“Great place to see local and touring bands. Not a lot of seating options. Only one bathroom stall for the ladies room. The drinks are priced "Hollywood style" but they're really friendly. It has a large parking structure in the back of the establishment. The sign is really small to see so unless you know this place, you might miss it on the first visit“

“I performed a Blues concert there this week in their large music hall & library with bar which adjoins a very busy bar room playing old school
recorded R&B. It's a lively and fun place to hang. There's cocktails, beer, music and pool tables. A diverse friendly crowd. They let you Postmate or bring food. There's even an outdoor patio.“

“So CHEAP! For being one of the only legit sports bars with DJs and Karaoke and really good food, they’re really affordable and have the best specials in the Gardena area on top of that. They have 2 happy hours ! Early and long hours Happy hour from 12-5pm and happy hour from 6-8pm. But other than that they have different specials every day and flash specials like $10 Don Julio shots on karaoke nights. Thursday and Sunday are karaoke nights and they have different DJs every month. $5 margaritas on Monday and Wednesday, $6 Cazadores and Mexican beers on Tuesdays and the best taco Tuesday specials! $4 wine and champagne Wednesday nights. “I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting the food to be this exceptional. And that is because sometimes chain establishments are not great. However, Camille suggested a couple of dishes for us and they did not disappoint and in fact I would’ve licked the plates if it was publicly appropriate. I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy and short rib hash!!!!! Omg so delicious!! I can’t wait to come back for more!!!“

“I used to come here all the time for years and this was my first time back since the pandemic..

I had some lemon pepper wings which were good.. But that was the only food I had so can't really talk about food so much..
The drink menu was a lot different than it was under the previous ownership.. but I opted for wine so I can't speak to any of the mixed drinks.

They still have the music which is pretty much the only reason I ever went. I caught the tail end of the led zeppelin cover band which is totally not my thing.. Never been a fan of heavy metal...it's s very loud for no reason but the audience clearly came to see them and loved them..

After them comes the reggae, which is what I came for and in times past it was an entire band which is what I thought I was going to go see, but it was only one guy doing music.. And for it to only be one guy, it took him a long time to get set up and started..

Solo guy wasn't really my thing, you can't really bring it like a band can..We stayed for one song and left..

The inside atmosphere is pretty much the same as it's always been, you know. Lots of cool people having a good time but the music selection for this time around just wasn't for me...

My suggestion would be to update the Facebook page with who the artists are for each weekend to save people the hassle who don't want to come here's certain bands or people.. Maybe try like some of the restaurants like Spagettini and Kobe's and have a music menu calendar so it's clear to people who they're coming to see..
A good R & B cover band would be a good addition to the music rotation..

On a side note, there has been a older gentleman that I have seen come there for years..he totally gives hippie who was at woodstock and had one too many shrooms, he pretty much stands in one spot and jumps around but it was good to see that he's still alive and well and doing the same thing!!

But for those wondering how it is under the new management it's still the exact same thing.. Good people, good vibes, and it's at the beach so, you will have a good time no matter what.“

“Nice walk-up bar with great food at the pool deck area at the Ritz-Carlton, Marina Del Rey. The staff is very friendly and helpful; they have numerous servers walking the pool deck to take orders, deliver eats & drinks and make sure the guests stay well-fed and hydrated! They also have outdoor seating at the restaurant patio, some with a fire pit. During our few days staying at this property, they came around about once an hour with free samples of drinks and snacks to try, which was really nice.“

“Let me tell you about the melody Bar. The misses chose this spot for date night; constantly saying when she use to work in the area years ago, here and a co-worker would go there for lunch. We paid the cover charge and entered. The place was pact with people having a good ole time eating food, having drinks and giving to the old school hip-jop/r&b music. We sat at our time and were immediately were greeted and took our orders. We hade a couple drinks to go alongside our burgers.

Let me tell you something. If you are a burger guru, you need to hit up this spot. One of the best burgers I've ever had in my life. Everyone was friendly and the music had you in a great mood. If we didn't have other plans after, we would of been there until they close. Definitely will have to check out this spot again.“
