“What an incredible hidden gem! We were craving Italian food and decided to check out Al Italiano. Walked in on a Tuesday night a little before closing. Eddie and the owner Robert greeted us warmly. The menu has some great options and we were indecisive what to order. Our waiter Eddie is a first class professional and answered all our questions with patience and in details. His recommendations were amazing. We ordered Eggplant Parmesan, Veal Piccata, Children’s cheese pizza, Salumiere pizza and their homemade Tiramisu. Everything was excellent and so tasty. The whole experience at Al Italiano was outstanding and unforgettable. Robert is a great business owner who actually cares and treats you like family. His whole staff is very respectful and helpful. The ambiance is very Italian and welcoming. We found a true gem! Thank you Robert, Eddie and staff! We will be back soon!”

“I used to come here years ago. I worked basically a few doors down at the Dispensary. I haven’t been around in years but I was over in the area and I stopped by. The stand out here is the Spicy Orange Chicken!!! It was perfectly fried and the jalapeños were the perfect complement. The noodles had a great chew to them and my two other sides had a lot of flavor. I went with teriyaki chicken and mushroom chicken.
There are chili oils on the counter and sriracha to take to your table. This is one of the hole in the wall places that I love.”

“I have to admit, Charleys Philly Steaks caught me off guard. I originally stopped by because I was hungry and wanted something quick, but it turned into one of those meals that was much better than expected.

The cheesesteak came out hot, packed with meat, and loaded with flavor. What I appreciated most was the simplicity of it. No unnecessary gimmicks, no attempt to reinvent the wheel—just a satisfying sandwich made fresh to order. The combination of the grilled steak, melted cheese, and soft bread worked exactly the way it should.

I also noticed how busy the place was, yet the staff kept things moving efficiently. My order arrived quickly, and everything looked fresh. That’s not always easy in a fast-casual restaurant, especially during busy hours.

There are plenty of places where you spend more money and leave less satisfied. Charleys feels like the opposite. It’s not trying to be a luxury dining experience, but it delivers exactly what it promises: a filling, flavorful meal that leaves you happy. If you’re walking through the mall and can’t decide where to eat, this is a choice that’s hard to regret.”

“No dine in so I won’t review service and atmosphere. Crab Rangoon was good. Orange chicken was fairly good but some pieces had more orange flavor than others. Black pepper beef had lots of vegetables and would have preferred more beef, flavor was good but could have been more peppery. Xo sauce string beans didn’t have much flavor, but I tasted the sauce in the bottom of the container and it was good so maybe the beans need to marinate more. I’ll try it again tomorrow and see if it tastes better. So, all in all, I’d say the food is kind of average.”

Parking, plentiful. The restaurant is on a corner, so you have at least 40 or 50 spaces available. 3 handicap spots in front. Easy wheelchair access.

Food, great! The Sweet and Pungent Shrimp ($22 as of September 2026) is amazing, sour, sweet (not overly sugary), Pungent with ginger, and a light heat kick with red pepper.

...and the BBQ Pork Fried Rice ($12.50) is plentiful, lots of meat chunks, good savory flavor with a good amount of carrot and snow peas.

I love this place, and I will be back.

They were the best we ever had! The next day we came back for breakfast for real and pretty much ordered the same thing. Unfortunately it must have been a different cook. Although it was good and plentiful it was not cooked as nicely as the night before. Definitely NOT a deal breaker cause Henri's is really very good and the staff is exceptionall - both visits. We could tell it is a local favorite and that is always a good sign.”

“This pizza is 5 star amazing!!!! The sauce is full of flavor with outrageous blend of spices and thick. The cheese, sauce and meat are of the highest quality. I prefer Chicago Style. I had the Detroit and it was too crunchy. The Chicago is out of this world good. I just had it Friday and am going to order it again tonight Sunday. One piece is enough to fill you up. I e tried a lot of pizzas in my 52 years from all over LA to New York and this is my most favorite by far. They are very generous also if a little late with your piizza. Truly class acts and old school business style. Such an awesome find. You won’t be disappointed I promise!!!!!!”

“Always yummy! But this review is specifically to highlight the two gals working Sat. June 20th around 7:50pm. I was picking a bowl up with the intention to eat it the following day, so i asked them if i could have the fruit in a separate container so i wouldn’t need to freeze the fruit overnight and could leave it in the fridge instead. They said absolutely, and went above and beyond in separating all of the toppings as well so i could leave those on the counter so they wouldn’t get soggy in the freezer with the acai. On top of this, the folks ordering ahead of me seemed pretty complicated and they took their orders with grace and kindness. Thank you!!”
