“Polish girl checking in! Grew up with Polish food made by my mom and grandmother, and had a craving. SO happy to find this place. The food was incredible and authentic, the service was lovely, and the space is beautiful. Hidden gem in Santa Monica. I'll definitely be going back. Seems like a cool place just to hang out too, love the outdoor patio.Pro tip: If you're ever feeling under the weather, order their pickle soup! I've had it delivered twice while I was sick, and I swear it has cured me both times, lol. Ultimate comfort food. Might be my favorite soup in the world! Also love love love the bigos, and my non-Polish boyfriend loved it too! (His first true Polish food experience!)“
“So nice I had it twice! Stopped in on a whim earlier this week and just had to come back today. My first visit I asked for the half order of guacamole and chips with my lunch, but it didn’t arrive. No big deal, I wasn’t charged for it and the rest of my food filled me up. Both times the tacos were excellent, wait staff were friendly and attentive.“
“Started the visit with bad vibe. They did not like my "look" and were suspicious that I would not be spending enough money to make my presence profitiable. Within 10 min, the bartender and I came to an understanding. Over $100 later we were great friends. Really good food and decent drinks. I recommend the civeche and the yellow tail.“
“Cozy, unique spot with great food and beverages, friendly hosts and waiters. Pile on the thrill of famous past visitors, and it makes for a full-package experience. Squeeze into the standing room, call ahead to reserve a table, or take your chances and see what luck brings you.“
“Don't expect white linen tablecloths and fime stemware, just the best authentic California-Mexican food in LA and great table service from ample caring, knowledgeable wait staff. They have been serving the same style of food in the same location for about 50 years.“
“Only hard kombucha! The staff was so kind, helpful, and really cool. We got a flight of six to try the different flavors, they were all delicious! The vibes were really cool; simple, chill interior with plenty of space to sit and talk with friends. I think I saw other people bringing in Hamburgers from another place to eat while sitting to drink. I can’t wait to go back.“
“I love the Galley! Solid Santa Monica Hole in a Wall since 1934. I love their Happy Hour - 3-7pm - which features delicious fish tacos, fried chicken sandwich, burger, calamari, discounted beer, wine, and galley cocktails.Truly enjoyed my ribeye, best served with broccolini or the classic mushrooms. Excellent service, regulars, and vibes every time. Strongly recommend.“
“My first time at the Santa Monica location was Friday night March 1. OMG what a great experience. First off Damien who reserved two seats for me because of my back issues seemed to know me when I walked in. Impressive since I have never met him before. He made me and my guest feel so welcomed. Fixed some great drinks too. As I was leaving after the great night of music, Damien told me and my guest if there is a band we are coming there to see again contact him and he'll hook us up. More music venues can learn from Damien on how to provide quality customer service to patrons. Our waitress's niceness and quality service matched her incredible beauty. More clubs waitresses can learn from her on how to provide excellent customer service. Loved the experience.“
“A pub located on Santa Monica Beach, about 30 minutes by Uber from Los Angeles International Airport.Light music plays, and you can watch sports such as the NBA on the screen. There are many craft beers available, and the medium size of $11 can be considered a large size for Japanese people. Fish and chips also come in half sizes. (lol)There were three options for the tip at checkout: 18%, 20%, and 25%, or you could customize it by writing it yourself. When I visited Las Vegas over 10 years ago, it was 10, 15, 20%. . This may also be due to the effects of inflation.“
“Always chill, even on occasion people are friendly and talkative. Can play pool or darts or other games. I like the decore, pennies under resin on the oak bar, bathrooms are nice since the refurbishing. Prime Pizza walking distance (a lil far but not bad). Park across the street. Coffee place I haven’t been to a few doors down that closes shortly after this place opens. Lazy Daisy breakfast location right next door. Street parking at meters, or park down in the neighborhood south on the cross streets, not far at all. Sometimes I park and jog at the park then stop here. Also I like the jukebox app they got going. There’s also back alley parking and entrance. They just started offering pretzel, dog, snacks, I used to have to go to grey block pizza, now prime pizza. There are other Mexican, fast food, and 7/11 joints nearer. There’s a Whole Foods less than a block away too.“
“We loved everything about our visit - the steak was cooked perfectly, sides were delicious (including the award-winning onion rings), and the ambiance of an old world LA steakhouse with great music and furnishings. All of the staff was excellent and friendly to us too. I definitely will return regularly!“
“Ordered the halibut and it was delicious. I loved the sides- we got shoshito peppers + corn and also the butternut squash. The squash could have been seasoned better but the sauce they brought us made up for that. The truffle aioli was my favorite. Cocktails were excellent. There are some sweeter mixed drinks on the menu- we chose to order them for dessert.“
“THIS IS REAL PIZZA ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️LIKE NEW YORK“FORGET ABOUT IT”THE BESTTHEY GET THE CRUSTTHE WHITE CHEESETHEY GOT IT ALLMUAH ? FINALLY PIZZA I CAN ENJOY AGAIN. PERFECT. KILLER GREAT!!!!Kid-friendliness: Child and pet friendly welcomed allWheelchair accessibility: Easy for disabledGreat location“
“Intimate, cozy space connected to a hotel, open late (till 2am) making it feel like an actual bar.I enjoy their beer selection - limited but all great choices - and their cocktails are pricey but delicious. Also had their calamari in the past, but usually stick to drinks.“
“It's rare to find places in Santa Monica that have exceptional food and a great atmosphere. I had friends in town visiting from out of state, and I took them here before we went out. It was the perfect dinner place to set the mood for the night. The margs and the yellowtail ceviche were phenomenal. I also ordered the shrimp tacos and the lobster Mac and cheese and both were incredibly flavorful. The lights were dimmed and the music was really fun, but not so loud that you couldn’t hear the people across from you at the the table. This is a great spot for a birthday or a girls night out with a fun atmosphere in Santa Monica. My friends loved it, and my husband said we will have to come back. Our total bill came out to $375 with multiple margarita rounds, appetizers, and mains for 4 people.“
“Stopped over here briefly for a quick nightcap on a Friday. Interesting decor on the inside and not crowded at all considering the time of night.Solid beer and cocktail list at reasonable prices. Ordered a pint of the "A-Slo-Ha" by Slo Brewery ($6ish) - an incredibly juicy IPA that's crushable. Vibes inside are nice as there's a movie playing on the TV, no loud music, and some shuffleboard to the side.Bartender is chill and got our drinks out quickly. No issues with this spot at all, just an easy place for a quick/quiet drink.“
“Not really much to complain about here. Cheap drinks in a popular area of Hollywood. The bartenders are super friendly even during a crazy packed weekend night. It's a good spot to go to before or after a show or as predrinks before barhopping around the area. As long as you know what you're in for before coming, then you'll be fine.“
“Located in Shutters, the food ranged from mediocre to good. The restaurant was fairly empty on a Wednesday night. The seafood in the seafood pasta didn't taste the freshest. The carrot cake (local partner) is very good. Our server Jessie really rounded out the experience - he came by often but not over often. He made great recommendations and was genuinely friendly.“
“Pretty cool spot to have a yummy drink. Good menu looks pretty solid. I had the pleasure of being recommended a Piña Peño it was delicious! The atmosphere is beautiful, little fire pit and low lit area outside was nice. Can't wait to go back and enjoy downstairs. Staff was nice and I can't thank my server enough for telling me about happy hour!“
“I was invited for a drink and a nosh with an old friend in town to visit his daughter who is a Freshman at USC. He was staying at the Le Meridien Delfina hotel in Santa Monica—my instructions where to meet him at Longitude restaurant (located in the hotel). After handing my keys to the Valet I made my way past the front desk towards Longitude, which was located adjacent to the hotel swiming pool. First thing I noticed was the relaxing atmosphere and mello ambiance of the room. My friend and his other guest were seated at the back and no sooner I sat down than I was greeted by a wonderful waitress who furnished me with a wine glass and began pouring from the first of several bottles of a tasty house wine we ordered that night. A healthy order of chicken wings with a side of BBQ sauce and ranch dressing was served, along with an order of Garlic Hummus and pita bread. To sum it up, The company was great, and the appetizers were mouth watering yummy. My sincere apologies to the dinners at nearby tables who tolorated the hysterical laughter emanating from our table. We where vibing off each other's energy, filled with wine, good spirits, and the cozy milieu of Longitude and staff.“
“Great place to go dancing, I loved the ambiance. However they don’t serve food only drinks, and the DJ doesn’t sync his music, so there was a constant interference going to the next song. Still I have fun and will definitely go back there.“
“Michael's has absolutely maintained the highest standards over many years. Sitting in the garden for dinner on a crisp December night is just heavenly. The wine list is great and we were able to start with a few bottles of Montrachet. We are meat eaters so my partner loved the hanger steak with fries while I enjoyed the seared diver scallops. Our friends who are vegetarians enjoyed the pizzas and pastas. Overall this is one of the finest dining experiences you can have in Los Angeles.“
“Very cool spot. Went there with a. Group of friends and got a table. Service was great. Music was good. Decor was really cool. There’s even a pool table ! Which I didn’t notice until I was leaving. Definitely would check it out again when in Santa Monica.“
“Really enjoyed this place, came here tonight for Jazz Night and was nothing but good times with really nice people and staff. It’s one of the few places in Santa Monica with live music. I really liked the atmosphere and will definitely be coming back!“
“Nikki provided excellent service at RED O CANTINA in Santa Monica, enhancing our dining experience. The delectable cuisine showcased impressive flavors, making the overall meal truly enjoyable. Nikki's attentive and friendly approach added a personal touch to the outstanding service. The menu featured a variety of tasty options, contributing to a memorable dining outing. In summary, RED O CANTINA delivers both delicious food and top-notch service, with Nikki's attentive care standing out as a highlight.“
“I would say that 1212 Santa Monica has definitely good vibes. The service was A1 I was a little disappointed there was no DJ . the seating after being asked to move was OK kind of wish they would've just set us still outside. The server was very attentive. He never let our glasses be empty. I would recommend 1212 for a brunch Saturday and Sunday. It's so fun.“
“I can't say enough about the food and service! Everything was off the charts delicious starting with the appetizers and on to the steak platters for 2. Desert the Bomb too!! Thank you for a great birthday dinner experience absolutely delicious!“
