“The bar at the Valley Inn is perhaps one of the best kept secrets in LA. Yes, it’s tiny but get there early, secure your seat and you’re in for a ride of the greatest cocktails served up by a ladies and gentlemen’s gentleman - the maker with the shaker, Bill. Seriously, make a friend of this guy and then introduce him and the bar to your favorite people - only your favorite people! The food in the restaurant is great but a tad expensive but the bar will become your new happy place. Bravo“

“I always love stopping by On The Thirty to hangout/dine when in the area!
It's right on Ventura with a nice outdoor patio space, so it's great for a bit of people watching (or perhaps more like car watching at times)!
They're usually playing sports on the tv's inside when we go, but we usually just chill on the outdoor space.
Service has always been super friendly and good about making sure you're taken care of and giving you refills/anything else you may need.
For the food - last time I went, I got one of the salads (trying to be a little bit healthier haha)!
It was HUGE, super fresh, and packed FULL of flavor from all the delicious toppings. The perfect mix of textures with some crunchiness.
There's plenty of other menu items as well - we've had items like the burgers, brick oven pizzas, and ceviche in the past.
All are very generously portioned, packed with high quality ingredients, and super tasty/satisfying to enjoy!
Oh yeah, and if you drink...the cocktails here are tasty and STRONG!
I had one and was feeling QUITE tipsy!!
On The Thirty is one of my top picks in this part of the valley, and I highly recommend if looking for a spot to hang/dine at in the area!“

“Went here yesterday and honestly had such a good time. The vibe was on point, the music was great, and the staff was super friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Drinks were well made and came out quick, which I always appreciate. It felt like the perfect spot to relax, have fun, and actually enjoy the atmosphere. Definitely a place I’d come back to and recommend to friends. 🍸✨“

“CV has been a staple for a long time. Great food, great drinks, great vibe all around. The food is usually really delicious but recently hasn't been as good as it should be (especially for the price). Overall, I love coming here and hope they keep everything high quality like it's always been!“

“I've only had lunch here and last night I ordered delivery - steak fajitas and it was so much food, I'll be lunching on it again today! Who can complain about a place with good food and a Happy Hour that starts at noon?! I enjoy inviting friends to lunch there and introducing them to the inviting covered patio. The food does not disappoint.“

“Cactus is my go-to for Mx food in LA. For me, it has the flavors that my grandma used to cook with (from Mazatlán & Mx City). The staff is always super sweet & helpful. The food is always delicious. If I happen to be relatively close to any of their locations (I’ve been to almost all of them) I have to stop and pick something up. They also usually have current sports games playing which is always appreciated.
Highly recommend!“
