I got the cold turkey sandwich which comes on fresh white sub bread, lettuce, cheese (I think provolone), mayo and banana peppers on the side. Large portion, tasted good !

Next time I would do easy mayo add a pickle and see if they can do salt and pepper and if they have red wine vinegar.

“I stumbled upon this little gem while out for a walk, and I’m so glad I gave it a try after hearing locals raving about it back at my hotel. The calamari was cooked to perfection, and the clam chowder was so authentic it reminded me of home back in Nova Scotia. I even returned the next day for the seafood linguine, and I’m still thinking about it two days later! If you’re in the San Pedro area, this place is an absolute must-visit.“

“Since I'm a very picky Japanese food eater, I tend to avoid anything that might be Japanese where it's not 100% Japanese. That said, I do enjoy the Thai food here. It's decent and filling. The staff are polite and I like it because it's in walking distance for me.

I have tried some Japanese-ish food like the lobster rolls or teriyaki chicken. Those dishes weren't bad if you consider them more California Asian cuisine. The prices are what you might expect these days for a spot like this. They do have lunch time specials so I think those are worth making the trip if you're in the area and want some decent Thai etc or something different.“

“This is a small and neat Mexican restaurant in San Pedro. The restaurant is not large and can only accommodate 5-6 dining tables. Since there is only one owner in the kitchen responsible for cooking, we had to wait for a long time after placing the order, but it is not inappropriate. The quality of the food is excellent. For example, the beans are very delicious. Although the portion per plate is not as large as expected, our family is still very satisfied after the meal. There are many similar small restaurants in the San Pedro community. Every time we come here, we basically enjoy it and love the laid-back atmosphere of this place. I hope everyone can come here more often. Hope you enjoy it too!“

“A ramen place with a very nice menu and alot of spicy levels of you like to challenge yourself. The service is very good and ambient environment alles you to settle down and enjoy your ramen. Will come again. Had Ko Ryu ramen and will try a higher spicy level next time 😆“

“The burgers are good, chinese chicken salad, chicken caesar sandwich, breakfast burritos and southwest bbq chicken sandwich are all great depending on your taste. but my favorite is the chicken salad sandwich with bacon and red onions. Its my favorite by far and love all the flavors in it especially the swiss cheese they use. Its also a bug plus they deliver locally and dont take too long. would definitely recommend this place especially for delivery.“

“Yesterday while working across the street I decided to try this place. Is pretty small with about 8 tables enough for 20 people or more and nough to enjoy breakfast or lunch. Now many people have food to go. Wide variety of options to choose from. I had teriyaki chicken with shrimp . The lady who was there is very friendly and my order came out very fast the price is super reasonable for the size of the meal and most importantly it was really tasty. Definitely have to go again if I'm nearby.“

“Always good. Usually order barbacoa or carne asada. But once in awhile I get huevos ranchero's or steak tampiqueno. All are very good! My husband loves the carnitas and my friend always gets the chicken tortilla soup. Service is very pleasant and quick.“

“Ordered food this morning from Maria's, and was pleasantly surprised. The young man who delivered the food was very nice and polite. The food was delivered rather quickly. Got 3 of the 3 pancake, eggs, bacon, sausage, and homestyle potato meals. The food was delicious and the smell of the pancakes, well you'll know what I mean when you get yours. Its like home cooking, which is the best compliment I can give.“

“Amazing ambiance! You’re in for a treat coming here. This is not your typical dining place by far. Here you’ll see tables submerged in the water while a sever wades out to you and takes your order. The water is so warm that it feels like you’re walking into a heated pool! So lovely! I spent Mother’s Day in this restaurant along with 6 more couples and had a phenomenal time. Friendly staff, good energy and they constantly check in with you. Our server was the best! Great giving us recommendations off the menu and if you are looking for good drinks + seafood this place is a MUST! Food here is exquisite! We ordered crab, fried shrimp, red snapper, shrimp skewers, chicken quesadillas and fish empanadas. Everything was deliciously tasty! Portion sizes are generous and freshly made. The waiting time after you order food can take over 30 to 40mins., so be ready to wait. However, once you start eating you’ll automatically forget everything else. Alcoholic Drinks - Micheladas are unbelievably good! If you like tangy & citrusy beer then this may be your new favorite drink. Piña Coladas are addicting! I think they use Belizean coconut rum on this drink which brings the flavor to a different level of sweetness, but enough not to be overpowering. Prices - affordable Duration: (11am - 4pm) We stayed for 5 hours indulging in their delicious food dishes, drinking & lounging in this gorgeous place. Also took some cool pics with the gorgeous beach views. Entertainment- DJ plays Afro beats, Reggae, Spanish music and hip pop or whatever you request. Hahaha Perfect spot to take your vacation pics or influencer’s (IG & Tik Tok) shots! You’ll see the giant swing set and slide on the water. This restaurant is located 45mins away from downtown and by the time we decided to head back to our hotel it was almost 4:30pm and it began to rain a bit. Once we got to the hotel my husband realized his wallet was missing. By the time we tried calling Blue Bayou it was already closed for the night. We had to wait till the next day and hope they had found it. What was inside the wallet? DL, 2 credit cards, 1 debit card and some cash. My poor husband barely slept that night stressing over the missing wallet. Next morning at 8:30am we headed back to the restaurant hoping the wallet would be there. Although the possibility of anything falling or dropping off from the golf cart was very likely since it has no doors or storage compartment. Finally, arrived 45 mins later at Blue Bayou and thank God the same waiter who served us the day before was there who recognized us. He smiled and said, “John Doe! You lost something here right?”, then he reached to the drawer where he pulled out the wallet!!! What a relief! NOT A SINGLE THING WAS MISSING! Everything was there! Wow!!! By far this place is not just a great restaurant with excellent service, but they’re TRUSTWORTHY PEOPLE!! So happy to have come here and can’t wait to come back again! Thank you Blue Bayou!“

Couldn't decide between a teriyaki plate or a burger. I chose the chicken teriyaki burger and it was tasty. Their teriyaki sauce is really good. I plan to go back next time I'm around there to try their plates 👍

“Its unfortunate that probably the only people who will eat here are travelers on their way to Catalina because it truly is worth a drive for a great meal! Who'd a thought a breakfast burrito and an omelette would surprise anyone but that's exactly what it did. Both were delicious! I even heard my Fiancé say "Tjis is the best omelette i've ever had!" So there you have it. And did I mention the prices were extremely reasonable? Actually quite low for the quality! Have a bite on the water and enjoy everything about this little bistro!“

“We just had a pork and cheese pupusa, a revuelta (pork, beans, cheese) pupusa and a side order of refried beans. What a delicious meal!! I’ve been to El Salvador twice and I have had pupusa‘s in a lot of places in the United States. The pupusas at Paquitas are authentic and just so delicious. For sure, that is my comfort food! The refried beans it’s exactly what I have had El Salvador. I asked the lady at the counter what kind of beans they use and she said they buy beans from El Salvador in Los Angeles. I can totally taste the difference. They were so great I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“The mojarra frita al mojo de ajo is amazing! Extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner menu a la Mexicana. The service is warm and hospitable. My waitress, Selena provided me legendary customer service! I will definitely be back when I am in the area.

Parking: Free public parking behind the establishment. You can walk in/out from the rear of the restaurant to and from your car. Pretty cool!“

“Four of us ate dinner at Flame Broiler. We had the chicken and beef bowls, everyone agreed that the food was great. I will definitely come back and eat again.

Parking: This location is in the Park Plaza shopping center with plenty of shared parking. We had no problem finding a parking spot close to the front door.“

It's one of the most dependably good feelings you can get in San Pedro. Comfort Chinese food at Louie's Number 2 Chinese Restaurant. Number 1 is in Wilmington.“
