“Best tacos I've ever had in a restaurant! I am always in search of a great taco and I found this place and am blown away. I had the carne asada, the chicken, and the fish. They call the fish Bajaway with similar plays on the names of the other tacos. Cute.Never mind the name. These were killer. I've been eating tacos all my life and I cannot say enough about these. Plus the ambiance was really chill and friendly.My new go-to place when I'm in this part of the Valley.“

“Went there 2 Thursdays ago in NorthHills for a show my brother's production company (Kahnnation) put together...It was the first time me and one of my homegirls went, and it was a great experience!!! Cheap delicious STRONG drinks woooo!!! The bartender was very welcoming and funny!!! He definitely made great drinks!!! Everyone was very friendly!!! While the bands were setting up their equipment, music was played in the background and we were all dancing!!! Great night!!! Thank you for the wonderful experience!!!!“

“This was my first time here. The valet price wasn’t insanely expensive. Upon walking in, I literally felt like I was in an LA (proper) hotspot. It was busy, thus a bit loud; but it went with the vibe of the restaurant. (Good thing, not a negative one.) It looks like a great place for first dates, date night, girls night out… Maaaybe not for for families with little kids. I work with children and I adore them, however I suggest getting a sitter for the night so everyone can enjoy the ambience. The service was amazing, Mary was very knowledgeable about the menu and helpful with suggestions. Everyone at the table loved their dishes, there were zero complaints. Our friend’s daughter works there and was able to pop out to say hello and goodbye. I cannot wait to go back and try everything else on the menu.“

“Here's a surprise! Right on Reseda Boulevard, on the west side of the street one block south of Ventura. Great service, clean, nice setup inside, a ton of weird bar games to play if you choose, a short menu of well made food and a good list of cocktails and beers.
They do karaoke, and DJ stuff. Check the website, maybe even a Facebook page. Not sure about that.“

“It's a small place, just simple and relaxed. Service was rapid and friendly. If you are a pool player, there is a table in the back where you will most likely find no shortage of players and challengers. I'll definitely be back soon.“

“Very surprised at the classy environment despite the fact its such a small establishment, but that made absolutely no difference in the quality of the atmosphere, customer service and the friendliness of the working young ladies. Their demeanor was so amazing, not rude stuck up or in anyway unwelcoming. They were actually extremely classy, and that made the whole place classy.. And not the least bit distasteful which was a pleasant surprise based on bad past experiences at less desirable establishments. “Phenomenal customer service. I wanted to surprise my daughter and buy her dinner. I am in Tucson; my daughter traveled to California. Sophia made it possible. This was over and above. My daughter enjoyed her birthday meal; Sophia and staff made this an experience to remember. Sophia stayed in contact with me through the experience and, though I could not be there, made me feel as though I was. It is no surprise that you have been around for so long. “A very nice and cozy place located in Sylmar. Food was well seasoned and the server was friendly and welcoming. Parking is a bit small but there's street parking as well. The only thing I didn't enjoy as much were the beans, they were slightly under cooked and bland, the rice and asada burrito were really good. Pancakes were moist and fluffy as they should. Carne asada taco was also really good however if you don't like it spicy ask for salsa on the side. Overall a nice welcoming restaurant.“

“I met a few friends at Rosti this past week for happy hour; we sat on the patio and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. Since we ordered just a few appetizers, giving a true review of the food is limited. We ordered mussels, which were fine, bruschetta, which was incredibly delicious, and meatballs. I did not partake in the meatballs, but my friends shared that the turkey ones were not as good as the red meat ones. Our waiter was the highlight if I am truthful, patient, and personable. I hope to try this restaurant again soon to really experience what they have to offer.“

“El torito has stellar and personable service and fine tacos. The beef tacos have overcooked meat, but the other tacos are nice. They make a decent salsa, and their chips are about average.

It's a great place to come to hang out with friends or with any of their friendly bartenders, or to watch a game with a drink and some snacks.

The rooms are spacious with plenty of light and plenty of large windows, lending El Torito an airy atmosphere, which is nice.“
