“We swim at this beach and we love getting breakfast tacos and burritos afterwards. This food is delicious! They have vegetarian options. Their salsas are freshly made and the habanero is muy picante! 🌶️ Add their avocado green salsa - it’s unique and delicious! Very, very nice staff working day and night.“

“The perfect stop right before or after a flight (or both). The birria and the soup are perfection. It feels so light without the heavy comatose food feeling. I’ve tried several things on the menu and they are all top notch! I can’t rave enough about this place. Best food truck in the LAX vicinity. This place has one of the best pastor tacos in LA. Their meats are well seasoned and are not dry. Their salsas have great flavor and heat.
The lines can be long but it is worth the wait. You just can't beat this place when it comes to taste, quality, and price.“

“Great food and super chill vibe. We were a party of 6 at 4 pm on a Sunday, it was nearly empty at that time and they accommodated us right away. One of us had the steak fajitas and said they were amazing! The chicken and shrimp tacos are great, vegetable taco and chicken burrito were okay. The guac was super good too but the salsa was super spicy. Large portions and fast and friendly service! We sat inside but the outside area looked cute too.

“By LA taco standards, I didn't find this place special at all.
So weird that there are no cheese options for the tacos. Would be a game-changer if you could have melted cheese like Tacos Los Cholos.
Quesadilla con Chorizo looks better than it tastes.
Taco sampler platter, the chicken ones are the best.
The Jamaica agua fresca is incredible and my favorite thing here.

“This is a little place in a busy area with much more expensive options. The cost was reasonably, the food tasty and the service was very good. Nice little restroom 'way in the back' through the kitchen. Good job folks!

Loved this place! It’s a small, lively, no-frills Mexican spot on Melrose — you order on a machine and they call your number when it’s ready.
The food is really delicious, very authentic, fresh, and full of flavor — not touristy at all. You can actually see the team cooking right in front of you, which makes it clear everything is fresh.
The vibe is fun and energetic, with loud Spanish music playing, which adds to the experience. Seating is limited (mostly counter seating), but there are a few tables outside on a small terrace.
We’re a French family with three children, and during our 4-day stay in Los Angeles we had lunch here and absolutely loved it.
Overall, a great quality/price ratio — highly recommended!“

“Due to their newly extended hours, open until 3am on certain nights (just what LA needs more of ), I recently discovered this absolute gem. Although I ordered to go, I did not call ahead, so the few minutes it took to prepare the food afforded me a chance to take in the authentic family owned vibe, the super cool and lively latin beats, the welcoming and hospitable Roberto who took my order and felt like a new friend by the time I left. The chicken tamal verde was heavenly, moist and easily the best I have EVER had. The birria wet burrito with red sauce was equally a perfect 10. I went back the very next night and got that verde tamal again, and a side of the verde tomatillo sauce to use at home. The potato empanada, and birria empanadas were fantastic. I can't wait to go again and try the many wonderful dishes on their menu, as I feel certain it's all going to be great. Having small family owned business with a truly great vibe and amazing food is what makes LA a great town. A gift to our community. Thank you Tamales Veracruz MRV !!“

“The service is friendly and fast and delightful. My daughter loves their salsa for chips …it’s the only salsa she likes. Service is so sincere and attentive. “Seriously one of my favorite places to eat!! Delicious tacos (la flor is my favorite). Also love their corn, plantain chips and guacamole too. Great margaritas and agua frescas!! I recommend Taco Tuesday for $2.50 tacos and $2 off margaritas too! Service is always exceptionally friendly and fast too! Never waiting more than like 5-10 mins for food.“

“Quesataco is amazing!! So juicy and flavorful, it’s delicious every bite. Regular taco is delicious too if cheese ain’t ur thing but if it is, mulita is pretty good as well. Tacos are on the smaller side, so I usually order 2-3. If you are craving for dessert, their churros are warm and crispy! Highly recommend this place“

“Our. favorite Mexican in Santa Monica. Love the chilaqhiles (breakfast burrito with tortilla chips on it) in the morning, and the shrimp burrito for lunch. Liked the cerviche de camaron a lot, but will ditch the onions next time. The gent out front is extremely welcoming and the chips and salsa are great. Definitely worth a visit.“
