Good Japanese foods , many varieties of dishes . The fish grilled sea bass is cooked just perfectly fine . The salad is kinda american Japanese fusion but still good . The carbonara noodle - I don’t really care (It doesn’t really fit with the rest of the dishes) - overall is a great place to enjoy Japanese foods
Superb place. Unfortunately Jonny Won (?) left couple of years ago but the current Chef is more than capable of upholding this restaurant's glowing reputation for exceptionally fresh ingredients and superb cooking skills. My only advice is to stick to fish and leave the meat dishes as, although nice, are not quite "wow" as they used to be.
Hamasaku has been consistently good every time I've been here. I've had sushi in many places, including Japan. The quality of the food is spectacular.
But the thing that stands out to me the most, is the price. You'd think you'd be paying a premium. And to be fair, you are. But considering how expensive Kura sushi is here in America, the prices at Hamasaku feel very reasonable to me.
