“I love this place, they have a good happy hour and their drinks are stiff! Super friendly staff and nice patio vibes. My only issue is that sometimes they run out of food. They have different events throughout the week, so check their website before you stop on by.“
“We love this place. My wife and i have been here a couple of times and have brought our daughter.Friendly service , really good food. Staff is amazing. Drinks are really good. And its owned by Christopher Reece of Social D. Awesome personality and cares about his customers. They get good bands to play live. Fish and chips are a staple.Very clean. We love it here.Kid-friendliness: Kids and teens are welcomed. Pet friendly.“
“I can't believe I haven't written a review here yet! (Thought I did!) Anyway, first came here last year for my sister's friend/band member's birthday party! (Jordan) And some of his art work was displayed for sale. It was pretty fun! The DJ booth looks cool! The giant screen allowed them to play their new music video for their band called Wamdingis! (Check them out!) That night was lit! Thank you to the bar tenders & chef! The fried cheese curds were unforgettable! Came back here another time with a girlfriend because she was sad about her guy. Anyway, we ordered the tater tots (yummy!) & some seltzer drinks. I sang a song for Karaoke night on Sunday. We also ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and added bacon! Omg! So glad we split it! That was too good! Then we bar hopped a little before going home. Tonight, I was supposed to help my sister's band with merch at the Santa Ana art walk but they finished before I got there so I turned around and went home and Lyfted here. Ordered the garlic lemon pepper wings & cheese curds! Mmmm! So good! Highly recommended! The kitchen is open until 1 or 2am! Woohoo! So this is def a 2-in-1 spot! Parking sucks on the streets so just Lyft here! Maybe I'll see you guys around!“
“A neighborhood favorite! Amazing people work here I always feel at home #vibesonpoint. I come for the quality food and great service. Today I asked for the sweet potato sub instead of French fries and they had SWEET PATATO WAFFEL CUT FRIES #inlove. They need to keep those on the menu! Camilla is my favorite and provides the best customer service. Dogz is the place to be.“
“Absolutely amazing food, you can’t find this quality at two to three times these prices. I had the Angel hair pasta special with cream sauce, chicken and seafood. The portion was huge, the pasta was perfect, loaded with seafood, excellent cheese, garlic bread and a couple of whiskeys, run here, don’t walk.“
“Nice to be able to set outside, have a Guinness, cocktail and a bite to eat. Tuesday special Hamburgers buy one get one free. Is some of the best Hamburgers in town. The Gallagher is my usual. However, last night I had the Blue Cheese Burger with real Blue Cheese. It was excellent with lots of flavor. Our server was a little busy but kept checking back and offered more drinks when needed. Of course the Guinness is the only beer that I really enjoy. Guinness is like having a double espresso and a good cigar. Please make sure to tip on the original amount of the bill before the Burger discount.Parking: Street parking on Broadway is a little hard to find at times. There is more parking on the side streets. Plenty of areas for bike parking.“
“We have been to Gaslamp about five times now to see our favorite Rage Against the Machine tribute band, Renegades of Rage. They never disappoint. This time there were two other tribute bands opening for them. Tribute band for Nirvana, Nirvanish was better than I remember from seeing them once before. The lead singer must have been a trance medium. Because all I seen and heard was Kurt Cobain. They also sang a Filter song, Hey Man, Nice Shot, that is in my favorites playlist. The owner of Gaslamp came out on stage to preform in a tribute band for Smashing Pumpkins called The Great Pumpkin! What an extremely pleasant surprise! We've watched them before and I don't remember being this impressed. We sounded so much like Billy Corrigan! Their drummer flew in from I'm not sure where but I'm sure glad that he did. Awesome drummer! Renegades! We love you guys! Johnny, Diego, Jeff and Mike...I'll never get tired of hearing you guys and watching your shows. If I can't get RATM, I'll take Renegades any day, any time, always! We were there with our son and daughter in law celebrating my hubby's 51st bday. The band made him feel special by giving a shout out for his bday! If you haven't seen Renegades before, I can't stress enough that you should find their next show and watch out for the mosh pit! We did not eat here, but Renegades lead singer Johnny did recommend them. Hubby wanted Tamales from Angie's in Norwalk instead. The drinks are comparably priced. Good wait staff. Bathrooms were clean and we'll stocked when we got there. The dance floor was not sticky, just a pet peeve for me.“
“This place is amazing. The view is spectacular. The food portions are great and the prices are fair. There’s also “Plato” the robot who brings your food to your table which is a fun experience! Our waiter was Miguel and he was also the bartender! He was the best!!“
“Why you should go: bottomless mimosas, brunch/dinner with a show, and supporting the local drag community!! Our party of 6 made reservations for brunch on a Saturday and we had a blast celebrating my friend's birthday. Be sure to read through the website and you'll have all your questions answered about the menu, showtimes, and making a reservation. We felt that the talent for our show had some performances that were great, some lacked a little bit of energy, and overall the song choices were a little out dated. We were there to make the most of it and played along, so it was really a fun time! *Pro tip: be sure to bring cash, and if you need one dollar bills they will come by and exchange them for you.As far as the food goes, it is expensive but remember - you are paying for a dinner and a show... an experience, not too mention keeping businesses like this running. The burgers are great but DO NOT order the breakfast burrito. I'm serious, don't be tempted... it is not good.I personally would love to see the decor even more glammed up and cleaner, but it was cute. The waiting music was great and there were definitely some hit songs mixed into the performances and we would've loved even more of that. All and all, please go and have fun!! Hoping this place is around for a long time!Kid-friendliness: Not kid-friendly“
“Not your father's Nugget Grill and Pub. Back in the early 90s the Nugget was the on campus spot for reasonably priced pizza and beer. I found myself on campus this morning, so we decided to go to the Nugget for breakfast. I ended up ordering a breakfast bowl @ the price of $7.99. It was filling, but not remarkable.BTW, if you wonder sometimes if getting a degree is worth the effort. The answer is yes! Do it!“
“I was invited by a running club who just finished a beer mile and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I got great service, stiff drinks, and food was delicious. I got some wings offered to me and boy were they juicy and flavorful. I ordered the Philly cheese steak with sweet potato fries and also added a side of regular fries to compare and of course share. Really nice ambiance for sports and if you have a kid, they got a little room for them. I'll have to come back cause apparently they are know for the jambalaya“
“Our favorite neighborhood hang right now! Riley's never disappoints. I love the Watermelon Margarita. They have a decent beer selection. All the food is excellent! The Poke Wonton Tostadas and Ceviche are delicious and reliable appetizers. The Strawberry Goat Cheese Salad and the Steak Salad are two of my favorites. They serve very, very good pizzas and burgers. But my absolute all time favorite item on the Riley's menu is the Smash Burger. This burger is perfect in every way!!! If you haven't checked Riley's out yet, I recommend you do.“
