“Brought some friends there to watch playoff football and a ufc fight. Ended up having the best filet mignon of my life. So tender you could slice through it with the side of your fork. Had fresh oysters from Virginia, which I was told are only $2 on Tuesday or Wednesday (have to fact check here). And probably the best thing on the menu is the bacon wrapped plantains, not a lot of food, but every bite is heaven. Wife loved her fancy drinks, but I prefer scotch.“

The entire staff was so welcoming and went out of their way to make sure my husband was enjoying his birthday celebration. It was our first stay at the Maybourne. “Everything was excellent, except the baked fish which is usually excellent. When we advise that it was tough and an edible we were offered an opportunity to select something else. When we did not, they took the price of the fish off our bill. The food here is usually very good so it was surprising to have something that was not, but the staff handled it so well that I continue to think this is a wonderful good value restaurant.“

“We had a very nice dinner here inside on a Tuesday night. I loved the whiskey cocktail which is brought smoking to your table. We shared the cheese plate and gen ceasar and the servings are quite large and perfect for sharing. The BBQ scottish salmon is a real standout and the fries and blistered spinach great sides. They also have a very nice selection of wines by the glass. The staff is very attentive and we enjoyed the night thoroughly.“

“Great little spot to eat food that you bought at the airport. Bartender is super friendly too! Just keep in mind you will be paying the price of a 6 pack or 10 pack for 1 beer (Coors Light) so to get more bang for your buck, order the Long Island iced tea or the 20 oz Space Dust IPA. :)“

“They are by far the best steak I have ever had. We went there on a whim and they were booked but found a cute table for us by the fire. It was the most memorable meal with my husband. We are eternally grateful for the experience and service we received.“

He filled my wine glass with ice and water and waited the perfect 15 seconds for the glass to then be chilled and poured my wine in the glass for just a perfect summer afternoon temperature.
