“Eclectic, laid back, friendly, creative, and I must mention the FOOD!Innovative, beautifully presented and delicious! Even as a tapas restaurant, I leave satiated and relaxed!”
“My husband had the Filet Mignon, and I had the Tomato and Gruyère Tart. For starters, we had a delicious heirloom tomato salad, and ended with coffee and dessert. Everything was fresh and tasted great. We had a Pinot Noir with our meal, which was also delicious. Highly recommend!”

“5 stars for the vibes, service ease of parking!!!
Love good food tucked away in a convenience store. Unassuming and here for the people.
Torta- love the black bean spread!
Torpedo- great sauce here as well.
The bread is overall delicious, however as many sandwich shops struggle the fillings stop before the end of the bread, nice pile in the center but for the price and the science of sandwich's please go all the way to the side. Glad I made the hour plus drive for it but it does not call me back.”
“I recently visited Boba Time and had a great experience! The drinks were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just the way I like it. The staff was friendly and efficient, even during a busy time, and my order came out quickly. The shop itself was clean and had a nice vibe, making it a great spot to hang out or grab a drink on the go.”
“Heard about this place from being a fan of Gene's channel for a bit. Ngl the commute from dt through the rain was a pain but the coffee was definitely worth it! Prices were super affordable and it all was so smooth and flavorful. Didn't get to see the man himself but service was solid and got recommended to take my girl to the sick store down the block that my girl has now populated the coffee table with. Definitely going back and getting a chai asap!”
“So much to say… but ultimately, Colossus in Long Beach is WONDERFUL!! The BEST BLT I’ve ever had. Because they use high quality ingredients! Their Soft-Scrambled Egg Toast is divine. And everything is beautifully fresh. I love their country bread, baguettes, olive cumin bread, dinner rolls… but I have so much more to try Their pastries are scrumptious: Pecan Sticky Bun, Cardamom Bun, Kouign Amann, Financier, Marzipan Croissant, Sea Salt Brownie, OG Chocolate Chip Cookie. It’s all amazing and I’ve brought a number of friends to show off this incredible Belmont Shore Bakery. On Friday nights Colossus serves pizza into the night. Again, high-quality ingredients make their pizzas delicious. Plus they have interesting and unique combinations. They are tip free because their starting wage is $21/hr. Great customer service. Cute little space with some lovely specialty spice mixes, food items, merch, and wine. Indoor and outdoor seating, and they serve tasty coffees and teas. Colossus feels like a little bit of Europe on 2nd Street.”

“If you’re looking for authentic, homemade Mexican food, Mr. Valdez Mexican Restaurant is an absolute gem. This cozy mom-and-pop spot truly feels like a labor of love, with everything made fresh and full of flavor.
The mole is incredible—rich, comforting, and honestly reminds me of the kind my mom used to make. It’s one of those dishes that instantly feels nostalgic. And the chile verde? Finger-licking good. Every bite is packed with fresh, vibrant flavor.
Beyond the food, what really makes this place special is the people. The owners are some of the sweetest, most genuine folks you’ll meet—truly salt-of-the-earth. You can feel the warmth the moment you walk in.
This place has quickly become one of our regular spots, and for good reason. If you appreciate real, homemade cooking and kind-hearted service, you’ll love it here.”
“I brought my grandson to 22nd St Landing in March when he was on Spring Break from College and he loved it. My son treated me to 22nd St Landing on Sat before Mother's Day. All waiters are very nice! We saw several of our friends at tables near us. Today, I am treating a friend for lunch for his Birthday today.”

“We ordered for a film crew and cast yesterday. The employees were incredibly nice and patient and super helpful with the menu! Everyone was asking if we can order from here again this week while we're in this location. It was a hit! I tried their Vietnamese coffee and I'm coming back for another one for sure, super strong but sweet. Thank you so much!!”
“Amazing ambiance! You’re in for a treat coming here. This is not your typical dining place by far. Here you’ll see tables submerged in the water while a sever wades out to you and takes your order. The water is so warm that it feels like you’re walking into a heated pool! So lovely! I spent Mother’s Day in this restaurant along with 6 more couples and had a phenomenal time. Friendly staff, good energy and they constantly check in with you. Our server was the best! Great giving us recommendations off the menu and if you are looking for good drinks + seafood this place is a MUST! Food here is exquisite! We ordered crab, fried shrimp, red snapper, shrimp skewers, chicken quesadillas and fish empanadas. Everything was deliciously tasty! Portion sizes are generous and freshly made. The waiting time after you order food can take over 30 to 40mins., so be ready to wait. However, once you start eating you’ll automatically forget everything else. Alcoholic Drinks - Micheladas are unbelievably good! If you like tangy & citrusy beer then this may be your new favorite drink. Piña Coladas are addicting! I think they use Belizean coconut rum on this drink which brings the flavor to a different level of sweetness, but enough not to be overpowering. Prices - affordable Duration: (11am - 4pm) We stayed for 5 hours indulging in their delicious food dishes, drinking & lounging in this gorgeous place. Also took some cool pics with the gorgeous beach views. Entertainment- DJ plays Afro beats, Reggae, Spanish music and hip pop or whatever you request. Hahaha Perfect spot to take your vacation pics or influencer’s (IG & Tik Tok) shots! You’ll see the giant swing set and slide on the water. This restaurant is located 45mins away from downtown and by the time we decided to head back to our hotel it was almost 4:30pm and it began to rain a bit. Once we got to the hotel my husband realized his wallet was missing. By the time we tried calling Blue Bayou it was already closed for the night. We had to wait till the next day and hope they had found it. What was inside the wallet? DL, 2 credit cards, 1 debit card and some cash. My poor husband barely slept that night stressing over the missing wallet. Next morning at 8:30am we headed back to the restaurant hoping the wallet would be there. Although the possibility of anything falling or dropping off from the golf cart was very likely since it has no doors or storage compartment. Finally, arrived 45 mins later at Blue Bayou and thank God the same waiter who served us the day before was there who recognized us. He smiled and said, “John Doe! You lost something here right?”, then he reached to the drawer where he pulled out the wallet!!! What a relief! NOT A SINGLE THING WAS MISSING! Everything was there! Wow!!! By far this place is not just a great restaurant with excellent service, but they’re TRUSTWORTHY PEOPLE!! So happy to have come here and can’t wait to come back again! Thank you Blue Bayou!”
“Great place to unwind after a day of hiking and enjoy a variety of craft beers. It has games and live comedy show. A food truck is available right outside the entrance.”
“Their menu has a good variety of ramens to choose from. The shacho ramen tasted really really good. The garlic bomb ramen had a unique flavor similar to salt ramen that is quite really tasty.”

“We had a large pick up order 50 tacos for a birthday party. They were delicious. We didn’t try chicken only carnitas and asada. The price was great and they sent us away with loads of pico de gallo, salsas and chips, amazing. Parking can be a challenge so be patient it’s worth it. I only gave 4 stars on service because the one nice lady that was there was stretched thin. You can dine in but it’s very small.”
“This is real deal Mexican food in San Pedro! Just a 5 minute drive away so I've had every dish on the menu. It's incredible value considering you get authentic recipes, a friendly cook, who cooks right in front of you if you sit and the bar, and nice waitresses. Solid Mexican food at a great price.”
“Very great service, Alfredo the manager is one of a kind. Congratulations to the whole team!!!! 😃😃😃”

“This is gonna sound crazy, but I’m sitting here where I live now in Phoenix, Arizona for the past six years and wanted a sandwich today
As I’m driving around, looking at all the chain stores, you know the usual suspects
Jersey Mike’s
Jimmy John’s, etc., etc. etc.
All I could think about was back in the day when I lived in San Pedro, California
I ordered that hot barbecue chicken sandwich to go …
I was sitting in a convertible overlooking the South Bay, sauce running down my arms, napkins surrendering one by one, and I briefly lost consciousness from happiness.
Honestly, that was more than a sandwich
It was ecstasy between two slices of bread
🤩🥰 —— thanks for the memories.”
“This establishment offers an excellent dining experience, particularly for those seeking nutritious options. The staff consistently demonstrates professionalism and courtesy. The interior dining area is well-maintained and clean, and restroom facilities are available for patrons.”
“Been coming here for 3 years now. Great homemade style food every single time. I'm talking chiles rellenos, carne asada, flautas, fajitas, you can't go wrong with anything here. Very good beans and rice, which I have found to be a good indicator for mexican restaurants. I also really recommend the frozen lemonade. Service is always friendly and welcoming. 10/10”
“The Service Is Wonderful The Staff Is Also Helpful Thai Barbeque Food Was Wonderful Jasmine Rice Was Also Wonderful As Well Two Refills Of Sprite Soda Drink Too Wow I Would Love To Go Again Very Soon Thanks I Give Sirinat Thai Five Stars From Alexander”

“Joseph's Bakery is fantastic, I always try to get in here whenever I'm in the area. They have wonderful baked goods (especially the brownies), pastries, and nostalgic little square pizza slices. The staff are wonderful. The family who runs this place is just great; very kind, very welcoming, and happy to share what they've made with you! If you're nearby and you feel like getting a sweet treat, please, for your sake, don't make the mistake of passing this place up.”
“Highly recommend! Ordered the chicken plate and beef plate for our family. Portion size was huge so it was enough for two people per plate. Also, order also comes with two dumplings and a side salad so it really feels like a meal.
Really friendly staff. They provided extra plates and cups of water when we asked. Seating is outdoor only and they’re right next to a car wash but their tables and benches were clean so I didn’t mind, especially cause the weather was nice.”
“Came all the way from new Jersey to try these tacos I've been told are the best, maaaaaan i would sell my mother for these tacos, they were so good. Also one really really great thing i noticed as soon i approached the truck to order was the strong smell of cleaning products 👏👏👏👏. Amazing location”
“If you are in need of great Italian cookies this is the place for you. They also have cakes and you can order one as well. They have amazing pastries. There is nothing that is not good there. It is all great.
The place is older, but ever so clean and nice. You will love it.
The service is very friendly and they just don't sell stale cookies. It is hard to find great Italian cookies, and yes, we will drive to San Pedro to get them. We also love their cakes, they are not as sweet as some, they are perfect.
You will want to buy a bunch of pastries and take them home. I have found that they do not freeze well, so just eat them.
We also love their Parker House rolls. You will too.
They even have sandwiches and next time I will try one.
San Pedro is fun. If you have never been go.”
“Food is fantastic!! Environment is very friendly, casual and welcoming. Staff is outstanding and accommodating, especially Angel. He always goes out of his way to assist with terrific recommendations and special orders. I highly recommend this lovely gem of a restaurant in San Pedro on Western Avenue.”
“I'm not sure if this is the place that's the brewery. We never had a bad experience anywhere in Catalina at any establishment. The people were wonderful. And the brewery had wonderful ales”
“Great vibes, awesome bartenders, prices are right and theres always good music playing!”
“This was my first time trying Puesta Del Sol because I had heard from several people that their hamburger were really good.
After trying it myself, I can say the burger did not disappoint.
For a Mexican restaurant, they make a surprisingly good burger, even though burgers are not typically their specialty.
The other dishes we tried were also delicious, especially the menudo. Overall, the food was flavorful, satisfying, and worth coming back for.
The only downside was the wait time. The food took a while to come out, particularly the burger. Be prepared to wait around 15–20 minutes, especially during busy hours.
As for the restaurant itself, the place is decent. It’s not the cleanest restaurant I’ve been to, but it’s comfortable enough and has a relaxed atmosphere.
Overall, if you're in San Pedro and looking for good food, especially a great burger and menudo, Puesta Del Sol is definitely worth a try.
Good food, reasonable atmosphere, but slower service keeps it from being a perfect score.”

“We had two different company meetings where we had to provide food, and we were stressed about finding the right place. Someone had recommended Sandwich Saloon for catering. Their sandwich platters with a Chinese salad were not just reasonably priced, but they were able to customize some for vegans. They were able to deliver the food early for said meetings, and also provide plates, forks, and napkins. Everyone at the meetings just inhaled the sandwiches. Incredibly friendly service. I recommend for any company meal.”
“Clean, friendly, accurate, and quick. I'm going back today.
Dietary restrictions: Soy, coconut, almond, and oat milk are all available.
Kid-friendliness: Just ask for kids temp in the coco's won't burn your children.
Wheelchair accessibility: The whole store is completely wheelchair accessible.”
“I had the most delicious mojarra frita. It was so full of flavor. The yucca with chicharon was phenomenal. The agua de jamaica was so flavorful. I really enjoyed this place. Two of us ate very well.”
“Like this place to relax after work. Good service. Karely and jane favorite bar tenders love it.”

“I had two fantastic meals at the 2800 Kitchen & Lounge at the DoubleTree at the Port of Los Angeles. For dinner, the Tostadas were yummy and with corn tortillas crisp enough that I could pick them up to eat. I also ordered Seasonal Vegetables, which were fresh and cooked to perfection. For breakfast, the Avocado Toast with hard boiled egg was also excellent, and came with the perfect complement of fresh fruit. Definitely coming here again.”
“Bomb food? Good service...amazing would love too come back”
“I have heard of SPFM before and wanted to go. We tried to go before our cruise, but it was closing. Made it a point to go as soon as we got off the cruise, we'll after the USS Iowa tour and was blown away!! Very good!!! The staff are all friendly and the food was amazing!! But be careful, the shrimp plate is not for the light eater. I am fully stuffed! Highly Recommend!! Thank You SPFM!”

“This pizza is INCREDIBLE and tastes EXACTLY how they make it in Italy… After all, the chef is Italian 💅 🇮🇹. They use high-quality ingredients (amazing tomato sauce, anyone???) and a wood-fire oven to bring these masterpieces to life. Oh… and the pizzas have the classic, soft, thin crusts…”
“Great food and great service. Alexis was working by himself when I came in and handled everything perfectly. He took orders, made the food, and kept things moving without any issues. He was friendly, professional, and made sure everything came out right.
You can tell he works hard and cares about the customers. Definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had here. Thanks, Alexis!”
