Favorite bar in DTLA. Ignore the negative reviews, this place is exactly what it appears to be, a local whiskey bar. The best local find, I promise you! Just don't be a shitty person? Ambiance is exactly what you're looking for in an Irish pub downtown.
I was here with a large group for dinner and drinks. Firstly it is incredibly loud inside. The food was very expensive for the portion size. The cost of drinks is also fairly expensive. The only upside was the service was fairly quick to continue getting drinks.

Dublin's is a perfect place to go on a first date! The atmosphere is so cozy, the lighting is on the dim side, and there's a wide variety of beer of tap. They were actually out of the beer I wanted, and the waitress recommended one that I ended up loving. Great service, atmosphere, and cozy tables/booths!
