“Seriously, the Cambodian Dirt are the best wings I have ever had in my life, and I’m 58 years old and love wings. The Dirty Elvis is a close second and they need to have wet naps available even though you end up licking your fingers. The noodles and fried rice are tasty, too. The Coca-Cola is balanced perfectly. I’d put them up against McDonald’s. But don’t sleep on the Chicken Wings. They are really the best!”

We had the Shroomday Button (Oyster and Maitake Mushrooms/ White Wine Braised Leeks / Truffle Cheese / house stretched mozzarella / shredded mozz / parsley / post oven of lemon zest. *We love to add Hobbs Sausage*). I added that delicious sausage and loved that pizza! We also had the Bloomsdale (garlicky bloomsdale spinach / hand stretched mozzarella / shredded mozzarella /pecorino / smoked ricotta / gaeta olive / za’atar / feta salsa verde)... and YUM! And we decided to try the Garden of Farms Little Gem Caesar Salad (little gems / kewpie caesar dressing / pizza croutons / anchovies / Ribbons of Fiscalini Gold / soft cooked egg). Again, tasty, tasty, tasty. Speak Cheezy sure seems to use high-end products in the creation of their pizzas and salads. Everything was top notch. That salad was so yummy with that incredible salad dressing and the jammy soft cooked egg. I want another one to eat with my lovely pizza leftovers. :)”

Not too spicy, not too watery. Everything else was equally authentic and delicious. The handmade tortillas make the experience unique.
The service was wonderful and we met Jesus, the chef, who takes great pride in his cooking. Worth visiting! Even if the location and humble look of the place are deceiving, it’s worth visiting!”

“We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.”

“Popped into the Belmont Shore location on a Friday about 7pm. Seated quickly, ambiance nice. Casual pickup side and a dining room.
Interesting menu. Checked out the anchovies on crostini- the sauce overwhelmed the anchovy. The bread basket was delightful albeit you must choose either focaccia or sourdough. Why not one slice of each? Wonderfully toasted (with olive oil) but made me wonder why it was toasted as one gets butter and olive oil to dip the bread in. The lamb pork belly skewers are small but delicious and great with the tzatziki sauce. The highlight was the Panzenella Salad. The soft cheese, fresh tomatoes, basil and crisp croutons were wonderful.
Service was a bit mixed. Why leave us with 2 menus and the drink menu with so little room on our tables. Please don’t take away dishes that still have even a morsel left with today’s prices. I will go back.”

“On wednesday, I went to this Subway. I was really hungry, and my mood had been terrible since morning- I had fought with everyone. When I got there, I met Mr. Ravi, an Indian guy. When I asked him for an extra scoop of tuna, he told me it would cost extra, and I got annoyed because it looked too little. I was already angry, but he handled the situation so calmly and respectfully that he actually made me laugh in the end. His service was so good that it genuinely made me want to leave a review, because he was completely right from his side. I truly salute that kind of customer service.”

“I finally have a local, good, and cost effective place near my house. So far I’ve had their cheese burger and fish ceviche. The burger was big and juicy. The fries were great. The fish ceviche was spiced so if you don’t like spice like me, ask them to put the vinaigrette on the side and add to your liking. But a good overall place that I recommend. They also do take out and call in for pick up. They do Door Dash and Grub hub too.”

The highlight of our meal was definitely the Isaw (pig intestine BBQ), which was delicious and cooked just right. However, there were a couple of notable downsides: as a Kapampangan, I know what authentic sisig should taste like, and their version definitely needs some improvement to hit the mark. Additionally, my brother and our birthday celebrant were disappointed that they weren't serving any beer during our visit for reasons that weren't clear to us. It’s a fun spot for live music and traditional Filipino dishes, but a few tweaks to the food and bar service would make for a much better experience!”

“The Royal Sunday Brunch aboard the Queen Mary was worth looking forward to from the moment we stepped inside. Sitting in such a historic ocean liner while enjoying brunch gave the whole experience a unique atmosphere you just don't find at a typical restaurant. The dining room had an elegant, old-world feel with polished wood, large windows, and plenty of natural light. I enjoyed taking my time walking through the buffet because there was such a wide variety of fresh seafood, made-to-order omelets, carved meats, pastries, desserts, and just about anything else you could be craving.
One of my favorite parts was lingering over the meal instead of feeling rushed. Between courses, I'd glance out toward the harbor or admire the ship itself, imagining the countless voyages and passengers that had crossed the Atlantic aboard this legendary liner. The staff kept everything running smoothly and made the experience feel relaxed from start to finish. My only advice is to arrive hungry... and maybe wear pants with a little extra forgiveness. The history, the setting, and the food make this a brunch that's easy to remember long after the last bite.”

“THIS PLACE IS AMAZING in the best possible way. Today I went for lunch with my 90 year old mother, my wife, and our two teenagers - a pretty diverse group, and not real easy to please. Everybody was extremely happy with what they ordered - the only complaint was from my wife, saying afterwards that she had "eaten too much" but couldn't stop because it was so delicious! She had the "heart stopper" burger, which includes bacon and a fried egg. My son and I often split two plates so we can try more things, and the pastrami sandwich and Frisco burger were both GREAT. I should have ordered the Pastrami on grilled rye - personal preference - but the roll it was served on was still very fresh. My daughter ordered the pastrami as well, and she loved hers. Grandma got the Reuben, and is looking forward to finishing it for dinner (huge sandwich for an old lady). We also tried the fried zucchini - best I've had in many years. Great fries and onion rings as well. I think that this may have just become our new family joint for a quick bite. My only regret is that I didn't find it earlier...... I spoke briefly with the manager, and he was really nice - working hard, because of the lunch rush, but was clearly committed to providing great food and great service.”

“Victory Shawarma is truly the best in LA OC SD. I didn’t know what to expect after my friend told me six months ago this truck visiting in LBC. I finally had a chance a couple Fridays ago and let me tell you the Shawarma was juicy, delicious, scrumptious, tender, flavorful, spirited, hearty, tasty, savory, and yummy. Fadi and Joyce are very warm people and I appreciated their smiles. I will definitely be back with friends as the truck will be in my hometown this month yeeeeeeeeeeeee!
