“We were overwhelmed by how delicious our meals were that I forgot to take pictures! I ate the best carne asada torta of all time! The meat was so tender and the flavowas so spot on that I absolutely recommend everyone to try it. I was hesitant to order a torta with asada meat because you can usually expect the meat to be a bit tough or have a measly meat to bread ratio. Not the case here. I made sure to compliment the chef! We also ordered the asada taco and the Mexican pizza. We all loved our dishes. The staff were really sweet and attentive. They were so kind and made my 4 year old his own little quesadilla plate. The location is pretty small. Only about 3 main seating areas. They were really busy with takeout orders. Street parking is limited and is metered. Plan aheadParking: Metered parking. “Great experience all around. I took my friend from Kansas who is not a huge Mexican food fan. I told her to come to Palmilla and give it a try. We had the caesar salad (I loved the capers in it) Ceviche trio, and the carnitas. The food was so good, not greasy like a lot of Mexican food and deliciously elevated. The Serrano cilantro margarita was amazing too. Service was friendly and prompt. Thank you“
“Great, quick spot for Mexican food in Hermosa Beach! Got the Asada Nachos for only $11.50. The nachos came with plenty of meat, cheese, guacamole, and salsa. Some of the best nachos I've had in awhile and for a price you can't beat!“

“Great authentic Mexican food. Fantastic views right on the beach. Great service. Reasonable prices. You'd never expect such an authentic family run place right on the beach, but I'm very glad we stopped in and enjoyed lunch. Such a pleasant surprise! They're tamale was amazing!!! A must order. Fresh made chips for the table, decent salsa, delicious guac! The chicken in the enchilada could have used more seasoning within the enchilada, but that is my only complaint and it's being picky.“

“Love the baby burritos and salsa options. Was surprised then delighted to get two small burritos for a very reasonable price of between $10-$13 ish dollars. Available seating and parking makes this a fantastic location. Plus breakfast burritos all day?! The best. Short walk to the beach too.Parking: A few spots in the tiny lot right in front.“
“Went to eat here for my first time even though I live just around the corner. I got two carnitas enchiladas with beans and rice and a side of guacamole. I was pleasantly surprised with how tasteful the food is. Can't believe I've never tried this amazing hole in the wall. I will definitely be returning!“

Not to mention they were super hot so it tasted so fresh. We were able to freeze some as well for later. We can't wait to go back to try other food!“
