“The Palm and the Pine is one of my favorite bars in Los Angeles. From the moment I first walked in I was welcomed with open arms. EVERYONE is so friendly and the vibe is always great. And they have a great happy hour that lasts until 8pm. I love all the bartenders but my favorites are Ben and Jose. They are always SO incredibly attentive, gracious and full of personality. The type of bartenders that give you a glass of water even when you didn’t ask. This is definitely my “Cheers” bar here in Hollywood. And when there are big games on it’s ALWAYS a great time!“

“I had an event hosted with 33 taps for an employee resource group “pride happy hour” for my company, and worked with Libney & Zach as the points of contact and a server named Alex who were all so accommodating and sweet.

The food and drinks were amazing! World Cup was playing in the ackgeound sinve it’s a sports bar. I highly recommend the salmon bowl if you’re coming by yourself or the tacos and quesadillas for group gatherings.

I ordered a Coca-Cola, which was served promptly with a healthy dose of ice, just the way I like it. But the real standout was the Fried Chicken Sandwich - it was cooked to perfection, with crispy skin and tender meat, and the flavors were out of this world. ““I had a really upsetting experience at GYM BAR. After having just a couple drinks, I was told I couldn’t be served any more because of my skin color. I was sober, and I went to another bar right after, and everything was completely fine. I’ve never felt so singled out or discriminated against, and it really ruined my night. I won’t be returning“

The balance between a classic burger spot and a full Korean kitchen is executed incredibly well. You can tell this isn’t a place trying to force two concepts together. Everything on the menu feels intentional and well thought out. The chicken was perfectly cooked with great texture and flavor, while the Korean dishes carried that authentic homemade quality that’s hard to fake.

The atmosphere has that hometown neighborhood feel where the staff genuinely make you feel welcomed the second you walk in. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and everyone behind the counter seemed to actually care about the experience they were providing.

“I was looking for a sports bar to watch the fifa game. This is my first time here and I literally took one bite of the gunpowder fries and buffalo chicken strips and was like I need to do a review stat! The ranch and blue cheese are phenomenal and I found out house made. You can choose how you want your strips and I chose to have them tossed in the buffalo which tastes amazingly. I think the other extremely important part of this is how wonderful the staff/team is here! Ash and Bear really care and go above and beyond which is rare nowadays. I will definitely make this my sports bar and bring more people here to enjoy the great food and experience!“
