“What an incredible hidden gem! We were craving Italian food and decided to check out Al Italiano. Walked in on a Tuesday night a little before closing. Eddie and the owner Robert greeted us warmly. The menu has some great options and we were indecisive what to order. Our waiter Eddie is a first class professional and answered all our questions with patience and in details. His recommendations were amazing. We ordered Eggplant Parmesan, Veal Piccata, Children’s cheese pizza, Salumiere pizza and their homemade Tiramisu. Everything was excellent and so tasty. The whole experience at Al Italiano was outstanding and unforgettable. Robert is a great business owner who actually cares and treats you like family. His whole staff is very respectful and helpful. The ambiance is very Italian and welcoming. We found a true gem! Thank you Robert, Eddie and staff! We will be back soon!”
“If you love sushi, GO HERE. If you like fancy rooms and big windows? Maybe not. Go’s Mart is a hole-in-the-wall masterpiece. The place is unpretentious orange walls, simple bar seating but Chef Go shows off with whiteboard daily catches, rare fish, and “did you just say gold leaf?” moments. It’s not casual eating. It’s an experience. The price tag made me pause, but each bite justifies it. Friendly service, no fluff, just sushi done really well.”
“The food is great for the area. You can tell the owners have a lot of pride in their restaurant. Everything is served so hot.
They are so friendly and make an effort to leave their guests with a nice experience.
We got the galbi combo with spicy tofu soup. It was lovely.”

“Been coming here after work for a couple months now. Asked the bartender to suprise me, after telling her what I like to drink, I got served with a Kaskade or however you spell that drink LOL. Pretty good drink honestly. Everytime I come here though it's nothing but good vibes all around. The place itself, you can feel it's chill. Highly recommend coming here if you been having a stressful day. Even for just a beer or two, really great spot. Plus great vibes ALWAYS from the bartenders, the ones i've got the chance to meet at least.
*Shoutout to the girl bartenders that my bestfriend and I always have the opportunity of seeing.*”

“This cloud kitchen is run by a mom-and-son duo and their food slaps. My favorite is the chicken frankie - It's such a yummy lunch or quick dinner. I like the sauce and the veggies in it which add a nice little crunch. My boyfriend thinks they have the best samosas he's had, simple yet full of flavor. Their kabobs are delicious too. All of the food we've had there so far is really fresh and tasty. We can't wait to try more. So glad we have this awesome little spot in the neighborhood!”

“Good colt cut sub. The inside was very spacious, only problem I had was it was a little warm inside didn’t necessarily make me want to sit down and enjoy my sandwich there but the sandwich was good. Good value I paid 15 bucks for a mineral water bag of chips and a large sub. I thought it was a great deal and the food was decent.”
“Excellent variety of brews ON TAP , felt like a local. Definitely worth the visit being a first timer. The food is made like your mom would make with tender love and care”
“I ordered *Chicken Broccoli & Combination Fried Rice*. it was sooo good. The flavor and, heat were perfect😁😉👌The person @ the register greeted me w/a smile😁She offered me water after taking my order, telling me my order would be ready in 10 minutes. I passed on the water and, waited 4 my order in my car. When the order was ready, I tipped the person who took my order and, she invited me 2 return 😁I recommend *Thai Blvd Bistro* 2 anyone who wants fresh cooked food. It definitely met my expectations and, my craving was filled 😉👌😁”

“$8 combo with decent sized portion--chow mein, fried rice and a meat! Can't beat that! No frills restaurants. They don't soak their rice in oil like many Chinese restaurants. Good orange chicken, also saw they have jalapeño chicken and fried banana.
Parking might be tough in this neighborhood but it's free.
They take cash and card”
“I used to come here years ago. I worked basically a few doors down at the Dispensary. I haven’t been around in years but I was over in the area and I stopped by. The stand out here is the Spicy Orange Chicken!!! It was perfectly fried and the jalapeños were the perfect complement. The noodles had a great chew to them and my two other sides had a lot of flavor. I went with teriyaki chicken and mushroom chicken.
There are chili oils on the counter and sriracha to take to your table. This is one of the hole in the wall places that I love.”
“Excellent service, great menu options, very kind staff to accomodate the Halal menu items when it comes to visiting this underrated jewel of Canoga Park/Woodland Hills, San Fernando Valley, L.A. & California entirely.
Keep up the exceptional service bringing memories for me, my family, & friends who always have the honor to visit this wonderful establishment.”
“A quick place for team lunch. Portion size was good. Service could have been more prompt as I had to ask for the server to take our order, refill, take out box.
Besides that food was good…will be back soon.”
“No dine in so I won’t review service and atmosphere. Crab Rangoon was good. Orange chicken was fairly good but some pieces had more orange flavor than others. Black pepper beef had lots of vegetables and would have preferred more beef, flavor was good but could have been more peppery. Xo sauce string beans didn’t have much flavor, but I tasted the sauce in the bottom of the container and it was good so maybe the beans need to marinate more. I’ll try it again tomorrow and see if it tastes better. So, all in all, I’d say the food is kind of average.”
“Been eating here for many years. The menu has changed but everything is still good. My mom and I shared the spinach and artichoke dip- it was delicious and much bigger than expected. I got the French dip sandwich which was good and came with cheese on it and a side salad (or fries). My mom got the cilantro lime salad which is her favorite. The dressing is really tangy and good. Their cilantro lime tacos and French onion soup are also delicious! Everything I’ve had here has been good.”

“Hidden deep in the urban hustle and bustle section of the Sherman way Corridor rests one of the last great burger chains left in the state. It is proof that Los Angeles has always been the greatest at serving one of the most sought after comfort foods in existence, the hamburger. It’s as recognizable to young and old alike. Whether it’s a long day at work, a quick place to feed the kids or just a place to sit down and eat while you forget about life’s cruel challenges for 30 minutes the Canoga Park Carl’s Jr always hits the spot. Yes it’s old, yes other chains are closing by the day and yes it will attract all walks of life due to the delicious super affordable food and the legally mandated restroom that all food establishments should have in California. That isn’t the point though. The point is the food, as tasty as it is, is served by some of the sweetest, kindest and most pleasant people in the fast food industry. It is served by “Gilda” and “Ana”. Two young women that not only make the dining experience better, they make it a pleasure. The food is served with Love. When I walk in and see GILDA and ANA I know that the food will be excellent, prepared well and served quick. Stop in, eat and watch things you can’t see on TV or if you’re in a rush drive through. Either way…. check it out……”
“Makanai is ready is an absolute 10/5 restaurant! If you’re ever in the area I definitely recommend! Owner has great humor and is incredibly nice! My whole family loves it! -Isabella”

“We needed a place to eat dinner late on Friday night and found Henri's. They were closing in 15 minutes but gladly allowed us to sit and order. We didn't want to make it hard for them so we just ordered breakfast for dinner and it was delicious! We are picky in our bacon and hashbrowns and want them cooked very crispy. They were the best we ever had! The next day we came back for breakfast for real and pretty much ordered the same thing. Unfortunately it must have been a different cook. Although it was good and plentiful it was not cooked as nicely as the night before. Definitely NOT a deal breaker cause Henri's is really very good and the staff is exceptionall - both visits. We could tell it is a local favorite and that is always a good sign.”
“Excellent food here. I had the bahn mi with grilled chicken. It was very delicious. Cost $11 which I think is reasonably priced. The staff is friendly. I also had a Thai tea boba which was ok but it tasted different from what I’m used to and would try a different flavor next time. The bathrooms were clean. I like that they have hand sanitizer at every table.”
“Craving Mexican food and found a gem!
Stopped by The Big Burrito and ordered the asada burrito — the meat was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. For the price, it’s honestly a steal.
They also had homemade chiles en vinagre that were delicious and full of tangy heat. Plus, they offer both red and green salsa — if you like spice, go for the red! 🔥
Great food, solid value, and bold flavors. I’ll definitely be coming back.
5 stars! 🌯🌟”

“5 stars - A Holiday Treat!
We had the pleasure of enjoying Christmas lunch with family at this amazing, family-owned authentic El Salvadoran restaurant, and it was such a treat! 🌮❤️ The flavors were absolutely incredible, and the warm, inviting atmosphere made it feel like the perfect holiday gathering spot. The locals were so welcoming and personal, and the staff/owner were incredibly kind and amazing. As a special touch, they even gifted us a homemade order of plantain bananas with fresh handmade sour cream – it was so delicious, it literally melted in my mouth! Highly recommend if you're in the mood for a true El Salvadoran dining experience! Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas! 🎅🎄”

“The deliciousness NEVER dissapoints! The green juice and green bars are always our go to's but we were so happy a few weeks ago that we could once again get guarana juice too and today having brought home a rosemary and olive foccacia WOW that will also now be part of our weekly grab from The Beaches Farmers Market! Mouth watering...I've had 2nd and 3rd helpings. Love your offerings!”
“Everything is super delicious! The combos are so worth it than rather just getting a slice of pizza! Fresh from the oven, the salads, the pasta are super good and the bread is to die for! Best pizza and so many different ingredients! Make sure you go early cuz they stop cooking like almost an hour before they have to close 🤗😋 Great service !! Just love it! I visit whenever I'm in town !!! Enjoy !!!”
“Me and my wife, we stopped by to grab a bite we were surprised by the food that they offer my wife order a plate of bistec con papas it came with salad, rice and beans and tortillas this is not your regular Carne Asada tacos or AlPastore taco truck don’t get me wrong. There’s nothing wrong with those type of Tacos. but these tacos. we’re different. I got myself two tacos of Chicharron. In salsa Verde. And two tacos of Costilla con nopales they were so delicious that I had to post a review to tacos Desoto 5⭐️ real good Mexican food you guys come out and check them out….”

“Had been craving for their Vampiro & Mulitas. They weren't here a few days ago, I was like: Noooooo!!! Where were they???Today, I saw their truck and I was like: YESSSSS!!! So after picking up my groceries I ordered 2 of each Vampiros & Mulitas. Came home and I gulped them down very quickly! Yup!! Everything!! I'm a happy camper now!! LolUnfortunately I forgot which dish was vampiro & which was Mulitas! ???While I was there, there were a few people waiting, and more people showed up after I ordered mine.I'm happy for them, their business seemed like going well!Recommended for others to try their food!
Kid-friendliness: Relatively kid friendly food they can hold in their hands and enjoy ?
Parking: Plenty of free parking it shares with Ralph's
Wheelchair accessibility: It's on a parking lot. Easy access for customers with wheelchairs.”
“I was introduced to Mami Que Rico by a friend. I had the garlic chicken w black beans and rice , it very delicious. My friend bought the ropa Vieja and she also thinks it’s very good, NOT greasy , if you know Cuban food it can be . Anessa has a warm feeling and it shows that she cooks with love !!! I will be catering from her soon .”
“My daughter ,wife and sister in law love the mangoneada! My son and I love the pineapple paleta! The best thing about it is that they use real fruit in the ice cream! unlike other similar ice cream shops that use artificial color and or flavors(thrifty) . I live in rosamond but it's worth the drive to Lancaster YAMiS ! thanks for the great service:)”
“We hired LA's Crepes as a vendor for our wedding in September 2022 and they were AMAZING! They had the most delicious crepes l've ever had and I loved the variety of their menu for our event. They were the perfect surprise and treat for our guests; everyone couldn't stop talking about them after our wedding! I would definitely hire them again and recommend anyone who is looking for a way to elevate your event with some delicious food to hire them. They were on time, friendly, and very easy to work with - they even made a custom powdered sugar design to top the crepes for us!”
“Stopped here on a whim last week and so glad I did. It’s probably the healthiest place on that strip compared to the other hole-in-the-walls I noticed. The tacos are healthy and delicious. It’s not the cheapest place but that’s what you get when you want healthy.I wish I had one of these near Van Nuys.Highly recommended! ????”
“Michael is an awesome bartender! Super friendly, makes you feel welcome right away, and really knows his whiskey. His drink recommendations were spot on and he made the whole night a great experience. Definitely ask for Michael if you stop by Rock and Reilly’s at topanga social!!”

“I always loved this restaurant. especially lunch for breakfast. I am here cause my grandmother told me about how in the 90's. The owners and employees were part of my life. My disabled mother and disabled brother made life hard, but these folks stepped in to help a stranger. You took me shopping cause my mom was missing, you made my brother and I dinner at our home. You would often help by being there for my brother when I couldn't be to get him off the bus? Like WOW, I don't know who you 3 or 4 special people are because I was young. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU !! my brother passed away recently and my favorite people came out of those baby blue apartments right next door to you. This was from 90-92. I hope Great thing for you and your families.”

“This pizza is 5 star amazing!!!! The sauce is full of flavor with outrageous blend of spices and thick. The cheese, sauce and meat are of the highest quality. I prefer Chicago Style. I had the Detroit and it was too crunchy. The Chicago is out of this world good. I just had it Friday and am going to order it again tonight Sunday. One piece is enough to fill you up. I e tried a lot of pizzas in my 52 years from all over LA to New York and this is my most favorite by far. They are very generous also if a little late with your piizza. Truly class acts and old school business style. Such an awesome find. You won’t be disappointed I promise!!!!!!”

“The food is great for the area. You can tell the owners have a lot of pride in their restaurant. Everything is served so hot.
They are so friendly and make an effort to leave their guests with a nice experience.
We got the galbi combo with spicy tofu soup. It was lovely.”
“The pizza itself is great.... I JUST DIDN'T LIKE THAT THEY ADD TOOOOOOP MUCH OF ONE TOPING. like I get it I know; too some it's great that a lot is better but sometimes less or just enough would be better. I couldn't finish 1 slice I ordered pepperoni and bacon.. it had waaaaaaaaaaaay aaaay aaaay too much bacon for my preference. However the staff is super sweet and welcoming. From the call to pick up. These kids working here are all awesome! And I love that!”
“Freshly made churros at a great price and made with love—what more can you ask for?! Will keep coming back every time I’m in LA! Here are photos of the mirth the churros have provided my mom and I for all of internet posterity to stumble upon while searching for churros in the valley mwuahaha!”
“It’s surprisingly hard to find great brisket in the west San Fernando Valley, so discovering Slab at Topanga Social felt like stumbling onto a hidden gem. I’ve tried a lot of barbecue spots across LA, and this is one of the few that truly gets brisket right. The meat is incredibly tender, with a deep, smoky flavor that doesn’t overpower. The bark is seasoned well, slightly crisp, and full of flavor, with just the right amount of fat running through each slice.
Every time I go, I tell myself I’ll try something new, but I always end up ordering the brisket again. I don’t even browse the menu anymore. It hits every time. That level of consistency is rare, and it’s what keeps me coming back. I wish I could comment on the rest of the food, but honestly, I’ve never made it past the brisket. That should tell you something.
The setup inside Topanga Social makes it easy to grab your food and find a spot to hang out. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the vibe is casual, but the quality of the food feels like it belongs in a more traditional, dedicated barbecue joint.
If you’re in the area and craving real brisket done right, Slab is absolutely worth a visit. It’s become my go-to BBQ spot in the valley without question.”
“I have been here twice and both times it was good. Tikka masala bowl was great and the gravy was perfect how its suppose to be. Indian pijja (pizza) was great too - balanced flavor, thin crust. And the guy behind the counter is very helpful and friendly too. Highly recommended”
“Had a great experience dining with jinya. Food was amazing! Our server was Shota, he was so welcoming and kind. Definitely will be coming back! My recommendation is their 2010 Original Ramen and spicy creamy vegan ramen!”
