“I came across Playa Provisions when in town for business. It was a short Uber from the airport, so I figured I'd give it a try. This place is an absolute gem! It is a unique setup that has everything you'd possibly need from morning until late at night: Cafe in the front for coffee and fresh baked good, as well as full breakfast menu. Later in the heat of the afternoon, take a break from the beach (right across the street) and enjoy hand scooped specialty ice cream cones and shakes. Oh look, it's dinner time... and Playa Provisions opens their dining room and bar, some of the best, most relaxed ambience you'll find for miles around. But don't let the casual setting fool you, this is some incredible, elevated cuisine. Chef owners Nick and Brooke (who you might recognize) crafted a menu that's I've been eating my way through, and have yet to find a dish that's not delicious. You've been eating and drinking all day, and are exhausted? Don't leave yet! Wander into the back 'secret' whiskey bar, (Grain Whiskey Bar) and enjoy hand crafted cocktails from award winning bartenders (no, literally), in a gorgeous wood laden atmosphere. I consider myself a foodie, and try as many different restaurants and cuisines as I can. And yet, Playa Provisions remains my favorite restaurant in LA (and that's saying something, considering the amazing places in LA). Run, don't walk, to Playa Provisions. You'll thank me.”

“When I say I’m obsessed with a place, this is the perfect example. Anytime I get the chance to come in, 10/10 I will make the time and go in and enjoy this place. Found this place by chance and one of the best decisions I have ever done. The customer service feels so welcoming and just perfect. They are attentive and so sweet and ready to explain any questions you may have. Now for the best part? The freaking sushi. I promise you that you don’t even need teeth to eat. It’s so soft buttery and fresh, I feel like it’s a sin to eat this stuff. I swear I went back to back every weekend at this place.EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF FISH 10/10. Please try this place, but actually don’t lol so it isn’t crowded.”
