“Very surprised at the classy environment despite the fact its such a small establishment, but that made absolutely no difference in the quality of the atmosphere, customer service and the friendliness of the working young ladies. Their demeanor was so amazing, not rude stuck up or in anyway unwelcoming. They were actually extremely classy, and that made the whole place classy.. And not the least bit distasteful which was a pleasant surprise based on bad past experiences at less desirable establishments. So thank you ladies for such a great experience ❤️ I would recommend to all my friends hands down.

“Went there 2 Thursdays ago in NorthHills for a show my brother's production company (Kahnnation) put together...It was the first time me and one of my homegirls went, and it was a great experience!!! Cheap delicious STRONG drinks woooo!!! The bartender was very welcoming and funny!!! He definitely made great drinks!!! Everyone was very friendly!!! While the bands were setting up their equipment, music was played in the background and we were all dancing!!! Great night!!! Thank you for the wonderful experience!!!!“

Hostess are typical LA style “we are too important and fancy” girls making the very beginning of the evening pretty unpleasant. The rest of the night is 100% worth the time.“

“This was my first time here. The valet price wasn’t insanely expensive. Upon walking in, I literally felt like I was in an LA (proper) hotspot. It was busy, thus a bit loud; but it went with the vibe of the restaurant. (Good thing, not a negative one.) It looks like a great place for first dates, date night, girls night out… Maaaybe not for for families with little kids. I work with children and I adore them, however I suggest getting a sitter for the night so everyone can enjoy the ambience. The service was amazing, Mary was very knowledgeable about the menu and helpful with suggestions. Everyone at the table loved their dishes, there were zero complaints. Our friend’s daughter works there and was able to pop out to say hello and goodbye. I cannot wait to go back and try everything else on the menu.“

“We were in LA to attend a birthday party at the Peninsula Hotel and my economically shrewd wife found Maison 140 as a cool and inexpensive nearby hotel - which we were very happy with. However drinks in the downstairs Bar Noir was an incredible added bonus. Randy the Barman engaged us immediately and within 3 minutes we had our generously poured drinks and were chatting to other guests. It felt like we were regulars at “Cheers” (the old TV series Bar, where everyone knows your name). It was one of the best bar experiences we’ve had in years. Absolutely loved it. Thanks Randy ! “Hi there, it’s Alfie the mini Dachshund again! ? I recently had brunch at Jax’s Studio City, and let me tell you, the food was almost as good as a nice belly rub!

First up, the Meat Lovers Burrito! Yum, it was packed with all the good stuff—meaty, savory, and filling. I’d give it a solid 8/10. Then came the Classic Egg Sandwich… let’s just say the garlic aioli made it delicious! Every bite had me wagging my tail in excitement.

Now, as much as I liked the food, the service was a bit ruff-ruff ?. It seemed like they might have been short-staffed(and I know short) and oddly enough, they asked everyone to provide a card to eat. Not sure what that was about! But other than that, everything was still pretty pawsome.

So, if you’re in the mood for a tasty breakfast, Jax’s won’t let you down on food, but just be ready for a little wait. ?

Also the price was $100 for 2 so get ready.

We opted for the newly launched set menu, which was absolutely fantastic—a true hidden gem which wasn't publicised at check-in or around the property. While the restaurant's decor doesn't quite match what you'd expect from such a prestigious property, the quality of service and the dishes more than compensated for it. The team responsible for service delivery was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and highly professional. They truly went above and beyond, though it's a shame the team's efforts are let down by top brass by the lack of investment in the restaurant's interior, which is lacking, even by British Hilton standards. Adding to the ambiance, there was a live singer whose soothing tones perfectly complemented the evening. The view was also a highlight, though somewhat marred by the enormous Waldorf Astoria building plonked next door, which feels rather like an arrogant neighbour unnecessarily overshadowing a true Beverly Hills icon.
