“I came here after an assistant director told me about it. After Mother's Day I decided it was time for mother's night. I hit up residuals lone wolfing it. I was quick to befriend a comedian who informed me that the White Russian drinks they make are good. Their prices are extremely reasonable compared to most bars in LA. Tip if you have a residual check for under a dollar you get a free drink. Make some friends with old people. I met a variety of different interesting characters. WARNING: This is a bar where people can actually sing during karaoke.“
“Pete's seems to be a very comfortable sports bar. Lots of TV's, Lots of seating, option to open up the front along the sidewalk, actually relatively cheap prices for food and drink, including great Happy hour deals. I haven't tried a lot of the food but tacos were pretty good. We went during the week so not that busy and service was great. The one downfall was parking. Even during the week, after 7, there was no street parking within 2-3 blocks, and advertised Valet was not there ( maybe on weekends?) so take an Uber. A great option to Fox and Hound down the street. Especially if you prefer Mexican over British food.“
“33 Taps is really a sports bar, and I don't drink and I hate sports, but we go there anyway. The burgers, fries and other items are worth it.The place is super cute with tables everywhere, they also have a lot of outdoor tables with shade. We always eat in. It is not as loud as you might think, actually it is pretty quiet. The place is kept very clean and the service is fast and very friendly. There is nothing we don't like about 33 Taps.We have had all their burger types and they can make it the way you want. For me there is nothing worse than a well done burger. Make mine bloody and add the cheese. Their salads and bowls are also great. We love the Caesar grilled chicken breast, avocado, black beans, cilantro rice, peppers & onions, romaine, pico de gallo, pickled onion, parmesan, house made croutons, caesar dressing. The Wedge Cobb is also yummy with Iceberg lettuce, applewood bacon, avocado, hard boiled egg, cherry tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles, pickled onions, and ranch dressing. I don't care for ranch and they are happy to give me the Caesar dressing instead. They also have great nachos. The menu is not huge. It is a bar menu. But it tastes like fine dinning burgers to me and don't forget their fries.“
“I come here after work to have a drink and get the nachos I highly recommend it and Kay the bartender Man she is the sweetest very understandable and very kind When you come Go to her She Will Make your Stay A delightful one I appreciate her recommend her yall“
“Edited for recent visit on 2/7/24:Finally got to try the malai pasta. It did not disappoint in flavor and was fantastic. I think adding some meatballs would further elevate this dish with some protein. Lamb sliders were also super tasty. The pizza was fine but was made better by dipping it in the malai pasta sauce. The staff were gracious and helpful. Significantly improved from my previous visit. Would come back.Malai pasta: 4.5/5Lamb sliders: 4.5Green tikka pizza: 3.5Old review:I’ll admit we didn’t have the pasta. Between the pizza, wings, and something else we had we left feeling pretty underwhelmed. We asked a couple next to us about their wings which were different than ours and their response was a similar “meh”.Indian food and Italian food should be full of flavors, this fusion of flavors seemed to be meant for the palate of someone who had never had any ethnic food. I appreciate the attempt, but I felt it was poorly executed. I might give them a try again as it has been awhile.“
“Found this place by accident because it was the only convenient parking. The lady was so incredibly nice and welcoming. Food came out super fast, and was very fresh. I was also impressed by the incredibly competitive prices. My meal was about $13 for 5 wings and fries. Many places would charge me closer to $20. Honey garlic wings: 10/10 (slight kick, I don't normally like any spice, however I really didn't mind on these, they were very good) Side note: The sauce was just drizzled on, not covering the whole thing. I thought it was perfect, the chicken was great on its own, and it wasn't drowning in sauce. Sometimes places go overkill on the sauce to compensate for mid chicken, not the case here. I don't know how it can get better than this in LA.“
“Went here yesterday for the Oscar’s party and it was such a hoot! I LOVED the puppies they had in front and that they care for rescue dogs, the food was incredible, the Bingo was fun and watching the Oscars on the big screens felt awesome as well! Definitely recommend coming here for events (eg I look forward to watching the World Cup here eventually) but would also come again for their nachos alone lol! Also the heaters were great once the sun went down!“
“I was in town for just 24 hours and heard good things about The Elbow Room, so I decided to give it a try and I was BLOWN away! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by several people and got a table in the back of the bar. The menu was incredible, so I had a hard time trying to figure out what to order so I ordered a little bit of everything. The smoked wings were amazing, as was the pizza, shrimp and filet bites. The owner Lee is a great guy and would love to have you at his bar - you won’t be disappointed, I promise!“
“came for happy hour and Monday Night football - great vibes will come again - ate on the 2nd Floor and they had nba and nfl games on. staff is friendly and washrooms clean. got nachos wings and a burger. and couldn’t go wrong with modelo on tapParking: spots are for multiple businesses in the plaza. just be careful as parking spots are tight“
“I had so much fun watching the 49ers here on Sunday. Such great vibes and I am definitely looking forward to watching the Super Bowl at the oaks. Solid group of San Francisco fans and the game is on a lot of TVs so you can see it all from any seat. Hannah the bartender is rad!“
“Great dining experience! A very good place for lunch, especially at happy hour time. When you can try small portions of the menu, the place is full of good vibes .Definitely recommendParking -3.5/5*Accessibility -5/5*Atmosphere - 5/5*Clean - 4/5*Restrooms - 3.5/5*Service - 3.5/5*Food visually -4.5/5*Food taste -5/5*Food freshness -4/5*Price - 5/5*Total score - 4.3 points out of 5“
“Fantastic addition to our South Park neighborhood. The food is much better than you would expect. I recommend the steak tacos. The staff is amazing as well! Really solid team. They are always so friendly and hospitable - even the security guard is super nice! I love coming here with my little dog. We always have a great time.“
“Great bar, showed all the NBA games plus the tennis. Food was amazing, loads of vegan options and the portions were huge. Definitely recommend the cali wings and vegan fried chicken burger, tasted fresh and delicious.Dietary restrictions: Great vegan options“
“Wow what an amazing brunch experience today! 1) Atmosphere: Nice and chill vibes for a Sunday brunch. 2) Service: Amazing. Our waiter, Steven, took such good care of us! He was super friendly, made great recommendations, and did not let the mimosas run low. (if you show up for Sunday brunch, ask for Steven!) 3) Food: Bottomless mimosas for $24 is a great deal, especially on this side of town. Speciality drinks were good too. I enjoyed my chicken and waffles. They weren't stingy on the chicken like almost ALL the restaurants in LA and the waffle was a nice side and delicious. It was plenty of food for me...we all got to go boxes. I'll definitely be retuning here with a larger group of friends. Highly recommend!“
“If you're looking for a laid-back atmosphere, a variety of beer options, and some good food; I recommend going here. There are a lot of tvs throughout, playing different sport games. You definitely get to see the eclectic nature of the koreatown community. The staff also reflects a relaxed attitude but they're also attentive when it comes to refills or new orders. I'm not a fan of their cocktails, but some food suggestions are their KFC, Kimchi Fried Rice Plate, and their wings! And then most people, I've gone with, enjoy the different beer options.“
“Love Tom Bergins! I have lived in the hood for 20 years and drove by this place many times. but finally wandered in w my boo and have been a regular ever since! I always get the Pilsner , which tastes delish! Their food is awesome too! The shepherds pie, pretzel bites and patty melts are my favorites. They also have specials, last time I got the Filet O Fish sandwich, so good! The atmosphere is very chill, nice neighborhood bar / Irish pub with a very long history. The bartenders are always nice, you have to try this spot. They are only really opened on the weekends so plan accordingly!“
“Please give George - who I renamed GMoney - a raise! In all seriousness, he made me (a California newbie) feel so welcome and happy while I was out here visiting my daughter... beyond words. He was amazing and nothing like the East Coast bartenders I’ve been used to! A wonderful night was had because of him!“
“Sofi Daniela and Helsy are excellent and very friendly, they respectfully serve each of their clients. I recommend coming to this place after a long day of work to relax and have a chat with the girls…Sincerely from your friends at Kalaveras.! ????“
“I attended a private event here and it was amazing. The atmosphere at the bar alone was fresh and lively and the food looked amazing. Unfortunately, I had eaten before attending, but I will go back to try the many delicious appetizers that I saw being brought out. The drinks looked amazing as well. The bartenders were fun and kept the people happy. I am excited to go back!“
“I'm so happy we found this place. Love this style of Mexican restaurants. Staff was so friendly as soon as we arrived, and I loved the look and feel of this classic style that is well kept. We had steak and shrimp fajitas, shrimp mole enchiladas, Fiesta platter and pina coladas, all so delicious! Clean, friendly staff, great service, good prices, and portions. Plenty of parking, would recommend ?!“
“I came to this bar with some friends tonight and had an amazing time. The drinks are fairly priced and the bartenders were super cool. Angel and the taller girl (cant remember her name) were so nice. Angel made me one of the best old fashions ive ever had. I will definitely be back for happy hour..make sure you get Angel she’s thee sweetest most attentive bartender I’ve ever met! Definitely coming back to see her! Amazing service ????“
“Love this place. Great food, great environment.Just watch out at the door and make sure security checks your ID, if not they will resort to being rude and insulting you when you walk in and they were not at the door and tell me that it is his job to check id’s.I will walk away always when someone turns things around to be rude.“
“Love this bar.. It's easy, great selection of liquors and beers on tap, but the best part is the staff.. You get to know them and they get to know you. They're all great!! Chill vibes too, they usually have a good DJ on the weekends too!“
“Love this place! Came here the entire football season and it was such a great vibe for sports. They even have a cute patio area with TVs which I'll be taking advantage of A LOT this summer. Full bar and the food is tasty - great happy hour in general but they also have a great taco Tuesday and $10 pizza Wednesdays. Highly recommend! Shout out to Jordan and Kyla because they're always so kind and take good care of us. :)“
“Super friendly service here! The lady running the bar and register was chatty and fun and friendly. I tried their spicy vegan sausage and I liked that it was something they made in house. They have a few vegan hot dogs and you can choose your toppings. Tasted really good. Also got a yummy pretzel. I really recommend the chipotle aioli. Small parking lot available.“
“Work right across from here so this place is one of my go-tos for lunch. Never actually sat down and ate inside even though the energy is always feels good. I've gotten just fries from this place about 4-5 times. There's a reason i've gotten it 4-5 times. They're crispy, always fresh and well seasoned. They also give you three sauces: spicy mayo, garlic aioli, and honey mustard. All are amazing and my favorite is mixing all the sauces and putting them on top of the fries. I've also orders the mozzarella sticks and the classic burger, no cheese, lettuce tomato and pickles. The mozzarella sticks are big and the cheese stretch is perfect. For the burger I didn't care much for the bun but the taste of the burger was amazing. I always come back and will always come back.“
“OMG - a MUST visit if you have kids. Chuck on the desk was so friendly and explained everything in detail multiple times to the over excited kids. The manager Crystal helped us out to make sure we could take advantage of the offers and our servers went above and beyond to make sure we had every thing we needed and our glasses were always full. Food was delicious and really generous portions. If I could rate higher I would.“
“Always chill, even on occasion people are friendly and talkative. Can play pool or darts or other games. I like the decore, pennies under resin on the oak bar, bathrooms are nice since the refurbishing. Prime Pizza walking distance (a lil far but not bad). Park across the street. Coffee place I haven’t been to a few doors down that closes shortly after this place opens. Lazy Daisy breakfast location right next door. Street parking at meters, or park down in the neighborhood south on the cross streets, not far at all. Sometimes I park and jog at the park then stop here. Also I like the jukebox app they got going. There’s also back alley parking and entrance. They just started offering pretzel, dog, snacks, I used to have to go to grey block pizza, now prime pizza. There are other Mexican, fast food, and 7/11 joints nearer. There’s a Whole Foods less than a block away too.“
“It's one of my favorite stops while visiting friends.Excellent cocktails and fun friendly service.I love that they were playing music via videos on big screens.Riley took care of us, and she was awesome. This will definitely be on my list next time I'm in town.“
“I'm an Irish guy from Glendale and a US veteran to boot, been to a lot of restaurants and bars... this pub is wonderful. Love the food, atmosphere, and people that work there are great peps. The owner is a super friendly guy "Willy" and was always walking around talking to people, like a good business owner will do. No wonder this bar has been and is a staple for Santa Monica. Parking is okay, but it's Santa Monica! Lol Anyways, love this bar! Next time I'll take a picture of the Irish breakfast that I ordered on Saturday 03/16/24. It was GREAT!“
“Went here after work around lunch time - I was the ONLY one here! Nikolani was the bartender at the time, she was super amazing and welcoming. The next time I am in SM I will for sure be back ❤️❤️FYI Come for lunch - u get to play pool for free!“
“Haven't been to Gold Room in years, better than I remember it. Small dive bar off Sunset. Bartender Tony was friendly, attentive and quick to take our drink order. His cocktails were very very well made. He takes his time and you can tell enjoys the craft. Tried the Double Trouble and Pineapple Express. Double Trouble is absolutely delicious - 10/10. Pineapple Express was just as good, but def loaded (has mezcal & tequila). It'll have you feeling good real quick. Drink prices are reasonable priced for LA. Same for their daily happy hour menu. Very solid beer menu too. They have a jukebox you can pay to control the music which is kinda cool. Get to hear a variety of music genres cause of it. Solid bar for a quick beer or cocktail.“
“We came here for my husband‘s birthday . It is so hard to find a restaurant with such great service in Los Angeles. Our server, Jose Peralta was absolutely incredible!!! He was patient while explaining the menu to us , kind while he consistently checking on us, and incredibly hospitable. He made our whole experience amazing!!!What a great experience!! Thank you !! We will definitely be back! ?“
“Great little sports bar on sunset blvd with great cocktails and a solid draft beer list. Make sure to book a reservation on weekends because this place gets busy! They have several TVs throughout the bar so every seat in the house is good. Best of all they have plenty of vegan options which is rare for a sports bar! The vegan tacos are amazing. It's also dog friendly. I'm a big fan.“
“This place is an absolute hidden gem. The service and vibe is great. What more can you ask for amazing TV’s service and drinks. The food is quality better than any bar around. It’s more of a complete restaurant and bar! High quality drinks and food. Music is on point. This place should be packed every night and it’s not. I’m giving away the sauce. Araik always takes care of us and knows what I’m drinking and remembers what I like. He goes out of his way to ask how I am. His service is on point and he knows how to make a great old fashioned!Come to this place you will not be disappointed.“

“I like the vibe of this place but I was going back and forth between 3 and 4 stars. The prices are high. This is a dive bar but the prices do not reflect that. That's my biggest complaint. Our server was super sweet, albeit sometimes hard to find. Who knows how many servers were on the clock or how big their sections were, so I'm not holding it against her. Her personality honestly made up for it anyway. The wings are fantastic. The rest of the food was just fine. There is a parking lot, which is great, but does fill up quickly on a busy night. Do make sure to get a pass from the bartender/server.“
“Came for a happy hour. They have some cocktails on happy hour menu. Can order from bar and there is table service. Food is good for bar food: we shared fries tenders pizza and nachos. The ambiance is dark and comfortable with soft lighting and plush seating available. It can get loud with games. Parking is available in a paid lot but the machines weren't working the day I was there. Street parking is also available (read the signs) and there's also metered street parking.“
“A Midwest Oasis in Santa MonicaI recently visited Mom's Bar in Santa Monica on a Tuesday night with friends, and I must say, it was an unexpected gem that transported us to the heart of a small town in the Midwest. The atmosphere exuded warmth and familiarity, making it an ideal spot for a casual evening out.Upon entering, we were greeted by the friendly bartender, whose knowledge and expertise added an extra layer of charm to our experience. The drink prices were surprisingly affordable, especially for Santa Monica, making it a budget-friendly option without compromising on quality. One of the highlights of Mom's Bar is the inviting outside patio area in the back. It provided a cozy setting, perfect for sipping drinks and engaging in conversation amidst the fresh air. The ambiance felt like a welcome departure from the typical Santa Monica scene, offering a tranquil escape right in the heart of the city. For those seeking a bit of friendly competition, the front lounge boasted a pingpong table, adding an element of fun to the evening. It created a lively and interactive atmosphere, making Mom's Bar more than just a place to enjoy drinks—it's a destination for entertainment and socializing. The overall vibe of Mom's Bar is a testament to its commitment to creating a unique and enjoyable experience for its patrons. Whether you're looking for a relaxing evening on the patio or a bit of friendly competition over a game of pingpong, Mom's Bar in Santa Monica has you covered. It's a breath of fresh air in the bustling city, offering a taste of small-town charm that will leave you coming back for more.“
“Driven past this spot for years. So I decided to take the plunge, so to speak and have a go at it. I tried their fish and chips, and they were amazing. The portions were awesome and well priced. The service was fast and friendly. It was pretty busy, but my food was out pretty quick. The peri peri sauce was a new find for me and I'll get that in the future. Their menu is wide ranging, and the beer and drink menu looks quite extensive as well. Also, the bar itself is pretty cool, and lots of rugby memorabilia there too. Pretty cool crowd. Thanks Springbok! I will be back.“
“Came here for happy hour on a weeknight. Decently busy but there were a few open tables in the bar area. The bar area is pretty small but can’t beat the happy hour. For the price, the food is a great value as well as the drinks. My only complaint is that the music is way too loud for the size of the space. Or am I just getting old?“
“Islands is a classic family favorite. I miss the giant birds that they had at the old location back in the day, however the modern day Islands is fresh take on the beachy island vibe of yesteryear. They have a spacious outdoor patio, bar space and plenty of booths inside. The menu has changed quite a bit over time (they have a burrito on the menu now?), but they are typically known for their burgers and fries. Their fries are so good and they always come in a large portion. I can never get enough! I ordered the big wave and the kid's burger for my son. For your burger you have a choice of bun (wheat or white) or you can do it lettuce wrapped. I thought the kids menu had a lot of great options for littles. My son really liked his side of pineapple! However his burger was SO salty. It was saltier than my big wave burger was, so not sure if this was a fluke or the kids burgers are just saltier. Didn't love it. I enjoyed my big wave. It's exactly what you would expect and the veggies on it tasted crisp and fresh. Service was great too! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Overall the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere is enjoyable. I come here more for the nostalgia of it but I do crave their fries often!“
“Awesome place to hang out with the homies. Get a beer... great selection, by the way and play some billiards. Done skimp on the food. I was skeptical about the food it was my 5th time coming before I tried it. And it's all really good and not average.Hot Dog with everything good quality hot dog and a nice tasted sesame bunSausage plater 3 different types-cheese-spicy-savoryAll tasted really good and the most filling thing to eatSalted Pretzel fluffy soft and tasty little on the salty side for me but definitely good and if combo with the Sausage plater knockout“
“Pleasant atmosphere, attentive service. The prices are right. The food is delicious.Very discounted food and drinks are available during Happy Hours. The hot bread and butter served as an appetizer is wonderful.Be sure to stop by if you're in the area“
“For a sports pub the food and service on point. Bartenders and servers are super attentive and deserve their tips. Cook hasn't let me down yet. Plenty of space to hang out after a game during the week of you are looking to hang with some teammates after a weeknight game. Give it a try and let me know your experience.“
“Super easy. Super casual. Not a fancy wine bar at all. But, they offer many different beers, wine and and a casual bar. My only complaint is that the SPARKLING ROSE COMES IN A CAN. the menu needs to say "in a can". I wouldn't have have ordered it had I known. Anyway, get pizza or falafel or a whatever food you want and sit at the casual bar and enjoy! Fun“
“This Billiards center has become a frequent pass time for me and my friends to go play some pool and have fun. The staff and owner are very friendly and ready to help everyone in any way they can. The vibes inside are very nice and relaxed and they have a-lot of cool snacks and drinks to choose from if you wanna eat and shoot some pool. If you find yourself just wanting something fun to do in the Glendale/Los Angeles area I strongly recommend Green Room.“
“We had a blast! Sherman Oaks-EncinoChamber of Commerce hosted a networking mixer event here. The owner presented us with some history and lite bites. I will definitely return to support and have a great time. This was our second time going on Tuesday’s Open Mic Night! The artists are talented. We’ve been highly pleased with the staff service, atmosphere, and characters. We are delighted to add The Barrel to our normal routine.“
“I come here all the time and pretty much have no complaints. The servers are so friendly, lots of good food options (I routinely get the burger & sweet potato fries), sauces, and they make excellent drinks. It can be a little loud sometimes but they have a cute little patio seating situation that is great for people watching (and heaters of course)“
“This has been a favorite of mine for over 15 years. The pepperoni pizza is the BEST pizza in town. 2 for 1 Happy Hour is great. If you like sports they have every game playing on so many TVs! Great bartenders and servers. It's an awesome place !“
