“Must get sushi, but don’t forget the corn tempura and momotaro tomato (seasonal). Awesome sake selection too.”
“The only drawback is that it's a bit loud, other than that, one of our favorite restaurants in los angeles. Unbelievably great food and service. A beautiful atmosphere. Looking forward to our next visit.”
“Had omakase 1 for dinner and each bite of the sushi were so delicious. Every single thing was practically melting in my mouth. No photo was taken as we were so hungry. We will definitely come back again. I highly recommend this place.”

“This place deserves 10 stars I could not take pictures of the food because I inhaled the food. I got 3 shawarma and finished in less than 5 minutes and almost ate my finger with it it was so good. You guys have to go heavy on that yellow sauce have no clue what it is but woowwwww that’s crazy. Also they are very generous on the meat, on top all that firework tasty food. The service is even better, the guys name is Avi and his such a welcoming and genuine. I literally felt like home honestly would have got a 4th shawarma if I had space in the stomach. Overall stop reading this and get over here try it yourself”
“Gisele was really amazing. She was really sweet and very patient and she understood how to teach us about the food for our first time here.
Parking: Awesome”

“Ooh, what a lively place. It is a packed place even on a late Thursday morning, but the food is quite good.
I had the avocado toast with two poached eggs and it was tasty. I added a sprinkle of pepper and it was set to go. Definitely interested in trying the rest of their menu.
Cold brew was also nice although not too memorable.”
“Wow what a gem! I traveled for almost 2 hours there and it was totally worth it. I usually don’t like when it’s dark in restaurants but this one had a very cool atmosphere.”

“Everything here was perfect. The food was delicious (albeit a HUGE pizza that took two sittings to get through)
Alessandra provided fantastic service, she was so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was great, we sat outside on the patio, it was beautifully lit with lovely music playing. Couldn’t fault this restaurant for a single thing, we loved it!”
“Every time I come to Rocco’s I’m met with a smile and a warm greeting, along with great service and comforting drinks/food. I’ve interacted with a few of the team over the time I’ve been here, including Nick, Nate, Bridgette, Manny, George, Cassie and Candace. If you’re fortunate enough to be served by any of these kind souls, consider yourself lucky. Also, the layout of the space is perfect for watching any sports game, date night, or even a solo drink before hitting the next spot. If you haven’t spent time in Rocco’s are you even alive in LA?”
“Definitely a go to place for comfort food! It was my first time to go here with my girlfriends and their happy hour is worth it! Since then I kept coming back or order delivery. My favorite is the gyro combo with some sweet potato waffle fries. Don't forget the garlic aoli sauce (thank me later ;D)”
“I recently visited SunCafe Organic in Los Angeles for breakfast and ordered the French toast with cinnamon apples. The dish was delightful! The French toast was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside—and the cinnamon apples added a warm, comforting touch. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into the food here, and the quality was top-notch.
I arrived right when the cafe opened on a Saturday morning and was the only customer during the first hour. While this made for a quiet and peaceful experience, I was surprised that the service wasn’t more attentive given how slow it was. The server never checked on me after I received my food, which was a bit disappointing. A quick check-in to see if I needed anything would have elevated the experience.
That said, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the menu offers a wide variety of creative, organic options. I’d definitely recommend this spot for anyone seeking delicious plant-based dishes. With just a little improvement in service, this place could easily be a five-star experience!
Vegetarian options: All vegan”
“I stopped in to try the coffee and check out the shop. The coffee itself was good and they had some decent food options. The atmosphere is nice, nothing too over the top. Lot of folks on their laptops, but not overly crowded. The employees were super friendly and courteous.
Overall a good experience.”
“Delicious food-l and cafe nearby from universal studios! The employees were so friendly and kind! Small, but definitely peaceful. The biscuff latte was so good! The tuna toast and avocado toast was also very delicious. When I go back to Universal, I will come back here!”
“I have eaten at Flavor of India several times and did so very recently with a friend. This place has amazing food and service! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Everything is excellent and I strongly recommend them. The atmosphere is great too!”
“Leo is the best chef. So kind, personable, and knows his sushi. He makes just about everything from his ginger to his soy sauce from scratch even though he’ll tell you, “no soy sauce” for most of the sushi that comes as it should be eaten. Best sushi restaurant on Ventura Blvd by far. Make sure to try his dry aged fish!
Parking: There are a few spots behind the restaurant.”

“The Rendition Room is hands down my favorite spot in LA. From the moment you step through the hidden bookshelf door, it’s like you’ve been transported back to the 1930s…intimate, cozy, and just the right amount of mystery. But what really makes this place shine is Richy. He’s not just a bartender; he’s a mixologist in every sense of the word. Every drink he makes feels like it’s been crafted just for you. Beyond that, Richy’s warmth and sincerity are what truly set him apart. You’re not just another customer to him—he makes you feel welcome, like an old friend, every time you stop by. The Rendition Room nails it when it comes to atmosphere, cocktails, and overall vibe. Whether you’re celebrating something big or just want a cool night out, this is the place. It’s a hidden gem that never disappoints.”
“A hidden gem for Thai cuisine on the Blvd, this place is the ultimate go-to spot that most people haven't discovered yet. With a spacious, beautifully designed interior and a serene, quiet ambiance, it offers fine dining at its finest. We visit weekly to satisfy our Thai food cravings. Highly recommended!”
“The moment we walked in, we knew we were in this restaurant for a treat. The atmosphere is stunning and elegant, with just the right amount of charm. Overall, this restaurant checks all the boxes, excellent food, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to linger. Highly recommended!”
“Food and cocktails where very good. Service was fast and the server never let our waters run out.
Happy hour goes till 7pm which is an hour longer than most !
The Atmosphere is nice, looks like a fancy restaurant but is much more hip.
Food/drink quality was great, I had the shrimp pizza which had great flavor and the crust was the perfect texture.”

“Absolutely the best ice cream and service in LA. Every location is consistant and delicious. My only complaint is they discontinued the vegan mint chip!!! Bring it back! Absolutely yummy. And so great to kids. And their sprinkles don’t have the gross dyes in them so I can be fun mom.”
“Hands down my favorite place for Italian food!!! Without mentioning that their tiramisu is the best tiramisu of my life!!!! Highly recommended the tasting menu, includes a starter, 3 different pasta flavors and dessert.
The place is a bit small and dark but it gives me vibes of NYC kitchen/bar, which is cool.”
“Alright, burger aficionados, I've just experienced burger nirvana, and it's called Hi-Ho Burger in Encino. Forget everything you thought you knew about patties and buns, because Hi-Ho is rewriting the burger rulebook.
Let's start with the meat. They use 100% grass-fed Wagyu beef, and you can taste the difference. It's rich, juicy, and melts in your mouth like butter.
This isn't your average ground beef; this is a culinary masterpiece between two buns. Each bite is a symphony of flavor. The best part is the meat is Halal.
They don't overload their burgers with a million toppings. They let the quality of the ingredients shine. It's a classic done to absolute perfection.
The fries? Crispy, golden, and perfectly salted. They're the ideal companion to the burger, and you'll find yourself fighting for the last one. The fries are served in a freaking awesome brown paper bag with holes in the shape of H. A very artistic touch. Picture is included below.
But it's not just the food that makes Hi-Ho so special. It's the atmosphere. It's clean, and inviting. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, clearly passionate about their burgers. And there is a feeling of a place that cares about quality.
This isn't just a burger joint; it's an experience. It's a reminder of what a truly great burger should taste like. It's a testament to the power of simple ingredients done exceptionally well.
If you're looking for the best burger in Encino, scratch that, the best burger period, head to Hi-Ho Burger. You won't be disappointed. In fact, you'll probably be planning your next visit before you've even finished your first bite. Prepare to have your burger expectations shattered and your taste buds forever grateful. Hi-Ho Burger, you've earned a permanent spot in my burger-loving heart!
Dietary restrictions: Meat is Halal. Awesome.
Parking: First 90 mins is free.”
“I love Kreation! And this location is near my place, so naturally my favorite haha. The team is always welcoming, knowledgeable of the menu, and wanting to help in any way. The food and drinks are so healthy yet yummy. If you are looking to cleanse and take the healthier route in life, Kreation is an amazing lifestyle change! Also, they do take some bottle deposits. Thank you Kreation!”

“Mike, the store manager at this location went above and beyond tonight when a rude customer who had not waited more than 2 minutes interrupted out conversation and spoke down to me. The customer was condescending and extremely rude - Mike refused to serve him. Its rare people take chances to stand up for what's right any more and I couldn't appreciate it more. Oh and my coffee was bomb!”

“I cannot believe I have never written about this Ubatuba! I have been coming here for YEARS and I absolutely love it. This location is hands down one of my favorite places in LA. The staff here over the past few years have always been amazing. They always remember who you are and you really feel like family. The sizes of the bowls are great! And you get to choose your own toppings. I come here so often and I just want to say how much I love it here!”
“This was my first visit with Philz coffee. I cannot rave enough about it! Outstanding customer service! I let them know that it was my first visit. How the ordering process worked was explained I selected the Chia Tea, such amazing notes and crafted to my expectations. I was asked to sample the taste before placing my lid. Calm and peaceful ambiance along with a clean well kept store. They also support local artists and I love it!!! Check them out!”
“This is my favorite place for an amazing price chinese food. The people are always so nice and the food is hot and fresh. Today I had the garlic shrimp. Amazing! I plan on trying every item on lunch menu. By the way, did I mention I drive an hour away to eat here? Parking is hard but if you can't find parking in the lot, try the street. Well worth it!”
“Wonderful service and very creative cuisine. The design is superb. Very upscale casual chic. Our server was so attentive and went over the top to take care of us. She did not want us to sit in the sun while we had brunch”

“Hi there, it’s Alfie the mini Dachshund again! ? I recently had brunch at Jax’s Studio City, and let me tell you, the food was almost as good as a nice belly rub!
First up, the Meat Lovers Burrito! Yum, it was packed with all the good stuff—meaty, savory, and filling. I’d give it a solid 8/10. Then came the Classic Egg Sandwich… let’s just say the garlic aioli made it delicious! Every bite had me wagging my tail in excitement.
Now, as much as I liked the food, the service was a bit ruff-ruff ?. It seemed like they might have been short-staffed(and I know short) and oddly enough, they asked everyone to provide a card to eat. Not sure what that was about! But other than that, everything was still pretty pawsome.
So, if you’re in the mood for a tasty breakfast, Jax’s won’t let you down on food, but just be ready for a little wait. ?
Also the price was $100 for 2 so get ready.
Cheers,
Alfie ?
Parking: Parking was difficult to find in the street and metered only.”
“Everything was amazing from the service to the food and sushi and the environment is unassuming and comfortable. Top notch!”
