“Truly one of the best Indian restaurants we have ever been to - and we used to live in the Bay Area and at Indian food constantly. The ingredients are so fresh & every recipe is just delicious!”
“They're not the best ever, but in the desolate wasteland that is my neighborhood's pizza scene, they are more than good enough. Glad they exist. They really lay on the toppings thick which is nice.”
“Picked up dinner to go - lobster ravioli. I wished we could have dined in the restaurant because it just smells like heaven. A cute little restaurant with great service and yummy food! I could taste real lobster in the ravioli and the sauce was delicious! Highly recommend!”
“I go here to buy coffee beans and have their espresso every time I go. The beans are very good except their decaf beans which I didn't like all that much. They serve espresso with sparkling water and a piece of chocolate which makes my day. However I have also been to the Culver City branch and I felt that one is just better when it comes to espresso.”
“My wife and I had dinner recently at Alejo's and enjoyed very thing about it. The staff was professional and accommodating, and ambiance was easy going. The fresh bread with garlic butter hit the spot, the Caesar salad was to die for(great dressing and anchovies). We ordered the eggplant parmigiana to share, I could not consider eating it alone. All n all a nice dinner at a nice price.”
“Always a good meal. My husband and I order here a few times a month, and this is our local shop. Had a slight issue with the 3rd party delivery and the acting manager was so quick to resolve my issue. Even though he had no reason to, because it was the driver and not his store, he apologized profusely and fixed my issue within minutes. It's nice to find a place that really cares about customers. Thanks Shareef (sorry if that's misspelled), the acting manager for all your help and thanks to Jersey Mike's for helping me have a piece of Jersey here on the West Coast”
“Pastrami cheese steak was fantastic. They were understaffed and I watched two customers leave before ordering due to the wait. The employees were doing their best. A bit on the pricey side for a 6" sandwich.”
“The staff were really nice, the place was nice, clean and organized. Best customer service. The reason why I give the food a 4 star was becuase the wings were not that great.”
“I get the Hawaiian pizza here. It's delicious. The owner seemed kind to his staff when I heard him talking to them about closing up at the end of the day. I get people thinking he's rude, but I think he's just straight forward. I don't know when people decided customer service means someone should go overboard with fake hospitality.Great tasting ingredients though. Real cheese makes the difference. I wish they had calzones. That's my only complaint.”
“You can get a full plate with an entree and sides that will fill you up. They have multiple great options depending on if you like beef or chicken. I really enjoyed the not so fried rice and tilapia but they discontinued both. The spring rolls are FANTASTIC. The wings are really TASTY. The GYOZA's are soooo good. They are high quality like at a fine oriental restaurant. No kidding... they are that good. Dining room is OK. Prices are reasonable. Staff efficient and quick service!”
“You absolutely have to dine here! Everything from the food, to the service, to the wine/cocktails and ambiance was absolutely incredible. My significant other doesn’t eat raw fish and I forgot to mention it when booking, but the staff asked at the start of the meal and they were happy to accommodate the preference despite it being last minute. The somm absolutely nailed the pairing the night I was there. My group loved every single pour so much that we asked for a detailed list of the tasting. Overall, everything was fantastic and I quite enjoyed the perfect balance between friendly and professional when it came to the service.Thank you for an incredible night!”
“Yes!!! Welcome finally the Dutch crunch bread and all the great choices to along with it!!! Great sandwiches, hefty from X to XXL. Visit this place and treat yourself to a great sandwich!!!”
“Lovely spot with incredible atmosphere and food. The food was presented nicely and tasted even better. Would highly recommend the scallop/uni course and the skewers! the beef tongue was our favourite. As for the bone marrow, it was a little shallow and the miso overpowered it.Overall, I’d highly recommend n/soto to anyone looking for Japanese food around the area. Would definitely come again.”
“We had dinner and drinks. It was excellent. We celebrated two birthdays. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and attentive. Looking forward to returning.”
“Very elegant and peaceful atmosphere with a very personalable staff. Took a few minutes of standing around to find the right door, but then we were set for the evening meal.I've never had fish that tasted so fresh. Sea urchin may not be my jam, but the rest was insanely good.”
“A friend recommended Beverly Bar and I was impressed with the food, service and decor. The tuna crispy rice was among the best I’ve had, the fries were 10/10, and the steak sandwich was just okay, but my friend loved it. The server was so kind and friendly. Lastly, the ambiance (and bathroom cleanliness) were great. I’d def return and recommend!”
“Barbara and Jofre gave us amazing service! Jofre especially went above and beyond gave us a list of places to check out In LA. We are visiting from Vancouver, don't know much about the area and he gave us a break down of what to check out and things to do. Will def come back, make this guy a manager ”
“Wonderful ambience and great food and service in a unique setting. Our server Karen suggested some dishes we shared included a great fried artichoke salad and the mixed lettuce salad was dressed to perfection. The fettucine dish with beef and pork was prepared with a lovely bolognese sauce and great pasta. Also highly recommend the stemple creek ranch steak which was cooked to perfection and enjoyed the sides of onion rings and potatoes. The drink menu is inventive and highly recommend the gimlet.”
“The food is good we went for dinner last night and the place is decent clean. They have a good menu on the back .For appetizers we ordered a side of mojito Just experienced the best most authentic, delicious food of my life.highly recommended this place.”
“The tacos de tripa where cooked perfect and they stuff the tacos with alot of meat, the alpastor tacos where Excellent moist and tender, they also have good salsas..”
“Very interesting location being in KTown in a small strip mall (with parking!) and a block away from some hip bars like Lock & Key. There is also metered parking across the street but if you come late enough, it should be free. We came not knowing it was a vegetarian restaurant (our bad) but that didn't matter. The food was delicious nonetheless. Walking in, it feels boho chic with some sculptures and paintings of ancient beings (?). Menu is on the QR code where you can order and pay through your phone but the servers are there to help if anything.Squash Blossoms: Lightly battered, filled with ricotta, and fried with a pumpkin seed sauce that reminded me of satay sauce. The combo of cheese and sauce was a great contrasts. Comes with only 3 blossoms so kind of pricey for what it is but deliciousRoasted Cauliflower: Solid but I really like roasted cauliflower. Good portion and good proportion of cauliflower to sauceSpouting Brassica: Tangy and reminded me of the sweet chili thai sauce that you can get from the market. Fennel is not something I generally look to order but it didn't taste licorice-y maybe masked by the sauce.Jackfruit Barbacoa Fusili: The fusili was al dente, which is always great. Jackfruit felt like it was missing or lack the punch I usually associate with jackfruit. It's a solid dish though with the tomato and cheese sauce.Anderson Pizza: A bit too many conflicting flavors. Jalapeno + kimchee didn't seem to work for me. Pizza crust was good though but too many things going on and would've preferred a lighter pizza focusing on one flavor. They also specialize in wines. I got a cab but it was very light without much tannins, which was interesting. Tasty but unexpected.Overall, a solid meal with some hits, good and friendly service, and a cool vibe for a easy meal.”
“It's a tragedy that Manzke is closing at the end of February. A restaurant this good shouldn't have to close. Everything is fantastic. The food is rich in flavor with a cocktail and wine list as close to perfection as possible. I'd encourage anyone who loves fine dining to enjoy Manzke while you can. Oh, and the butter is heavenly...”
“This place totally lives up to its hype and is 100% deserving of the Michelin Bib Gourmand award. I would highly recommend one of the chef’s tasting menus to let the chef take your taste buds on a gastronomic journey bursting with flavor at every twist and turn. Each dish is truly a unique delight and will wow your senses. I would highly recommend the Beef Rendang, the butter chicken, the green papaya salad, and the dry aged branzino. You have to order the roti too of course! The atmosphere feels like your rich grandmothers living room with pink wallpaper and vintage- looking wood tables. They also serve the dishes on mix and matched antique porcelain plates with unique designs, which adds to the vibe. You have to make a reservation here in advance, unless you’re cool sitting outside at a high top (fyi when we sat here the service was not as good as usual).”
“The service is always the best and the food is excellent. So far, my favorite item has been the meat lovers Philly , but i've tried a lot of other sandwiches and their fries and I have not been disappointed.”
“After a comedy show, my boyfriend and I, along with friends, sought refuge from the rain at this charming spot. Valet parking for $7 saved us from the street hassle. Inside, we enjoyed tasty Old Fashioneds and Margaritas. The bell peppers stuffed with tuna were delicious, and the shared burger and fries were top-notch. Attentive service and a quirky horse video near the restroom added to the experience. Overall, a delightful post-show dining choice.”
“The tables are very close together, and it doesn't feel too intimate, yet there's an opportunity to create your own private little bubble around very delicious food. The brunch prefix menu is a great bargain, and all of the dishes are prepared beautifully. My only suggestion would be that the waitstaff/ team puts numbers on their order for the diners so that the food isn't auctioned off when it's brought to the table by runners”
“AOC is a culinary haven, boasting a James Beard award-winning chef whose talent shines through every dish. The Spanish Fried Chicken is nothing short of spectacular – the best I've ever had. The overall dining experience at AOC is a testament to exceptional food and skillful craftsmanship. A must-visit for any food enthusiast!”
“Umbrella is our only choice for a cocktail bar on Melrose for a day time sip. Beautiful decor, simple food menu that doesn’t disappoint and an expansive backbar. Thank you for the hospitality George, we’ll be back soon.”
“This is a hidden Gem. The server was a walking smile, fully aware of the menu excellent suggestions. Every single item was freshly prepared. Would highly recommend. At the same time kinda don't want to become overly popular.”
“Who knew that Kevin Hart would be the one championing a plant-based burger chain right in the middle of LA? I definitely got a heart on for Hart House with its junky vegan goodness. Like most fast food joints, you order at the counter and wait for your number to be called. My friend and I split two burgers: the Double Burg'r and the Deluxe Hot N' Crispy Chick'n. We also had a side of tots and fries along with a cookies and cream milkshake. To say this meal was heavy and decadent would be an understatement. What was the verdict? Pretty damn good plant based burgers y'all... although the double burg'r was extremely messy and ended up dripping all over the table lol. The chick'n kept better and I enjoyed the buffalo style tofu patty that they used. It's not my favorite chick'n burger but still not bad to let me reminisce of food I once ate. Free parking is available in the lot which makes this an accessible place to stop by especially if you're near LAX.”
