“Been coming here for 3 years now. Great homemade style food every single time. I'm talking chiles rellenos, carne asada, flautas, fajitas, you can't go wrong with anything here. Very good beans and rice, which I have found to be a good indicator for mexican restaurants. I also really recommend the frozen lemonade. Service is always friendly and welcoming. 10/10“

“Always good. Usually order barbacoa or carne asada. But once in awhile I get huevos ranchero's or steak tampiqueno. All are very good! My husband loves the carnitas and my friend always gets the chicken tortilla soup. Service is very pleasant and quick.“

“Ordered food this morning from Maria's, and was pleasantly surprised. The young man who delivered the food was very nice and polite. The food was delivered rather quickly. Got 3 of the 3 pancake, eggs, bacon, sausage, and homestyle potato meals. The food was delicious and the smell of the pancakes, well you'll know what I mean when you get yours. Its like home cooking, which is the best compliment I can give.“

“This was my first time trying Puesta Del Sol because I had heard from several people that their hamburger were really good.

After trying it myself, I can say the burger did not disappoint.

For a Mexican restaurant, they make a surprisingly good burger, even though burgers are not typically their specialty.

The other dishes we tried were also delicious, especially the menudo. Overall, the food was flavorful, satisfying, and worth coming back for.
The only downside was the wait time. The food took a while to come out, particularly the burger. Be prepared to wait around 15–20 minutes, especially during busy hours.

As for the restaurant itself, the place is decent. It’s not the cleanest restaurant I’ve been to, but it’s comfortable enough and has a relaxed atmosphere.

Overall, if you're in San Pedro and looking for good food, especially a great burger and menudo, Puesta Del Sol is definitely worth a try.

I am really picky when it comes to fish tacos, before stumbling upon this truck in San Pedro, the only fish tacos (besides my own home made fish tacos) that I really enjoyed were the fish tacos from Hole Mole. Not only does this truck have the option of grilled or beer battered fish tacos, but they also have calamari tacos, and shrimp tacos even octopus tacos!... The beer battered fish is made fresh to order and the outside is fried to a golden crisp perfection and the chipotle crema is not too spicy but just perfect.. because the fish pieces are so huge .. every bit is perfect and the tortillas seem home made which is awesome because the thickness helps make sure they don't fall apart... I found my new favorite taco place :)“

“We had a large pick up order 50 tacos for a birthday party. They were delicious. We didn’t try chicken only carnitas and asada. The price was great and they sent us away with loads of pico de gallo, salsas and chips, amazing. Parking can be a challenge so be patient it’s worth it. I only gave 4 stars on service because the one nice lady that was there was stretched thin. You can dine in but it’s very small.“

Served doubled, because you have to. The Chili Verde was incredible as is (no salsa required as it already had some great sauce). The Carnitas was LEGENDARY. we added a little bit of the green salsa and whoosh - i was blown away.Probably the best, authentic, mexican style taco i've ever had!“
