“We had an AMAZING time. The food was flavorful and delicious. The service was hospitable. The ambiance was EVERYTHING! We could hardly finish our food as we were busy singing throwback jams from the 90's and 2000's. I had the garlic noodles and lemon garlic salmon. I was DELICIOUS and so filling. My husband ordered the rice and catfish. It came with black beans and plantains. Yummy! We had watermelon lemonade and Mexican bottled Sprite. We can't wait to visit again!!!”

“FINALLY went to check this place out. Went right when they opened last Friday and there were already customers seated inside. The backyard area where they have their tables is bigger than I expected. Ordered their ceviche and tacos (gobernador and echilosos) which was pretty great, fresh and tasty. Parking can be hard because it's a neigborgood but we got lucky we found one couple houses down. I think you should defintiely come visit right when they open at 11am. They do zelle and cash as forms of payment.”

Three Weavers Brewing Company 1031 W Manchester Blvd A-B, Inglewood Brewery • $$
1031 W Manchester Blvd A-B, Inglewood

“In 2024 I decided to be better about supporting local businesses in my neighborhood. I was finally able to check out Three Weavers brewing & I'm glad more breweries are popping up in this area. They have a private lot which is always a plus. They have various food options depending on the day which seems to change weekly. The day I was there, they had an Korean taco style food truck. Seating was plentiful outside and a good amount inside. They had umbrellas but no heat lamp. The beers that I tried were all good. Service was ok, I think it could be improved as most of the breweries I've gone to in LA usually had above average service. I've become quite particular about service being a huge factor when it comes to repeat visits. Food/drinks have gotten so expensive in general, I want above par, extra friendly service. But overall it's a great place to grab a beer.”

NAYS TACOS RESTAURANT 307 E Hillcrest Blvd, Inglewood Mexican • $$
307 E Hillcrest Blvd, Inglewood

“My friend swore by the extra crispy tacos at this place--so you know I had to check it out. Ok so after reading the reviews, I didn't want to get the extra crispy because there were complaints about it not having enough filling. The cashier/waitress sort of confirmed this, indicating that there is more filling in the hard shell because there's more space to add more since it's not fried shut. So I ordered two salmon hard shell and one shrimp hard shell. The tacos were good, but not excellent. The shells weren't hard by any standards lol but they were bad. I didn't get sour cream or cheese, and they definitely needed some sauce. So I put that red salsa they have on it and it was so much better. Before the salsa, the tacos were a 7 out of 10 but after the salsa they were an 8.5. Next time, I'm DEFINITELY trying the extra crispy ones. I told my friend what happened and she doubled down on the crispy ones lol so I'll be back. The tortilla chips are fried on site--excellent. The green salsa needed some salt and cumin. Maybe some oregano too. The red salsa was fire--don't forget to ask for it!My belief is that a taco should be able to stand on its own without sauce. This means the filling has to be on point. If I could improve the shrimp and salmon tacos, I would add some smoked paprika to the seasoning on the shrimp ones and cook the a little longer. Also, I would cut the shrimp up instead of putting whole shrimp--it makes the tacos easier to eat. For the salmon, I would add a bit of spice, like cayenne, some garlic salt and add some cilantro to those tacos. The fries were real potatoes, but not crispy enough for me. Bae loved them so it's most likely just me.I wanted a salad, but apparently the dressing had pineapple in it--wth. If the changes above are made, I think this place could really hit. Also, add more vegan sauce options. Vegans like sauce too lol like vegan sour cream and vegan cheese. This only really matters if your vegan customer base supports this. The way Inglewood is headed though, might wanna make that change lol Lastly, the vibe is super cute. It's small but nice and homey. Loved it. Parking was easy on the street.”

“The food was awesome. I had enchiladas, tamale, and a beef taco. Their food is authentic. The ambiance was very fun, including attentive servers. I felt like I was in Puerto Vallarta! Just one so so comment: the Cadillac margaritas were watered down and not very good. Other than that, I highly recommend this place. Great for families.”
