“Very surprised at the classy environment despite the fact its such a small establishment, but that made absolutely no difference in the quality of the atmosphere, customer service and the friendliness of the working young ladies. Their demeanor was so amazing, not rude stuck up or in anyway unwelcoming. They were actually extremely classy, and that made the whole place classy.. And not the least bit distasteful which was a pleasant surprise based on bad past experiences at less desirable establishments. First thing to be noted is Terry and Will the bartenders are valley legends, I'll take the Pepsi challenge that they have the best pours within a 15 mile radius. Now I'll warn you it's 1000% a local bar. Very no frills and the men's bathroom is reminiscent of a NYC subway in the 80's but it's all good because you can get a triple Tito's and red bull for $6. “This is definitely a hidden gem in Beverly Hills!!! It's in a prime location with reasonable prices. Their cocktails are affordable and have lots of flare. I recommend the "Spellbound" if you like bourbon. Their service is swift and friendly. My favorite food items were the spicy tuna crispy rice and the Wagyu Pepperoni Pizza. They also have pretty decent sized portions to share. After shopping on Rodeo Drive, Beverly Bar is a nice place to stop without breaking the bank.“

I made a reservation, valet was very kind, I couldn’t even tell you how many people checked on me to make sure I was doing okay but I appreciated everything. The bread was amazing, the recommendations were amazing, even the other guest in the restaurant were sweet and told me happy birthday & took pictures of me. Crispy outside, soft inside, well seasoned. Mildly curious aioli pair well. Not perfect. Maybe needs another sauce? Seared Hokkaido Scallops - Scared green curry would overpower delicate scallops, but texture remains in tact. Curry pulls out creaminess. Delicate, but flavorful. Warm and clean. “I've been coming here to Bodevi many times this past year. I was so stoked when I found out they serve wine AND espresso. I initially was drawn to their WINE FLIGHTS and VEGAN CHARCUTERIE. But lately maybe because of the cold weather I've been craving their LOX & CREAM CHEESE TOAST and BLUEBERRY GINGER LATTE. They pay really great attention to detail because my lox toast is perfectly spread all the way to the edges. The salmon perfectly scrunched for texture (not just laid out flat) and topped with sliced red onions. Then drizzled with oil I think and perfectly garnished with dill and capers...yumm!! Love the orange slices as well! The blueberry ginger latte is so unique and pretty! It has a richness to it like mocha but perfectly balanced. I get mine with oat milk. And I love seeing actual blueberries on it to give it a nice finishing touch. Get this before they switch out their seasonal menu! Once the weather warms up I may go back to trying their wine flights again. I recommend THE DAVID BOWIE so you can have the assortment of white, rose, and red if you're trying their wines for the first time. Other items I definitely recommend are the BURRATA PISTACHIO SANDWICH (I get mine minus the prosciutto to make it vegetarian) , the VEGAN DELI SANDWICH, and the DEVILED EGGS. You can't go wrong with those. They're delicious! They even have an assortment of board games, chess, and checkers that you can play in the private room in the back. So chic and charming for big parties! Service is wonderful! My lattes always come out perfect here made by Caleb and Melissa! And like I said they pay attention to detail. There's also a self serve water station by the bar. Parking is FREE in the back parking lot. Front parking you have to pay for with coins not credit cards. Such an absolute GEM in San Fernando!“

Our waiter and other waiters so very nice and attentive. My water was always full (I drink alot of water) we started out with the devil eggs WOW they were so delicious better than mine lol I wish they come in 6 instead of three. The fries are so yummy. I had the tuna sandwich let me tell you the best I ever had the bread was so soft . I need the recipe of the homemade tasting tuna . My husband enjoyed his chicken sandwich. Drinks so good too . “MY FAVORITE LA BAR!!! My review is loooong overdue as I've been coming here for years. I've moved further South on Ventura but I still manage to come to what I feel is my home in bar form. I'm a woman who loves mixology and good bartending and most bars are extremely male centric. TLP is great for women and men. It wouldn't surprise me that many women love this bar. You will hear everyone mention "the feel" of the bar and it's because they seem to consistently hire AMAZING BAR AND WAIT STAFF. Kudos to management for keeping such excellent consistency. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME..I come to the bar I sit at the bar and get an INCREDIBLE convo from the bartenders. They always serve me the most fantastic drinks and make me feel like a FUGGIN QUEEN. I love them so much for this. They manage people well and that's hard to come by. Even if I've had a bad day they seem to always say the thing that lifts my spirits -- it's wild. My husband surprised me with our first visit, and upon first glance, I thought we were strolling up to the Tipsy Cow. When we deviated to the entrance of Buvette, I was surprised by an understated front door but immediately delighted with a beautiful interior. We sat at the bar, but the booths were gorgeous and intimate. My husband got the Granacha and I got the Moschofilero - both were delicious and easy-drinking. There are specific wines on the happy hour menu, so be sure to ask. And although not on the physical HH menu, the QR code on the back revealed an online HH menu with the "Adult Lunchable". Between the free bar mix (corn nuts, crunchy chickpeas and Lima beans??), and the Lunchable, it was a perfect amount of food between the two of us to keep it light but to feel satiated. The mashed potatoes, though a small portion, were delicious, as were the fresh vegetables, broccoli and carrots.  For dessert we ordered carrot cake. What a huge portion !!  It tasted fresh and quite yummy! Our server was excellent, and kept coming around to see if we needed anything. “Islands is a classic family favorite. I miss the giant birds that they had at the old location back in the day, however the modern day Islands is fresh take on the beachy island vibe of yesteryear. They have a spacious outdoor patio, bar space and plenty of booths inside. The menu has changed quite a bit over time (they have a burrito on the menu now?), but they are typically known for their burgers and fries. Their fries are so good and they always come in a large portion. I can never get enough! I ordered the big wave and the kid's burger for my son. For your burger you have a choice of bun (wheat or white) or you can do it lettuce wrapped. I thought the kids menu had a lot of great options for littles. My son really liked his side of pineapple! However his burger was SO salty. It was saltier than my big wave burger was, so not sure if this was a fluke or the kids burgers are just saltier. Didn't love it. I enjoyed my big wave. It's exactly what you would expect and the veggies on it tasted crisp and fresh. Service was great too! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Overall the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere is enjoyable. I come here more for the nostalgia of it but I do crave their fries often!“
