“The bar at the Valley Inn is perhaps one of the best kept secrets in LA. Yes, it’s tiny but get there early, secure your seat and you’re in for a ride of the greatest cocktails served up by a ladies and gentlemen’s gentleman - the maker with the shaker, Bill. Seriously, make a friend of this guy and then introduce him and the bar to your favorite people - only your favorite people! The food in the restaurant is great but a tad expensive but the bar will become your new happy place. Bravo“

“Loved the Margaritas, Caesar salad and guac prepared at the table. The entrees were great too. The only criticism is that it gets quite noisy and busy so the waiters are rushing to get your orders. But it’s an iconic place and worth the experience.“

“I always love stopping by On The Thirty to hangout/dine when in the area!
It's right on Ventura with a nice outdoor patio space, so it's great for a bit of people watching (or perhaps more like car watching at times)!
They're usually playing sports on the tv's inside when we go, but we usually just chill on the outdoor space.
Service has always been super friendly and good about making sure you're taken care of and giving you refills/anything else you may need.
For the food - last time I went, I got one of the salads (trying to be a little bit healthier haha)!
It was HUGE, super fresh, and packed FULL of flavor from all the delicious toppings. The perfect mix of textures with some crunchiness.
There's plenty of other menu items as well - we've had items like the burgers, brick oven pizzas, and ceviche in the past.
All are very generously portioned, packed with high quality ingredients, and super tasty/satisfying to enjoy!
Oh yeah, and if you drink...the cocktails here are tasty and STRONG!
I had one and was feeling QUITE tipsy!!
On The Thirty is one of my top picks in this part of the valley, and I highly recommend if looking for a spot to hang/dine at in the area!“

“Anejo Grill always goes above and beyond. We came during a FIFA World Cup Mexico game and the staff was very attentive. I requested a seat near the TV and the action, and they made it happen! Food was good, fun atmosphere but kept the classy restaurant style! Good for large parties too.“

“Solid Sherman Oaks taco joint. My only complaints are that everything from tacos to taquitos to burritos comes slathered in crema and their bland pico (how does a Mexican joint not know how to make pico that’s flavorful and not dried out tomatoes?)
Needless to say everything is good and the side salsas don’t miss (get the habanero and the chipotle)“
