“Our women's group UWiS celebrated our 9th International Women's Day Dinner @Raffeallos Ristorante on Friday, March 8th. We had 100 guests, including one supportive man, President of Local 105 SMART Sheet Metal Worker's union. Our event was in their banquet room and we used every inch. The room was beautifully decorated and the service was excellent. We had a deejay who did take request DJ Sweezy and he struck just the right tones. It was a beautiful evening to celebrate women in various trades.”
“Quality of food and service were great. I started off with soup which was served in a plastic bowl. My main course was Ossobuco which was a $30 plus entree served on a plastic plate. Paying good money for nice food served on plastic made for a cheap feeling experience. I’ll go elsewhere.Parking: Parking is difficult to find and I had to pay for it once I found a spot.”
“Bonjour! We discovered that typically French bistro, hedging on bohemian design by pure luck strolling down the street. Curiosity enticed us to make a reservation a few days later. We were welcomed by a smily hostess & guided to our table. Having read the menu on the door, we pretty much knew what we would order, however our local guest had to peruse the menu. We decided to order a large charcuterie board while we were discussing the items. Promptly we were made aware of the daily specials. The charcuterie and cheese board was covered by some slices of salami that reminded me of the Jesus de Lyon, some. Good country style pâté, some deliciousProsciutto, three cheeses, a bleu d’Auvergne(may be fourme d’Ambert) some conté, and a less desirable brie looking cheese, and of course there were the north American accoutrements of jam, walnuts, raisins but no cornichon(bizarre!). A basket of acceptable sliced baguette did the trick. We shared the delicious appetizer special composed of « al dente »green asparagus and hot smoked trout filet well balanced with a vinaigrette. The red beet/goat cheese salad lacked some wholeness: the red wine dressing lacked acidity and it doesn’t help the beets now days have lost their dark colour and much of their flavour due to seed manipulation. (May be some chopped garlic and parsley would have been welcomed). The beef Bourguignon stole the show, excellent large piece of beef shoulder nicely slowly braised in the red wine sauce with mashed russet potatoes and baby carrots(didn’t notice the mushroom, lardons and pearl onions) the bouillabaisse… we are so far away from the Mediterranean Sea…it had to be reinvented and it was, I would have appreciated more than one kind of fish, the sliced insipid fennel(it has no taste when you cook it, that is not the fault of the chef, mind you, probably another manipulation from Monsanto) may be a few drop of pastis would have played the trick, and saffron, what saffron?? The only disappointment was the Muscovy duck leg confit, I couldn’t check the pedigree of that duck, but that scrawny leg might have been from a Mulard duck instead, the fat wasn’t crispy and the meat firm and dry (was there enough duck fat for the confit process?) We sampled the three desserts: crème brûlée, was good, probably made with half &half cream instead of the 35% cream and no vanilla beans, the chocolate mousse ,could have been more airy, the lemon tart, I would have liked more of a lemony punch, maybe by incorporating some lemon zest when you emulsify the cream.A wine bistro..It was indeed! A very well assembled wine list, moderatly priced, good selection of Bordeaux and Burgundy wineries and surprisingly a few Beaujolais(Morton, Fleury…) In all a good experience.A bientôt !”
“Good beer, good food, and a great atmosphere! I always stop for a beer and a bite from one of the food trucks from their rotating lineup.Dog ate my homework is definitely the best!”
“We were here for a bridal dinner in the private back room. Absolutely delicious!!! Fresh ingredients and everything made with love. Excellent service, beautiful atmosphere! The pasta was perfect and the appetizers were such a tasty start to an incredible meal.”
“Shore Grille offers a delightful dining experience with their nice, hot, juicy burgers that are sure to satisfy any burger lover. The waffle fries are fresh with just the right amount of crispiness, making them the perfect side. The restaurant itself is very clean and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere for enjoying a meal. One exciting addition is their new cocktail menu, which adds a fun twist to your dining experience. However, during my visit, the service was a bit slow despite the restaurant not being busy. Despite this, our waiter was very nice and made sure we were taken care of. Overall, Shore Grille is a great spot for a tasty burger and a relaxed dining experience.”
“Great restaurant with fantastic food, great views of the harbor, indoor and outdoor patio seating with a full bar. They're open 6 days a week but closed on Mondays. They also serve brunch. Plenty of parking too which is always a good thing, Definitely recommend this fine family owned restaurant that has been in San Pedro for nearly 40 years.”
“Staff lost track of us after seating but it was busy and not for too long. They more than made up for it with fantastic food, drinks and recommendations. Used to go to nicks on 2nd when we lived in long Beach. This fills the void and exceeds it.”
“100% best bfast place in SP. Staff is fantastic. Great for an Uber delivery. What you see at the restaurant is what arrives at your door. In the restaurant, the food is plentiful, great price, hot upon arrival. You never have a glass empty and the inside out patio areas are always clean. A must try!!! (Steaks are made fantastically) veggies are never soggy and overcooked... fruits are fresh. They take pride in what they plate.”
“I really love the authentic Japanese restaurant. A San Pedro treasure, A must try. The food was exquisite, also service was amazing. My favorite place when in townKid-friendliness: My son enjoyed it and they also provided him with starter chop sticks. Also small toys for sale inside, neat addition.”
“My boyfriend and I got four dishes to go. Yellow curry with chicken, beef spicy basil, duck, and vegetable cashew nut. Everything was delicious and tasted of great quality. They gave good potion sizes as well. The duck was some of the best duck I've had at a restaurant. The only critic would be that everything was a bit too salty which made it hard to finish everything. Aside from that, it was a delicious dinner!”
“If you in the heart of Pedro and want a chill relaxing vibe spot....Goodfellas is a gem!Look for Tai, she is fantastic!....& "Tommy, you really are a funny guy!!!"”
“I only tried this place for their avocado toast. Let me tell you though it was really good. I would have liked a bigger serving. They paired it with fresh strawberries. I asked my fiance to join me and she just wanted Starbucks. I plan on returning for a drink and one of the bowls. I meant to ask if they do sample tasting. Since I haven't had every ingredient on the menu. The last thing I would want is to pay for something I won't eat because I haven't had something in it that I could have substituted. I will post on the other two things the next time I go. The service was great and the location is beautiful. I fully recommend it. It's a must for those things alone. The food and drinks are just perks after the fact.”
“We ate here twice while visiting San Pedro. The first visit had great service and food. The second visit was not good service , and she was a bit inpatient and aggressive. Ask all these questions, but not is this one check, then tell us we gotta split it ourselves and pay whomever pays for us, there was 6 of us looking all mismatching we don't look like a single check table. Period.”
“Near my house so I pop in when I can. The cashier was nice and prices were good. Takes a little longer than I would prefer but it's not bad.Parking: Small parking lot sharing with 6 other shops only about 10-12 spaces.”
“It's all about those imperial rolls! I live in Nor Cal now but whenever I'm visiting San Pedro, ordering from Nam's is a must! Been going there for 40 years”
“I got the seafood cocktail that had everything. Shrimp, octopus etc plus a tasty raw oyster . If you're not afraid to spend your money come on down to San Pedro, CA.It is my hometown and I like to spend my hard earned cash their. Also chips and salsa were delicious Friendly workers and servers. Thumbs up for Mexican style seafood cocktails”
“Michelle was great. Guided us through the menu, gave recommendations and we took her at her word. The Cali-bowl with salmon, clam chowder, and fish tacos were outstanding. All tasted fresh and hot. The martini’s completed the meal. Our cruise eve could not have been better!”
“The staff tonight were so nice! Cashier was very pleasant.I added to my orders after I paid, and they were genuinely so sweet and patient about it. Also great customer service!”
“A One of a kind experience that only Fishermans Market can offer. It's been a long tradition in my family to eat here when we visit and we continue to do so even after the relocation. I highly recommend making reservations with or without an event being planned. Drink options are great and the food is always made to order and fresh. Truly a seafood lovers haven. The Oysters were fresh and a great size, with a very reasonable price compared to other locations that offer fresh oysters. Come with an empty stomach if you plan to order any of the tray options. We went with the super tray that fed 4 or more. I highly encourage a visit.”
“Absolutely amazing in every way! I don’t care where else you go for a steak or how much you spend, you won’t find a better ribeye. Swordfish, pizza, Carbonara pasta and bread pudding all were excellent!”
