“I come to this Chipotle all the time, and let me tell you m… the employees here are awesome! Everyone always has a good attitude, and they even like to joke around a little, which makes it way more fun to stop by.

There are a lot of people I’d love to give a shout-out to (I’ll add some names later), but I have to say… Ashley is amazing! I usually get my same go-to meal every time, but she’s always got “something I should try” & she hasn’t steered me wrong yet!

They make my order perfect every time, I’m not a fan of those overstuffed burritos that explode… I like mine just the right size. And somehow, they always remember that, which nice!

“Early Monday morning. Great service. Ordered the chorizo burrito no beans and the weenie burrito. Both had eggs cooked to perfection. Although I prefer my chorizo mixed in with my eggs. “Got three hard tacos: beef, potato (both excellent) and chicken (was the wife's least favorite of the three. Was shredded meat and she prefers chunky.) Also got a wet Al Pastor burrito. Had beans rice and cheese too. Brilliant! Restaurant is scrupulously clean. Smelled wonderful! Owners are very friendly. Only complaint is street parking is nonexistent in front of the restaurant and going down the side streets had no real luck. There is a small parking lot behind the building but it doesn't say if was legal to park there. Had to walk from the next block to get to the front door. Still. WORTH IT!!!“

“We recently catered a birthday party w/Casa Playa. It was pretty short notice, 3 days, but they really made our party perfect! I called and Alathena helped walk me through the menu to choose just the right amount of food. They provided the buffet racks and the sterno (saved me a couple of trips looking for them). Everything was delivered exactly on time and hot! They even provided signs to make choosing easier. The food was DE-Licious!! Crispy tacos were awesome as were the enchiladas. “Are you in for a perfect day? El tarasco is just two blocks from the Pacific Ocean. Go for a dip in the waves and go support
an establishment that’s been open since 1965 and known for their good prices, generous portions and juicy burritos. It feels like a diner - bar top open kitchen, stools surrounded by stickers and signed photos of celebrities such as George Lopez. My boyfriend described it as Chicano style with their fresh cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, guacamole and gratis freshly fried corn tostadas and delicious cantina style salsa. I got a crunchy chicken taco and a fish taco. While my boyfriend got a bean and cheese burrito. He said it was the best bean and cheese burrito of his life.
Some little surfer dudes came in and were all ordering the carne asada burritos. They were going to get it to go… but truly the vibes are so strong inside you want to stay.
Service was 10/5.

“We were looking for a vegetarian/ vegan Mexican restaurant and came across this hidden gem.

We were amazingly surprised by how delicious the food was. The atmosphere is very chill and gives cozy Mexican vibes.

We started with the corn ribs with the sauce which were amazing. 10/10. We got the “carne asada” burrito and three tacos; “carne asada”, “carnitas”, and the “shrimp”. I love the shrimp taco. My husband really likes the carne asada burrito.

We are definitely coming back to try their other dishes/ choice of protein.“

“I’ve been going here for 15 years at least, always top notch service and food. I’ve moved away from redondo but whenever I’m in town I make sure to stop by and get a Special C every visit. I saw some for sale signs on the property and I really hope this location doesn’t move! It’s such a staple in the area, I used to sneak out of RUHS during lunch to run down and get burritos in high school. I would be very sad if it left their PCH spot!! They’re always so nice and so yummy!!“
