“The Palm and the Pine is one of my favorite bars in Los Angeles. From the moment I first walked in I was welcomed with open arms. EVERYONE is so friendly and the vibe is always great. And they have a great happy hour that lasts until 8pm. I love all the bartenders but my favorites are Ben and Jose. They are always SO incredibly attentive, gracious and full of personality. The type of bartenders that give you a glass of water even when you didn’t ask. This is definitely my “Cheers” bar here in Hollywood. And when there are big games on it’s ALWAYS a great time!“

““I had a really upsetting experience at GYM BAR. After having just a couple drinks, I was told I couldn’t be served any more because of my skin color. This is my first time here and I literally took one bite of the gunpowder fries and buffalo chicken strips and was like I need to do a review stat! The ranch and blue cheese are phenomenal and I found out house made. You can choose how you want your strips and I chose to have them tossed in the buffalo which tastes amazingly. I think the other extremely important part of this is how wonderful the staff/team is here! Ash and Bear really care and go above and beyond which is rare nowadays. “Great place to come for happy hour and the 2 for $25 deal. We ordered appetizer buffalo wings, grilled chicken salad and whiskey burger + $3 with crispy fries. Everything was delicious. Good portion sizes, good value overallI. I came here to this location back in 2021 and have to say the food quality has improved quite a bit. Sadly, It’s the last Applebee’s in the valley, as they closed the other locations in Porter Ranch and near Warner center. Yes, Definitely give this place a try. The place was pretty busy on happy hour 3-6pm everyday. The staff and waiter were also very nice and receptive. We will definitely make another visit in the future.“

“Chela’s Cantina is an awesome spot to kick back, have fun, and enjoy a great night out. Thursday karaoke nights are definitely my favorite — great energy, good crowd, and always a fun atmosphere.

The ceviche is absolutely amazing, the drinks are on point, and the bartenders… well, you’ll just have to come see for yourself. 😄

“I stopped here to watch the Dodgers World Series game 1. This is the local dive bar, the crowd was loud but the Dodgers had a walkoff home run so I was expecting some noise. Pool table was old school, only a quarter to play with a chalkboard of who’s next. I had a fun evening and the lady behind the bar bought me a beer, how often does that ever happen. A five star evening for me!“

Parking: the restaurant has ample parking since it’s in a large shopping area, anchored by CVS.
