“Booked a 7:15 reservation. There were (4) of us. We were all late driving from different parts of town on a Friday evening after work. Called in to say we were running late. The staff was kind, understanding and kept our table. Our waitress was super nice, friendly and accommodating. The food and drinks were delicious. We even got a sample drink from the bartender requesting that we rate it. It was tasty. The music (live DJ) was good, the atmosphere was nice and we had a great time. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“I love Simonette. The patio is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a cocktail and breakfast, lunch, or brunch. I’ve been there twice now and I can highly recommend the burger on the menu - the fried egg on top completes it! And the mussels in the light cream sauce are wonderful - especially with fries. A friend of mine ordered the fried Bronzino - the complete fish including the head - and she said it was delicious. There are great cocktails available and several wines and Prosecco available by the glass. The onsite valet parking is a bit steep, but there are many nearby options for parking in downtown Culver City if you don’t mind walking a few blocks.“

“Brought some friends there to watch playoff football and a ufc fight. Ended up having the best filet mignon of my life. So tender you could slice through it with the side of your fork. Had fresh oysters from Virginia, which I was told are only $2 on Tuesday or Wednesday (have to fact check here). And probably the best thing on the menu is the bacon wrapped plantains, not a lot of food, but every bite is heaven. Wife loved her fancy drinks, but I prefer scotch.“

“Locals hangout. Locals often avoid the touristy trendy restaurants, buit love to meet and hang out at this super fun dive bar. Recommended by a local.

The food (burger, chips & beer) was good. A nice selection of beers on tap and by the bottle. Watch sports, play pool/billiards, hang out with friends, have a PTA meeting,etc.

As we were leaving, the local ladies, all meeting together Sunday night, were super friendly and waved hello/goodbye. Fun place.“

“I was having such a grand old time at La Fe that I wanted to take a picture of my experience. I set my phone on a ledge, but my phone fell through a crack. La Fe’s STAR employee, Caleb, had to dismantle the freakin’ couch using power tools in order to retrieve my phone. It took so much work and time and I’m so grateful. Aside from the superb service, La Fe is such a perfect spot for a date or for chilling with friends because of the stylish and hip decor. I would def recommend!“

The entire staff was so welcoming and went out of their way to make sure my husband was enjoying his birthday celebration. It was our first stay at the Maybourne. “I'd like to share my experience at Encanto restaurant. The warm, welcoming atmosphere with soft lighting and pleasant music makes you want to stay, relax, and enjoy a good conversation. I came with my wife and child - we were greeted politely and seated exactly where we felt most comfortable. I started with the signature Margarita: perfect in presentation and flavor balance - it immediately set a great mood. Next, I ordered the ceviche set. The first two (Cona Konpachi and Aguachile) were truly outstanding - a symphony of flavors with perfectly balanced ingredients that complemented each other beautifully. The other two ceviches in the set, however, felt unbalanced - the dominant note was excessive acidity. For mains, I had the grilled fish - served on a sizzling hot pan, with a deep charred aroma and a well-judged marinade. Excellent. The steak, unfortunately, disappointed: first it was overcooked, then undercooked. But a special thank you to our server, Kristi - she was attentive and professional, and she turned my overall experience back into a very positive one. I highly recommend Encanto for its ambiance and service. As for the food - some dishes are fantastic, others still need fine-tuning. “My favorite neighborhood bar! Love to watch the football games here (Eagles/Lions/Bills bar), food and drinks are fantastic and not overly priced like a lot of the bars in Silverlake. Pool tables and a quiet outdoor patio in the back.

“We’ve come here a few times and always enjoy ourselves. A lot of specialty IPAs and pretty decent prices on some of them. I had the black and blue heart cider and it was scrumptious. Nice and tart. It’s still a little sweet and a little effervescence. Love me a 7% ABV with a seltzer! Very cozy fun vibes. Comfortable bar seating as well as comfortable booth seating. Nice little outdoor patio and then an area to play games at your hearts content! Pool table inside ping-pong, table, and foosball table outside. Darts board games you name it very cozy couch and tables out on the patio as well. Partially covered. Alistair was very attentive to my friend, but didn’t seem to feel compelled to take care of me lol. A lot of fun eye candy on the walls. Vintage goodies. Will definitely be back.“

The staff was so friendly . One of the reason why this is such a great place to be able to still socialize while there music and other people is cus the surround system is vintage and was personalized to be played up high over everything which makes the place more comfortable. The food was marvelous wasn't expecting a Mediterranean twist but definitely loving it gave the food a special kick to the flavors . The combination of the spices and texture made the food amazing. I tried the steak and fries 10/10 and the shrimp roll be cause I love shrimp. And I loved them both . Personally I like dillso I was ok with the shrimp roll but for my ppl that dont like to try new thing I would recommend to stay away. The drinks were delicious. I had mexican can shots and Jennifer gray . Both I highly recommend. Also a mango cart cocktail but which was delicious also but it has a habanero taste to it thats not my favorite. But still enjoyed it. Something else I learned was the mixers are made natural from all the spices or fruits . Naturally extracted with also give the drinks that extra flavor. More natural and not processes. This is definitely a place to come and enjoy with friends. There was actually a birthday being celebrated and they show movies on a roll down projector this is event worthy for people looking to host an event here.“

You can order via a QR code and get a text when your food is ready. Drink menu is great! Bartenders are friendly.“

The Alibi Room is the ultimate hangout spot, especially when you're reunited with old elementary school friends and teachers (yes, you read that right—grade school reunions are a thing). The service was friendly and on point, despite our large group.

Parking is classic LA—street parking, so be prepared to circle the block for 5-10 minutes. But once you're inside, it’s all good vibes. The drinks were spot-on: I had the Watermelon Margarita and the Gold Rush, both deliciously refreshing. And let’s not forget the Kogi tacos—I always go for the short rib beef and spicy pork. They never disappoint.
