in Los Angeles. The food is incredible, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We can't wait to come back and try more dishes on the menu!“
“We had such a blast tonight at the show! We had great laughs and the show was perfect and full of magic! Fun for all ages! Totally recommend catching a show and a drink! Love love love!!!“
“Three friends and I spent a few lovely hours here this evening. The cheese and salami charcuterie board was especially good. Chill vibe on the patio. Efficient, friendly, knowledgeable service in a nice setting. We'll be back.
It was pretty quiet. They're fairly new and could use more customers. So... go here and help out a unique local business!
Three wines each plus two food boards was $65/person.“

“We've been attending a handful of concerts at Hollywood Bowl this year. We loved Fattoush Salad (different recipe from how our family makes Fattoush Salad) but was delicious! The Lamb Chops were OK, but Spanish Fried Chicken was just fried, you can't taste or see any chicken meat inside. I have a feeling all vegie dishes here might be delicious, but not the ones with any meat. Service and atmosphere were amazing! We will go back to try different dishes, but for sure to have the Fattoush Salad.“

“Highlights: vodka chicken cutlet (very good); dry red wine was very good (forget which one; happy hour price very solid)
Wouldn't get again: Pepperoni pizza (nothing special); focaccia (decent but came out lukewarm / cools off very quickly); cheesecake (too expensive for the size; wish it was served colder)
Too loud at night, kinda have to yell to talk.
Really cool vibe; love that they're playing actual vinyl records.
Really cool Faema E61 espresso machine (didn't try any drinks from it tho).
Service is very good.“
“Ricardo was very attentive and knowledgeable about everything he brought out and even recommended some delicious teas to try out. Surprisingly, we were the only ones there for Hi-Tea, so if you're looking for a quiet, romantic spot to feel fancy, this is the place.“

“Sawa is easily a top-10 restaurant in my opinion. The chef deserves a star. The entire experience went beyond my expectations, truly outstanding. I had so much fun dining there; the environment is friendly, and every bite was delicious. The host was spectacular, especially for suggesting we split the sake pairing, for someone who doesn’t drink much, it was more than enough. I’m already looking forward to coming back.“

“Great food and wines! Excellent atmosphere. Very busy yet excellent service. We sat at the bar and ordered various tapas. The food came out very nicely paced. We did not feel rushed, and despite how busy it was, we did not wait long for the dishes to come out. Our favorite was the jamón board, followed by the steak. Can’t wait to be back and try the rest of the menu!“
