“Fun place and great location“

“Neat little bar/grill. Stopped by after an event near the pier.

I had the Tahini Rice Bowl with falafel. The rice and veggies were cooked well with the tahini adding just a bit of an edge. The falafel was tasty. My companion had an avocado caesar with chicken. She remarked that the Caesar dressing was delicious without being overwhelming.“

“Usually hotel food is alright, so we decided to play it safe and get a burger and it was actually really good. The patty was juicy, and everything was very flavorful. The fries were also really good, crispy, and well seasoned. Not sure about the rest of the menu, but I would definitely get the burger and fries here again.“

“The most recent owners have really done a lot to make this a place I want to chill out in. The food has really been stepped up, like I'm still thinking about fried pickles I had last night. It's still bar food, but the execution is tip top and it's not outrageously priced. You won't feel like you're wasting your money, nor will you feel like you're overspending. Service is always really cool and sweet.“

“Historic bar. Been there many times over the decades. Staff is friendly. Going the day to see all the decorations inside and sit at a table and have a late lunch. Go at night for drinks. Check out Over the Rainbow at night if it is open. It’s the upstairs bar, stairs next to bathrooms. Bartender at inside bar always has some stories.“

“UBG is the best place for great food and drinks and the best music scene around town. The owner Greg and the entire staff are awesome. It is homey but also Hollywood flavor! So many great events here. Any day of the week you can be sure to find something cool happening here. My band Bonnie Brae has made it a home away from home and just LIVE it here. So much great live music and variety! Comedy-jams-original music-you name it it all happens here.“

Great happy hour with nice beer and snack options. Nothing like a big 24oz beer for $10 in the Gundo! The happy hour boneless wings were only $5, but they were very unremarkable. The Daou cab sav was great, but for $15 a glass.
The place is very dog friendly which may make you more or less happy about that element. Our server, was an efficient and precocious lass named KarenM, and we quite enjoyed our brief chat with her.

“This is a nice place to relax and unwind. They have TVs behind the bar playing NFL games. I only wish they served food. They're supposed to be working on making that happen. I wish them luck as this is a nice place and some food would make it perfect.“

“It was really nice meeting friends here. There is free parking for the bar on the left side, and there is meter parking on the right side. The bartender was super friendly and good at her job even when she got slammed with a wave of customers on Saturday night. The prices were very reasonable and I don't think we had to pay to play pool. The bar patrons were also very friendly and a very nice crowd. I highly recommend Summer's Sports Bar ??

Parking: There is a free parking lot on one side, and the other side is a nice big metered parking lot. There are a lot of signs at the free parking, so at first it looks like you can't park there, but one of the signs says that there is 2 hour free parking for that building where the bar is at. If the lot attendant is there, just tell him you are going to Summer's Sports Bar. The lot attendant leaves at 6pm, I think, so nobody is there to keep track of the 2 hour free parking. In other words, you can park there for as long as you want for the rest of the night for free.“

“My first time here. I will be back to try new menu items. Today was the Elvis blue cheese wings. Gotta good kick to it. The Buffalo wing sauce is infused with crumbled blue cheese. Not a blue cheese fan, but had to try it. It was good. The blue cheese wasn't over powering and it made a nice combination. The atmosphere was lively and a live band was setting up. Bar was clean, cool decor. Staff was awesome and the people were welcoming.

“UK plane geeks visited late September and wow can I say this is probably our favourite place to plane spot and chill out.

This establishment is made for all. The museum side for people interested in military and the history (this goes upstairs as well) Play area outside for the children (sorry adults were not allowed on it!! ?) nice big bar. Lots of old planes and seeing a DC3 is absolutely incredible, it’s a sight you can’t get bored of.
We stayed in LA 17th to the 27th of September and didn’t discover this place until the 21st. We literally came back every day other than 2 days. 27th we were heading home and one day we landed from Phoenix late at night! Otherwise we would be here!

Food is extremely good. Skin on fries is a personal favourite. A few of things I add was the BBQ Burger, the chicken salad, and The pizza with the beef brisket on. Wow and wow it’s incredible! The sofas also have so many options and all the flavours actually give you the flavours like vanilla sodas.

Added extra for people with Buggys/strolers of if you have a disability. Ramp access into the building, viewing the planes as well as coming into the food court. This place caters for literally everyone!

Only niggle is that it doesn’t stay open as long midweek! Otherwise we’d stay until it shut then as well! Nice big car park friendly staff. This is Thee spot to go to if you haven’t already.

For the aircraft geeks like myself. Great landing photos. You can see what’s coming in far side. Can just about full frame widebodies with a 500 lens. Can distinctly tell the different airlines.

“I really wanted to try this place since I love the Simpsons, and most of all I really wanted to love it, BUT although the place looks straight out of the Simpsons, the food is not that great, it really lacks flavor, though I gotta give it to them for presentation.“

“Nice walk-up bar with great food at the pool deck area at the Ritz-Carlton, Marina Del Rey. The staff is very friendly and helpful; they have numerous servers walking the pool deck to take orders, deliver eats & drinks and make sure the guests stay well-fed and hydrated! They also have outdoor seating at the restaurant patio, some with a fire pit. During our few days staying at this property, they came around about once an hour with free samples of drinks and snacks to try, which was really nice.“
