“Everything was fantastic from the service to the food to the ambiance. Great place to go for some authentic Turkish dishes served by Turks themselves.
Definitely the best lamb I've ever had, and their pepper sauce was delicious! Be sure to try an apple or pomegranate tea and stop by their desert shop next door!”
“Came here on a whim for a solo date. My server, Logan - was incredibly knowledgeable about wine and helped me choose an amazing seafood pasta off the menu. At first I wasn’t sure about the squid ink, but it was probably one of the best pastas I have ever eaten. The affogato for dessert was delicious as well.
Side note: They were playing cool music, early Black Sabbath off Vol. 4 🤘🏼
I will definitely be back!”
“To John Hansen, My wife and I would like to thank you for such a lovely evening. Chez Bacchus represents the “True Expression of a Dining Experience”. Starting with the welcoming staff at the entrance. John, your hospitality is the beginning of the joyful experience. The restaurant is so elegant. We enjoyed the vaulted ceilings with wood beams. We enjoyed the large window at the kitchen area so you can see the Chefs at work. We got to sit next to the impressive wine rack display. The restaurant’s ambiance wouldn’t be complete without the soft background music. Our waiter, Issac, was a delight. He provided us with his expertise in choosing our wines, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. It was a pleasure to meet to give special thanks to the Chef, Danny Le and Su Chef, Donald. Their expertise is why we had an amazing and delicious dinner.”

“Nice variety of house beers. Two outdoor patios, one along the pedestrian walkway and one In between adjacent buildings. Short bar with silent TVs. Lots of seating inside and out. In a very walkable area with numerous bus stops nearby. Mellow background music. A nice relaxed place with.
Great to see a Pale Ale and non-hazy IPAs on the menu.”
“Husband and I went there last night during Haunt Hopping in Santa Ana -- and WOW!! Absolutely delicious, filling burgers and crispiest, hottest fries! Very friendly service. Hoping they open some locations near us, but until then, we'll make special trips -- they're that good!”
“Pleasantly surprised to have this experience of flavor, ambiance and service. We normally go to Nico’s or Marlena because of its consistency of flavor and location to home. Viaje is the equivalent and then some. The chef is from Mexico City and is the real deal. The food, starting off with the ceviche 9/10, ribeye appetizer 10/10, branzino 10/10 and then the dessert of the tres leches 10/10. Ok, so you don’t quite believe me, well, try 11/10 for the consume broth for the lamb appetizer!! David was our server recommended we just try the broth since we were so full. We were dipping tortilla chips into the broth like little kids it was so good!! It didn’t matter how full be were!
Food all came out timely and together nice and hot. It’s rare to have everything taste that good from start to finish. Price may be an obstacle for most, but doesn’t break the bank like a Michelin Star place. Viaje is one of those restaurants that need to stay on 2nd St…it is the very best on that strip if not all of Long Beach.”
“"Thai District is a culinary gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The food was absolutely amazing, bursting with authentic Thai flavors that transported us to Thailand. Scott, our server, went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. Not only did he provide impeccable service, but he also shared interesting tidbits about the area, like the length of the actual “Long Beach” in Long Beach, adding a delightful personal touch to our evening. We left feeling completely satisfied and already planning our next visit. Five stars all around for Thai District!"”

“Heritage Restaurant, Long Beach – A Well-Earned Michelin Star by Michael Broderick. In a city where “Californian” culinary ambition often plays second fiddle to casual dining, Heritage in Long Beach has carved out a place of quiet excellence, earning a well-deserved Michelin star. This intimate dining experience is a testament to ingredient-driven, technique-forward cooking, where flavors are both restrained, unpretentious, and deeply expressive. From the first bite, it was clear that Heritage excels at layering textures and flavors in unexpected ways. The meal began with an Amuse Bouche trio: a delicate prawn cracker topped with sweet Dungeness crab, a green leaf with another seafood salad that was to be eaten like a mini street taco, and balanced with the brightness and light crunch of pickled turnip. A seemingly simple couple of bites, but one that foreshadowed the precision and thoughtfulness of the courses to follow. To cleanse the palate, a mint tea infused with palo santo was served—a meditative interlude that was both refreshing and aromatic, setting the stage for the evening’s journey. The first official course, Crème Caviar, featured Russian Sturgeon Heritage Caviar and chive, a chilled preparation that was rich yet elegantly restrained. This was followed by Kanpachi Crudo, presented with carrot, ginger, and macédoine vegetables, offering a balance of clean ocean flavors against bright, vegetal undertones. Then came what I consider the star of the evening: a dish that fully captured the ethos of Heritage—Hen of the Woods Mushroom, topped in a “sunchoke stew” (crispy fried sunchoke) with fermented mushroom. For an additional $25, an indulgent shaving of black truffle took the dish to another level, transforming it into a sensory experience that evoked the deep, earthy satisfaction of foraging. The interplay of umami-rich elements made this course a masterpiece of textural and flavor contrast. The proteins that followed were executed with equal care. First, a perfectly prepared Rainbow Trout, sauted to perfection with a crispy layer of skin on one side, delicate pink flesh on the other, bathed in a delicate dashi and punctuated with bursts of smoked trout roe in a light creme sauce, which lent salinity and depth. Then, a 32-day dry-aged rib chop, a cut that can sometimes lean too “gamey” in the tradiinal steak house that cuts corners on a post aging trim, yet here was a revelation—tender, deeply beefy, but balanced. Accompanying the dish was sous vide endive, black garlic, and a shaving of Parmesan, which surprisingly lacked the usual sharpness, instead presenting a more rounded, delicate, nutty flavor. Desserts were a study in technique and balance. The first, a Grilled Strawberry with strawberry granita and Meyer lemon crème, was bright and refreshing, its layers revealing different expressions of cool and sweetness. Then came the Coco Craquelin, a delicate choux pastry filled with beurre noisette ganache and banana cremeux, meant to be eaten with the hands—a playful and interactive moment in the meal. Finally, a Sage Basque Cake, its subtle herbaceousness complemented by toasted hemp seeds and lemon curd, provided a grounding, crispy finish. Heritage is the kind of restaurant that doesn’t simply chase trends—it refines them into something personal, something intentional. The execution is confident but never showy, and the experience is paced with precision, allowing each dish to tell its own story. This is not just a meal—it’s a quiet, profound meditation on flavor, technique, and the land from which it all comes. Where other restaurant profess to be a true “Californian” style farm to table experience , Heritage is, without a doubt, a must-visit for anyone who seeks out truly exceptional dining in California.”
“Last night we went to Speak Cheezy on 4th St at Termino. First off, EXCELLENT customer service! We had the Shroomday Button (Oyster and Maitake Mushrooms/ White Wine Braised Leeks / Truffle Cheese / house stretched mozzarella / shredded mozz / parsley / post oven of lemon zest. *We love to add Hobbs Sausage*). I added that delicious sausage and loved that pizza! We also had the Bloomsdale (garlicky bloomsdale spinach / hand stretched mozzarella / shredded mozzarella /pecorino / smoked ricotta / gaeta olive / za’atar / feta salsa verde)... and YUM! And we decided to try the Garden of Farms Little Gem Caesar Salad (little gems / kewpie caesar dressing / pizza croutons / anchovies / Ribbons of Fiscalini Gold / soft cooked egg). Again, tasty, tasty, tasty. Speak Cheezy sure seems to use high-end products in the creation of their pizzas and salads. Everything was top notch. That salad was so yummy with that incredible salad dressing and the jammy soft cooked egg. I want another one to eat with my lovely pizza leftovers. :)”

“I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting the food to be this exceptional. And that is because sometimes chain establishments are not great. However, Camille suggested a couple of dishes for us and they did not disappoint and in fact I would’ve licked the plates if it was publicly appropriate. I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy and short rib hash!!!!! Omg so delicious!! I can’t wait to come back for more!!!”

“This bar is phenomenal. NOAH IS A SAINT. Omar is pretty chill too. Sean is also top tier. The employees MAKE THIS BAR, but the ambiance and music speaks for itself. 12/20”
“Nick’s food and service doesn’t disappoint! Menu options are great, and they’ll take a classic comfort dish such as a meat loaf to a gourmet degree. Service is impecable too. Worth every dollar you spend here in every aspect! They have my respect and heart! ♥️”

“Lunch (Brunch) Saturday June 8 Been reading many glowing reviews ..R they deserved ? If all dishes as flavorful as the Lamb” Secco” Then YES Not cheap , but If I am spending $40-50 person ,the food had Better taste like this. Also good: basic Margherita Pizza. Beer list is thoughtful. Wife REALLY enjoyed her Anderson Valley Rose wine with the Lamb dish Bottom line: this cafe is worth supporting. Thanks for setting up shop in Coastal Long Beach- Naples”
“Olive Rose is truly a gem. We walked in randomly and were pleasantly surprised by such a cozy and modern space. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic from start to finish. You can feel the great leadership of Lauren Pretty behind the experience. A wonderful place that we will definitely return to.”
“Dvine Mediterranean Experience is a fantastic spot for fresh, flavorful Mediterranean food and generous portions at a fair price.
The food is consistently high quality, with tender, well-seasoned meats, creamy hummus, and fresh salads that taste like they were made to order. The family-style meal was a standout – plenty of food to share, great variety on the table, and it really felt like a feast rather than just dinner. For what you get, it’s an excellent value, especially considering the portion sizes and how satisfying every dish is.
The staff are genuinely warm and welcoming, checking in often and making sure you have everything you need without ever feeling rushed. They create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that makes it easy to linger and enjoy the meal, whether you’re with family or a group of friends. Overall, Dvine Mediterranean Experience is the kind of place you immediately want to recommend to others—and we’ll definitely be back, especially for another family meal.”
“Had a really good time with my friend group. The food was really good. I would get the enchiladas again 100%!! The asada tacos are okay. Regular asada tacos. We also got the watermelon hibiscus pitcher to share, but its honestly not strong. Very watered down. The Margarita on the other hand, very strong. I would get that instead. Guac was also very good. Overall I would definitely come back and eat here. The vibe is good, the food is good, the service needed a little help though. There was several times our table needed something and there was no server to be found. Other than that, great spot. I’ll be coming back again when I’m in town.”
“Great food and wonderful service by our waiter David. Large portions.”

“Wow!! The entire staff was so helpful and friendly! Evan the owner was so welcoming. Eggs were prepared perfectly, I know raving about scrambled eggs but honestly velvety smooth with a flaky salt finish. We ordered the chicken and waffles which were Absolutely incredible!”

“On wednesday, I went to this Subway. I was really hungry, and my mood had been terrible since morning- I had fought with everyone. When I got there, I met Mr. Ravi, an Indian guy. When I asked him for an extra scoop of tuna, he told me it would cost extra, and I got annoyed because it looked too little. I was already angry, but he handled the situation so calmly and respectfully that he actually made me laugh in the end. His service was so good that it genuinely made me want to leave a review, because he was completely right from his side. I truly salute that kind of customer service.”
“Good attitudes, good tasting sandwiches and add what you want, Convenient late hours. On one occasion when soup taken out, was too salty, the cream of broccoli .
Can get special deals if you can find the coupons, they use to send in mail
once a month or so. When in the subway mood, we go there. :)”
“The fries were cold and I was shocked. The fries are usually very fresh and hot. I had to go inside and ask for fresh fries. I also watched to make sure they didn't mix my fries with the cold ones. While I waited I noticed the same cold fries they gave me they made sure to give to the other drivers in the drive through before my fresh fries were done. Smh 🙄”
“The carnitas burrito was amazing, that's my go to, and haven't had a decent one in a long time. Meat was tender, flavor was excellent, I wanted to savor each bite, I am a critic when it comes to food , especially my favorite which is Mexican and carnitas, definitely did not disappoint. My daughter absolutely loves birria, I'll have to try it, we will order again! Thank you for great quality”
“Our first time at a Jack in the Box. It was quirky but good. The employees were friendly but the drive-thru was slow. This location seemed to be in a 'questionable' area....including a person hanging around near the drive-thru ordering board that wasn't an employee.”
“Been here countless times. A little dingey, a few bums/homeless hang out here alot. But the staff is friendly, courteous, and never have any of my orders been shorted or mixed up. That's at any hour (24hrs). Once I've had to substitute my curly fries for tacos or egg rolls, it was a win-win. All of them are highly motivated and genuinely care about the service they provide. Tip: order online you can get good specials online ordering here, download the app fools! Keep up the good work staff, this has made me hungry, later!”
“It’s a very cute and small little vegan restaurant. The taco plate is small but filling. The beans were also amazing, I highly recommend. I like that there are so many protein options as well for the tacos. I chose the mushrooms since the asada and carnitas have either a soy based protein or soy sauce. I also tried the horchata and churros with ice-cream and both were DELICIOUS. Overall the vibe is sort of a blend of modern Mexican minimalism with a dash of new age and oldies music. A little loud for my comfort level—I have sensory issues especially with noise—which might have been due to the high ceiling but I honestly think if you’re not autistic you’ll be fine. The staff were all welcoming, nice and treated the restaurant like a community space. They all made an effort to get to know the customers and they seemed like very lovely people. I arrived about 30 min before closing and they kept the kitchen open for me to have desert even after hours.
Only downside is the parking situation. Very tiny driveway, with minimal spaces and some people were blocking the spaces when I got there (probably Uber Eats and door dash drivers). So you’ll probably have to park on the street. Other than that, the food was delicious and I really think I found a gem.”

“El fin de semana celebramos la quinceañera de mi hija en Rivera's Restaurant y todo estuvo excelente. Desde el primer acercamiento George siempre fue muy amable y comprensivo con lo que esperábamos para nuestra fiesta. La decoración y sobre todo la comida y atención a nuestros invitados fue excelente. Estamos convencidos que volveriamos a tener otro evento con ellos.”
“This place is awesome. Really good food, drinks & merch. The only complaint I have is I wish people with their laptops who sit at a 4 top table alone understood how selfish that is when this place is incredibly busy. I always thought cafes should have a time limit for people with laptops or a bar set up on the wall just for people with laptops. You literally are fighting for your life for a table there on the weekends. Will still go though lol”
“Great all around food choices with excellent quality! All the staff are personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Great service with great prices!! Love Appu’s”
“The San Pedro location, unfortunately, wasn’t accepting online orders, so I made the trek to the Long Beach location. Thankfully, this location was accepting online orders, sparing me a 6 a.m. pastry pilgrimage. I scheduled a 12:45 p.m. pickup but didn’t arrive until 1:45 p.m., so I won’t fault the pastries if they weren’t piping hot.
Colossus Bakery on 2nd Street sits near some of my favorite Long Beach spots, like Holey Grail Donuts and Win-Dow. I ordered three items: a cardamom bun, kouign amann, and pecan sticky bun, eaten in that order, which also reflects my ranking.
The cardamom bun was delicious: the spice came through without overpowering the pastry. It was denser and doughier than the light, airy pastries I usually favor, but still excellent. The kouign amann was similarly dense, though each bite had a satisfying audible crispness. The pecan sticky bun lived up to its sticky reputation with plenty of nuts, though it ended up my least favorite of the three (but still very good).
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my pastries. I imagine they’d be even better fresh or warmed, and I can’t wait to work through the rest of the menu. Colossus Bakery has officially joined my elite Los Angeles/Long Beach pastry rotation. Highly recommended!”
“A hidden gem!
I ate here yesterday with my girlfriend and we got the beef noddle soup, fried fish, frog legs, and fish amok. It was all delicious! It was our first time having Cambodian food and it did not disappoint.
I'm usually picky about the asian food I like. Most asian places here in America really aren't that good but I really liked this place. I definitely recommend!”
“Love this place .. the staff there is so friendly It’s amazing they make you feel so welcomed and the food is so fresh.”
“We LOVE George’s for a quick lunch, nice dinner, or catering a party! They have been there for me for all my dining or party needs. They never disappoint. Both the food and the service is outstanding.”

“Even if not stopping on the way home, the charcoal aroma makes their asada of the best fills the street almost everyday providing comfort for us in the neighborhood. As many reviews mention the pastor, it is worth its weight in gold. I bounce back and forth getting each.
My only wish, alongside one review, is that they were on the spicier side... Definitely doesnt diminish the pure excellence of this place though and they're of the best. I'll be back soon and thank you for being in the neighborhood.”
“This place is SO good! I got the breakfast burrito and added cheese and avocado. Omg it was so big I had it for two meals. It was just as amazing for the second meal. Everyone that worked there was so nice, it had such a great family feel. A few customers came in while I was eating outside, and it was clear they were regulars - as i would be if I lived closer! Also, I dont eat meat and there were plenty of options!
There aren't any tables inside but there are a few outside with umbrellas if needed.”

“We were visiting from Seattle and wandered into Osaka Story completely by accident… which is now the best accident we’ve ever had.
The staff were so kind and friendly that we instantly felt like regulars, even though we’d just walked in off the street. The food was so good we came back the very next day like, “Hey, it’s us again, don’t mind us.” And the beef yaki udon? Chef’s kiss. Truly “I could write poetry about this noodle” levels of good.
We will absolutely be back—probably more often than is reasonable for people who don’t live here.”

“Great service! We called beforehand to confirm the kitchen would still be open, 6:30 pm on Sunday night when they close at 7 pm. Lady was super nice and kept saying of course, come in. We order ox tail noodle soup, crispy noodles with chicken and wonton noodle soup for my 2 young kids. More than enough food, each dish was between $15 and $11 and good portions each. The Lady also had a young son and the kids played at the end in the dining area bc we were the only table, which is a travesty. They should be way busier for the taste and size of their food. If you are hungry in the area, you should definitely eat here.”
“I absolutely Love Love LB Unified Bar & Lounge. If your looking for an amazing time with great music, great people, delicious food - a place to meet and network with entrepreneurs, business owners and the like- this is the place to be!!! The owner Chuckie Miller knows how to make sure everyone has the Best time!! Drinks/ Sports/ Music/ Conversation!!”
“Everything about this place is awesome! Ishmael helped us and his whole vibe was chill (in the best way possible) and kind. The tea was wonderful and the food was delicious - so.much.food. My only adjustment to the whole experience would be to turn by one quarter how people are seated at the tables. My daughter sat with her back to the door and I was facing her. The glare from outside was pretty bright so I wore my sunglasses most of the time. We probably should have just taken it upon ourselves to scoot around.”
“I live two blocks away and this bakery has single-handedly destroyed my self-control in the BEST way possible. The brownie bites (pandan, strawberry, ube-Oreo) are life-changing. I buy a box thinking “I’ll save some for later” and then 45 minutes later they’re gone and I’m happier than I’ve ever been.
These brownies are pure joy. Serotonin in dessert form. When they closed for a week after the holidays, I experienced real emotional damage.
I would take a master class, but honestly it’s safer for society if I don’t learn because I would simply become a brownie.
Also the iced vanilla oatmeal cookie? Elite. Legendary. The bomb dot com.
11/10. Five stars. Would happily lose all control again.
P.S. They’re very cute but unfortunately do not survive long enough for photos.”
“Best Turkish food that is easy flavorful consistent and never misses. I love this place”
“I love this place!! There food is absolutely amazing, as is their customer service! Recommend the mushrooms for an appetizer and bread pudding for dessert!!”
“Celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and had a fabulous dinner with amazing service.”
“We celebrated a birthday and everyone had a wonderful time. The food was great and the wait staff very attentive. The space is magical and was quiet enough that our table of 8 could all talk and hear each other!”
“I just ate here for the first time and it was incredible and I loved the non alcohol drink flight!”
“❤️🥰😁❤️😁🥰❤️😍🤩❤️😎🥳❤️ We love Enrique's and their entire family ! They are such wonderful, kind and loving people who help so many people in need and we all love their food and we love them XOXOXOXOXOXOXO Love, Chris and Larry Laulhere”

“Michelin-Level Northern Thai Street Food! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Chiang Rai is a total gem in Long Beach! Don’t let the simple exterior fool you—the inside is vibrant and quirky, and the food is some of the most authentic Northern Thai cuisine I’ve ever had.
The Khao Soi is the absolute star of the show; the curry broth is rich and complex, topped with perfectly crispy noodles. I also highly recommend the Midnight Chicken and the Sai Oua (Northern Thai Sausage) for a real taste of Chiang Rai. Everything is fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor.
It can get busy, so be prepared for a bit of a wait, but it is 100% worth it. If you’re looking for high-quality Thai food that goes way beyond the standard Pad Thai, this is the spot!”
“We ordered this takeout. I must say, even with a 15 minute drive home, the food was delicious. The food was very, very tasty and cooked to perfection. It was a little pricey but worth it.”
“Had an amazing meal in a chic and cozy booth with spot-on decor, food presentation & atmosphere. Great margaritas!”
“Best meditarranean restaurant in downtown Long Beach for sure ,this place is new and already getting popular in the area”
“This is a busy restaurant and sometimes service is a bit slow. That being said the overall experience is great. Expect good food and great cocktails with very pleasant atmosphere and staff. We dine here a few times a month and really enjoy it.”
“Claire’s at the Museum is aesthetically pleasing. The view is gorgeous, and the food is delicious! Spent my birthday here and it did not disappoint!! ❤️”
“Unbelievable experience! The entire time we felt like family and your can truly tell that the chef pours his heart and soul into his food. Tried the swordfish, pork chop, chicken and dumplings, and pasta… every dish was worthy of a Michelin star! Will definitely be back for more! Highly recommend Bar Becky!”
“Just visited the San Pedro location on Gaffey. I had the garlic shrimp - seriously delicious!!!”
“The food is amazing 10/10 but the outdoor patio dinning is awful. You cannot have a conversation because the sound echos so loudly and when the staff moves tables around they drag it along the tile and all of the tables have to stop and wait till they are done to be able to speak again with your table.”
“While traveling from Idaho we were fortunate to have brunch with our dear friends in Long Beach before heading out on a cruise. They took us to this quaint, fun restaurant. Spectacular service, delicious food, Hazelnut coffee, yum! Thanks for the very cool stickers!”
“Their approach to Mexican cuisine is like revolutionary meets grandma. Modern techniques applied to grandma's recipes and the results are flavor bombs in every bite. HIGHLY Recommend! Eat Well, Eat Often mi amigos!!”
“Such a cozy spot with a fantastic vibe! The wine selection here is impressive, offering something for every taste. Whether you're a connoisseur or just looking to enjoy a glass, you’ll find the perfect pour. It's easily one of the best bars in Long Beach, with a relaxed, inviting atmosphere that makes it the ideal place to unwind. Highly recommend it for a laid-back evening with great wine and great company!”
“Have eaten here about 10 times . This restaurant doesn’t disappoint. I’ve tried all there’s sushi roll which are always fresh and delicious.”
“Always have a great meal at Simmzy’s. I had cauliflower tacos and they were excellent (and I’m not a vegetarian). Sweet potato fries were great. I’m the past I’ve had the chicken tortilla soup- it’s one of the best! Pet and child friendly.”
“Love this place,my family and friends have been going there for years, was so bummed when it burned down but just as good after it came back, always my first choice when I get the chance to be in town, and always great”
“Great family experience for our huge group. They accommodated us in our own private room so we could visit without interrupting the rest of the diners.”
“We sat on nicely warmed outdoor patio watching the fun street scene pass us by. Creative options on the menu made it hard to choose. Exellent, beautifully presented wedge salad, seafood chowder and salmon were the winners. In the seafood chowder, at $18, we didn't expect a lot of seafood. It was more of a mushroom cream soup with delicious bread and some fish, which suited us fine. The salmon with couscous was perfectly prepared and a generous portion. The salad was also generous sized and creative. Service was excellent and non-intrusive. We parked right in front, free meter after 6 or 7pm. Fun to walk the area afterwards, see all the new places and Chapter II coffee which is open late and apparently turns into an alternative non-bar bar type scene with low lights and louder music. All in all, second street makes for a great date night.”
“Excellent service. Excellent food. Definitely returning. Thanks!”

“Service with a smile since I walked in. This is my second time for brunch and the experience was just as good as the first one. Food came quick and was delicious. I had the Vanilla Bean French Toast, a side of scrambled eggs and French press coffee. The French toast portions are quite big, so I had leftovers, of course. Would love to be back and try lunch and dinner next!”
“Dined here this evening. We enjoyed some Cocktails to start then ordered Beef Tartare, Shrimp with Veg and Roasted Carrots. Entrees varied from Pasta to Ribeye steak and Burger. All delicious. The Carbonara needed more bacon but that was the only issue. Desserts were great. The Espresso wasn’t hot enough for my guest but overall we enjoyed the evening celebrating a birthday. Will recommend to my friends for sure. Would recommend a reservation as it was very busy by the time we left at 6.30 pm”
“amazing food and service! My husband and I used to live nearby and always came when it was Tai Silk. We now live in San Pedro but we'll be back for sure.”
“Jassy’s Sweets & Eats was recommended to us by our friends and neighbors, and we are so happy they did! I was able to use Jassy’s Sweets for my partner’s surprise 40th birthday casino-themed dessert table and everything was a hit. I ordered the red velvet shooters, vanilla cupcakes, and the assortment of a dozen cookies-chocolate chip, chocolate chip pecan, and double chocolate chip. Everything was gone before the party was over! Cimone was the most professional, kind, and responsive vendor, and delivery was a breeze. We can’t wait to order from her again!”
“Very pleasant experience here! From the friendly accommodating staff, to the very delicious well prepared fish, it was a treat!! Best fish I’ve ever had! I look forward to coming back! 5⭐️”

“Amazing place! The food was so delicious and the staff was amazing! We brought our pups and the staff gave them little cups of water and a little bit of brisket as a treat! Will definitely come here again!”
““This place has a beautiful view and great food, but what truly made the experience exceptional was the service. Our waitress, RENEEE, welcomed us with a warm smile and an amazing personality. She was very knowledgeable and took the time to clearly explain all of our food options, making our dining experience even more enjoyable.””
“Quick and tasty? Fresh and affordable? Authentic and accommodating? This is the spot when you want a meal that fits all of those categories. Each dish has rich flavor and abundant spices without feeling heavy. I love the papaya salad, curries with tofu, and every dish pairs perfectly with the dedicated service. It’s phenomenal when the front of house and back of house work together seamlessly in a restaurant and this is certainly true for Long Beach Thai. They also have Thai market items like durian, stuffed pumpkin, and sweet treats for purchase at the counter. The servers are very good at letting you know that a dish has peanuts in it and asking if you have an allergy. They run an equally efficient dine-in experience as they do for carry out. Love to support businesses that offer consistency of this caliber. Check them out!”
“Today was our first time here...and OMGosh...it did not disappoint! Friends & family have recommended Los Compadres and finally got to try this place! Food was sooo DELICIOUS, friendly atmosphere, customer service was EXCELLENT! We definitely will be going back...we cant wait to try other food on the menu...totally recommend it!”
“Randomly dropped by this hole in the wall and got the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles).
Food was amazing. Vibes / music was pretty cool too. 10/10 recommend.”
“Really great food. The best place to have breakfast, lunch and all around good eats.”
“We were visiting in Long Beach from Colorado because we had to dog sit our grandog for 2 weeks. We love coffee and our Broncos. That weekend they were playing the Bills. We stumbled upon Altar Society and watched the second half of the game there. When we walked in wearing our Broncos gear there was another local young couple there wearing theirs. They immediately clapped as we walked in so we sat next to the table next to theirs to have appetizers and a dessert. It was a fun game to watch with other fans. The food was good. The next morning, we walked over there to check out their Coffee since we noticed that they also offer coffee and muffins. What a unique concept. We need an Altar Society near us in Colorado. GO Broncos!”
“Came by on a whim through a recommendation from chatGPT lol. I was craving pasta. I ordered the one that starts with a T and my daughter ordered the one that starts with a P hehe. I can't remember the names! The pasta tasted fresh and the sauce was obviously cooked for a long time and tasty. I would come back and try another dish.”
“Great restaurant and food. Will be a great addition to the Valley!”
“Came here for a business dinner and was seated outside on a beautiful evening. Started off with a mix of oysters and the Cevichos. Both were excellent. Then the 5 of us went different directions for our mains, but my Squid Ink Linguini was top notch! Our server this evening was Chase K. He did excellent and we would love to come back here. Really good restaurant!”
“Good fresh food. I had the Far East Bowl with sesame chickin it was very good. I will be eating here again real soon.”
“I drive by this place all the time. It's right off the 405 freeway. And I finally got to try this place. I ordered the #8 Supreme plate. It came with a small lobster tail and Angus steak which were both nice and tender. It also came with fried rice which was good and buttery. It came with mixed vegetables: onions, carrots, and zucchini. I really enjoyed the service here. The guy working the cash register was extremely nice and attentive. He made sure everyone in there was properly taken care of. I really enjoyed this place and I can't wait to come back here and try other items on their menu.”
“Fabulous restaurant in an elegant old style European decor. really miss it now that I no longer live in Long Beach”
“We had a great time. The food drinks and service were perfect. Lee made the evening.”

“THIS PLACE IS AMAZING in the best possible way. Today I went for lunch with my 90 year old mother, my wife, and our two teenagers - a pretty diverse group, and not real easy to please. Everybody was extremely happy with what they ordered - the only complaint was from my wife, saying afterwards that she had "eaten too much" but couldn't stop because it was so delicious! She had the "heart stopper" burger, which includes bacon and a fried egg. My son and I often split two plates so we can try more things, and the pastrami sandwich and Frisco burger were both GREAT. I should have ordered the Pastrami on grilled rye - personal preference - but the roll it was served on was still very fresh. My daughter ordered the pastrami as well, and she loved hers. Grandma got the Reuben, and is looking forward to finishing it for dinner (huge sandwich for an old lady). We also tried the fried zucchini - best I've had in many years. Great fries and onion rings as well. I think that this may have just become our new family joint for a quick bite. My only regret is that I didn't find it earlier...... I spoke briefly with the manager, and he was really nice - working hard, because of the lunch rush, but was clearly committed to providing great food and great service.”
“YUMMYLICIOUS! You want a good beefy burger, perfectly season and portioned properly.. Dude, stop by and get a real FATTY Burger and the varieties are spectacular. You mouth buds and tummy will sing a happy song. Just orders the Peyton and I am salivating already. ENJOY!”
“Tarantella on 4th in Long Beach is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, it feels less like a restaurant and more like stepping into a vibrant art gallery—every corner is full of personality and creative energy. The food is on another level—freshly made daily, and you can truly taste the difference in every bite. It’s the kind of place where quality and care shine through in every dish. If you're looking to unwind, the outdoor patio is a hidden oasis—intimate, relaxing, and perfect for enjoying a great meal with friends or family. Owners Carlos & Megan have created something really special here: a warm, family-friendly spot with amazing food and genuinely excellent service that makes you feel right at home. Yes, parking in the area can be a bit of a challenge—but trust me, it’s absolutely worth the effort. Tarantula on 4th is one of those places you’ll keep coming back to!those places you’ll keep coming back to!”

“I have heard of SPFM before and wanted to go. We tried to go before our cruise, but it was closing. Made it a point to go as soon as we got off the cruise, we'll after the USS Iowa tour and was blown away!! Very good!!! The staff are all friendly and the food was amazing!! But be careful, the shrimp plate is not for the light eater. I am fully stuffed! Highly Recommend!! Thank You SPFM!”
“Loved this place! It’s perfect to celebrate any occasion or just to have a girls day. I enjoyed the decorations as well as all the photo props. The drinks were perfect, from the presentation to the taste. Food was excellent, they have a variety of options with out the overwhelming menu, basically straight to the point. The complimentary boat ride was so fun. Overall had a great experience and will definitely be coming back.”
“We love this place. The food and service seems to keep getting better and better. Especially since they opened the other side. Also, their margaritas are amazing. On Monday they are 2.99 - I would get Uber. lol
Honeslty, though it’s the outside dining that really makes the experience. The bay and the boats are so nice. It’s a beautiful place to enjoy some good Mexican food. Also, if you like to sit in a booth this place is for you because they have a ton. They are comfortable and definitely give you the space for a good conversation. I would definitely recommend it.”

“Very friendly service, food was good, the chopped cheese was NY style and delicious. The best part of the experience was the friendly lady that had a genuine and open style. She obviously wanted me to enjoy the sandwich and asked questions to make sure I got what I wanted.”
“chicken perfection, but questionable wait time; got the single tender option, not too crisp, very juicy-tender with a lovely spring of flavour that plays nicely with the bread and serves as a solid base for the tangy-savory sauce. now the wait was way too long for such a simple order, and the place wasn't even busy? still, the chicken is good enough to come back for 😛”
“The flour tortilla that they use for their burritos was delicious and authentic. ( it reminded me of the ones my grandmother made). The ingredients of their burritos were high quality. The chile verde chicken was a bit too tart for my palette. The rest of the items, beans, eggs etc were delicious. The cafe de olla was a bit too sweet. I will ask for a latte next time. The staff was very helpful and friendly.”
“Menu is curated to blow your mind. Time and time again, I come and try something new that makes me think, “I didn’t know X/Y/Z could even taste like this”. Chef Yoya and his team are doing something very special here. The food speaks for itself. Have yet to try something I haven’t absolutely loved. I can easily say this is by far my favorite restaurant in Long Beach and definitely in my top 3 in the world. Service is amazing too.”
“Stopped in for a quick lunch after leaving the port and was expecting a typical mom & pop spot, but this place went way beyond that. The service was fantastic, and the food was even better. The fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned just right, and the chicken sandwich was packed with flavor. Honestly, when a meal is this good, you don’t mind spending a few extra bucks for something above average. Great experience all around—thanks, guys!”
“My sister and I were visiting from Atlanta last week for her birthday and we decided to get a few drinks from Tokyo Noir. The vibe was excellent and the drinks were phenomenal. I just have to give our bartender, Dylan, high praise. He was personable and his drink recommendations were spot on. Thanks Dylan for helping us have a wonderful time!! I highly recommend.”
“Great lunch experience with my wife. The black garlic ramen was excellent. It tastes so good and good portion. Price is reasonable. Leo, owner is very humble and accomodating. Great customer service from Leo and his employee. Recommend this place to friend and families. Indoor seating for approx. 20+. Parking is free. Great ambiance. Restroom is for customer only and it is very clean and maintained clean.”
“I absolutely love this bakery! It's one of the few places where my daughter, who has egg and nut allergies, can safely enjoy delicious treats. It means so much to us to have a spot that celebrates our culture and lets my daughter feel included as she enjoys a fresh pastry in the morning. The young woman who assisted us was incredibly kind, and we can't wait to come back!”
“We ordered the pesto, sausage and mushroom risotto, arancini and the cannolis. Everything was absolutely delicious and made with care. The main dishes were made fresh while we waited. The canollis were filled when we ordered them which kept the shells crispy. The details matter which makes their food amazing. And the owner and son are so nice. Great place. We will be back.”
