The only drawback is the food menu is really hard to navigate if you have allergies or dietary restrictions.“

“The Palm and the Pine is one of my favorite bars in Los Angeles. From the moment I first walked in I was welcomed with open arms. EVERYONE is so friendly and the vibe is always great. “I had an event hosted with 33 taps for an employee resource group “pride happy hour” for my company, and worked with Libney & Zach as the points of contact and a server named Alex who were all so accommodating and sweet.

The food and drinks were amazing! World Cup was playing in the ackgeound sinve it’s a sports bar. I highly recommend the salmon bowl if you’re coming by yourself or the tacos and quesadillas for group gatherings.

“I was looking for a sports bar to watch the fifa game. This is my first time here and I literally took one bite of the gunpowder fries and buffalo chicken strips and was like I need to do a review stat! The ranch and blue cheese are phenomenal and I found out house made. You can choose how you want your strips and I chose to have them tossed in the buffalo which tastes amazingly. I think the other extremely important part of this is how wonderful the staff/team is here! Ash and Bear really care and go above and beyond which is rare nowadays. I will definitely make this my sports bar and bring more people here to enjoy the great food and experience!“

“Hidden gem type of spot that reminds you why local food joints still matter. What started as a stop for a chicken burger quickly turned into one of the more memorable comfort food experiences I’ve had in Hollywood.

The balance between a classic burger spot and a full Korean kitchen is executed incredibly well. You can tell this isn’t a place trying to force two concepts together. Everything on the menu feels intentional and well thought out. The chicken was perfectly cooked with great texture and flavor, while the Korean dishes carried that authentic homemade quality that’s hard to fake.

The atmosphere has that hometown neighborhood feel where the staff genuinely make you feel welcomed the second you walk in. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and everyone behind the counter seemed to actually care about the experience they were providing.

Another standout was the drink selection. Plenty of beers on tap along with a solid variety of drinks that pair perfectly with the food whether you’re stopping in casually or hanging out for a while.

What impressed me most was the consistency across the board. A lot of places do one thing well and everything else feels secondary. Here, the food, service, atmosphere, and menu variety all carried equal weight.

If you’re anywhere near Hollywood and want something that feels both elevated and genuinely local, this spot is absolutely worth the visit.“

“This is one of the best spots in Atwater Village. The owner is so welcoming. Service is top notch. The food is great! “This place really has its own atmosphere. The overall vibe is great, the alcohol selection is solid, and the bartenders are friendly and welcoming. What I liked most is that the place feels relaxed and comfortable. It does not have that aggressive energy some bars have, and it definitely does not feel like the kind of place where people are looking for trouble. The atmosphere inside feels warm and friendly.

The main downside for me was the music. It would be much better if the DJ played something that matched the actual mood of the place. When there are only two or three tables occupied, the music is still blasting as if the place is packed and everyone is waiting for a huge drop. That feels a bit out of sync with the otherwise chill and enjoyable atmosphere.

Overall, it is a nice place with a lot going for it, but the music choice and volume could really make the experience much better.“
