“Elena and staff were so wonderful and welcoming. The drinks are amazing. Service is timely and faces are friendly. We love going to this local spot because we are always treated very well.”
“I stumbled upon this location completely by chance and I am so grateful I did! The overall standards here are exceptionally high, boasting a remarkably flawless presentation and a truly comforting ambiance. It is an absolutely phenomenal destination that undoubtedly deserves top marks from me.”
“Friendly staff and servers. Good selection. Good meat . They seated us right away . Good parking. First time and if I am in the area again, will definitely eat here again.”
“I love ordering the grandma tteokbokki with the rice balls and the gimmari. They taste delicious all eaten together, the gimbap is also delicious. Service is always great, staff are always very nice when we go.”

“When I visit my mom in the valley, she enjoys going to Katsuya for lunch. I always have a smile seeing only Latinos making sushi behind the counter. Imagine going to a nice Mexican restaurant and seeing an all Japanese kitchen? Anyways, the sushi quality is good, not great. My moms favorite is the miso cod which costs double in Century City. I was told Katsuya is an independent chain and it's up to the owners the price they set”

“My absolute new favorite restaurant! We were visiting family in LA from Chicago and they took us here, I ended up going three times in my one week visit. Cheese stuffed zaatar and the sojouk kachopuri were my favorite and the garlic chicken wrap was my husbands. Honestly everything we had was delicious and the kids kept asking for the pepperoni pizza and mini pizzas.”
“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.”

“Halal House simply is the best for the plates! Chicken over rice and Gyro! I even got two Gyro pita wraps today. Its affordable, quick bite to heat right near CSUN. I also saw that they have burgers! Really good size and taste. This is my go to spot for halal food near Northridge, honestly.😀I”
“Our waiter ( mario) best person I know. Service was beyond amazing, would recommend to all! Thank you Mr.’Mario for the best service ever!”
“We came to Paragon Bar and Grill for brunch right after my daughter’s graduation from CSUN. I found the place through a quick internet search and didn’t really know what to expect, but I was able to make a reservation online for a party of 13 with no issue. Our reservation was right when they opened at 11am on a Sunday, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves—just a couple of people at the bar. The space definitely leans more bar than grill, but it worked well for our group. Very low-key and relaxed. The menu had plenty of options, which was great since we had a few picky eaters. Everyone found something they liked, and the food was excellent across the board. The service stood out—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We didn’t order many drinks, but even so, I was surprised at how reasonable the bill was for such a large group. Only downside: the bathroom could use a refresh. It’s what you’d expect in a neighborhood bar—functional but not the highlight of the visit. Would absolutely go back. Great experience overall, and I really appreciate the staff for helping make the day special.”

“Great quality juice and fresh ingredients. They have good juice recipes with the right combination of fruits & veggies.
Best juice place I have been to. Every time I drop by Northridge, I make sure to drop by.
Their green smoothies are my coffee since I don't consume caffeine. Friendly service too. Try their acai 🥣 too. They just need to add less salt on their 🥑 toast. Bit too salty.”

“My husband and I usually go during happy hour for their poke nachos and crispy brussel sprouts but have tried a few other things. Everything we've tried has been delicious but occasionally varies in preparation quality. We went on March 18th and ordered the poke nachos but they were not as good. The portion was a lot smaller than usual, so we decided to order another one. The second one came out great (I included a picture of the one prepared correctly) and that's when we realized they left off ingredients from the first one sent. They were still good but it was interesting that the two plates were that different. We didn't mention this to our waiter and I'm sure they would have been accommodating but maybe plates should be checked for quality before they're delivered?
Another note, we usually sit at the bar but we got a table the last time since the bar was packed. We were obviously fine with this but the cleanliness was extremely lacking. The menus had food on them and greasy fingerprints. I'm also not sure why the booths are never wiped down?? The tables are cleaned but the food just lands on the seats. Then you're wondering what else isn't cleaned, look around, and notice all the other spots that aren't wiped down. So gross.”
“Who thought that classic American fare and Japanese cuisine could mesh so well??!!”

“Many options to choose from, love that the food is gluten free, the protein pancakes are amazing and moist, the breakfast sausages are tasty, crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside, and the staff is super friendly. There’s ample parking, the cafe is small and seating is tight but I like the idea of going into a dining establishment that’s quaint and cozy, and I like how the owner puts out games on the table, it makes it feel like you’re at home. My only concern is that the windows are covered with advertisement photos which makes it look like the cafe is closed, it blocks the natural sunlight from coming in, and I personally like to look out the window and now I can barely see what’s happening on the outside. Overall, this place is amazing and the food is good.”
“Haven't been here for years. It's the same, guess consistent is the theme. Same booths, same patched leather seats. Food was good.
Started with the cheesy bread. I'm a sucker for cheesy bread. Mom had a huge garden salad. Wife and enjoyed the wedge salad. Mom had salmon and fried shrimp combo. She ate it all. Wife tried the Wagyu dumplings. Sauce was good. The dumplings were just hype. I had end cut prime rib. Was what it should be. Mom's birthday so our server brought a complimentary desert with a candle.
AC unit was down. Hope they can get corporate office to get it repaired faster.”
“Was open on New Year’s Day which was helpful… thanks to the people who kept it open!
The pizza was good. Less salty.
The wings were ok, not great.
The cauliflower was nice and tangy.
For 4 dishes, it cost us $90+ which seem pricy”
“Delicious! Amazing food! Great service! My fish fillet with rice, beans and salad was very tasty. The scrambled pupusas also taste great.Passion fruit water tastes exactly as it should, not too sweet and not too sour, just the necessary flavor to refresh and quench thirst.Portions are very large, cater to the ferocious appetite, well I think so.The place is not very big, but the service is very good. I would definitely go back!!! test passed.”

“Delicious, fresh meats, including pork belly, angus beef brisket, marinated bbq angus beef, black angus choice rib eye, beef teriyaki, and more. Everything paired perfectly with rice & fresh vegetable salad. The appetizers, egg soup, spicy soup, kimchi, broccoli, & brussel sprouts were also excellent.
Outstanding service by Michelle, Melvin, & Destiny. They deserve special recognition for being attentive, welcoming, friendly, and kind.
We had a wonderful time cooking & sharing a meal with mi la familia of origin in a relaxing & enjoyable ambiance. Thank you for the great experience. God bless!”

“Denny’s is a pleasant place to eat. I like the ambiance and it’s very clean. Great food and great server 🥰 My server is MARISSA. She let me seat with a friendly smile 😊 then a few minutes she came back and ask my order and drink 🍹 my ordered food 🥞🥗came out quickly, hot, delicious and satisfied 👍. Marissa walked by frequently to check on me and ask if I need something or order something. She always make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend MARISSA for a reward due to her skills, a hard working server, and a great asset to this DENNY’s restaurant. To sum up, I will come again and enjoy my food.”
“Hidden gem doesn't even begin to describe To Die For Sushi. Nestled in a humble space in Northridge, this place is so unassuming you might walk right past it--but don't. Because once you walk in and sit at the bar, you'll realize you've discovered one of the best sushi experiences in all of Los Angeles.
Chef Danny is a true artist. We had front-row seats to his craft and were mesmerized watching him turn simple ingredients into edible masterpieces. Every slice, every plate--pure precision and passion.
We shared a bento box with mixed tempura, mixed sushi, and sashimi, and were blown away by the variety and balance. The Heart Attack (fried jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese and topped with spicy tuna) was absolute fire--bold, indulgent, and perfectly crispy.
The Toro and salmon were melt-in-your-mouth perfection--fresh, buttery, and honestly some of the best I've had anywhere in L.A.
Our server, Samantha, was fantastic--warm, attentive, and clearly knew the menu well. She made great recommendations and timed everything perfectly.
This place is a sushi lover's dream, without the pretense or the inflated prices of trendy spots. The prices are really affordable and the quality top notch. I have paid a lot more for so much less elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and sit at the bar--watch the magic happen, savor every bite, and thank me later.

“AMAZING matcha and customer service. I just ordered a matcha and the workers offered me a bit of dried apple so I wouldn’t feel sick from drinking the matcha on an empty stomach. It’s rare for establishments to have that kind of care for their customers. 🥹🥹🥹 strawberry matcha was also very, delicious. 10/10 would recommend.”
“When you are in California and you’re hungry for something fast delicious and affordable, In N Out is the place to be. If you are adventurous try your burger animal style, better yet, make your fries animal style. You can also request protein style or with ketchup & mustard. Make it a double double and add a shake or two… now you’re eating Cali style. Peace & love”
“Amazing ice cream store! Super friendly people and great pinatas! My son and his friends loved this unique handmade Mario pinata and it was almost too strong! Lasted many hits and a great time was had by all. Everyone at the party loved the ice cream we purchased here as well. Very reasonable prices. We will always come here for pinatas and ice cream in the future. Thank you 🙏”
“Stopped here on the way to the airport and I was not disappointed! I had a ham, cheese, mushroom and onion omelette (not on the menu exactly) with country potatoes and it was delicious! The coffee was good, the food came fast and got and the server was great. I'll be eating here again when I'm back in town. But they are cash only, luckily I had some on hand . . .”

“This has ALWAYS been thee place to get a Delicious Pizza, scrumptious Bread, and yummy Lasagna! After 60 years, it is still Simply the Best! Outstanding service provided by Ricci which made our dining experience wonderful! Everyone cares about the customer all the way to the top! Joan listens to the customers to make sure that the food is the BEST and it IS! You MUST go to Chi-Chi's when you're in Northridge!”
“The Kuromayu Ramen was very good and very filling. The broth was yummy. I feared it was going to be salty but it wasn’t. The marinated egg was sooo good and the yolk was perfectly jammy. I wasn’t a big fan of the noodles but they were decent.
There is a mechanic humming sound that is quite loud and distracting. The atmosphere of the place could have been better if it was perhaps quieter. But, otherwise for a Saturday, there was no wait. The staff was very kind. The decor is nice and the place is exceptionally clean.”
“I have been going to the Tortilla Inn since 1970 along with my closest friends to this day. We loved it then and we love it now. Betty is just delightful and we love Juan, too. Great food and atmosphere. Take your wife for a romantic dinner and request the corner booth. 💞”

“The description of Ike's to me made it sound like Fat Sal's and I was excited. Truth of the matter is Ike's holds its own, and it didn't disappoint. It has a great menu mixed with Meat and Veggie options. The Mrs. and I split and highly recommend the Captain Carl and the Meatless Mike (I concur "best vegan meatball in America", and Our 3 y/o gives the grilled cheese 👍👍. Our 9y/o swears it was the best grilled cheese she ever had.”
“I always place my order for pick up through their app, and the experience had always been easy. From starting my order to paying and pick up. The app functions smoothly. And the employees are always nice, friendly, and super helpful. Even when I go in and there is a rush, they work quickly, and effectively. This is my favorite poki place, the food is always fresh!”
“My favorite place to get coffee. Have a few specialty drinks I toggle between that are my favorites. They have some unique and delicious muffins and a chocolate chip cookie to die for. I think the cookie is gluten-free....but you wouldn't know. Its so tasty. Was so happy to find this gem 7 years ago and have been going there ever since”

“FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY!!
Went here with my kid and my mom last weekend. My eyes were bigger than my stomach as I proceeded to order more food than needed. We ordered a Mapo Tofu, a Juicy Pork Dumpling, a Pork Wonton in Spicy Sauce, a Green Onion Pancake and their marquee dish, Chongqing Crispy Chicken. Without a doubt, each dish was fire, but the Pork Wonton in Spicy Sauce really blew my socks off. The flavor was on point, and it wasn't very spicy. While I like it spicy, I know a lot of people don't like it. So this dish is perfect for people who want to like it spicy, but can't quite handle it. We ordered two rices, but in retrospect we should have ordered three... The Mapo Tofu demands more rice.
The restaurant was very clean, and the staff were very polite and accomodating. For now I can honestly I have found my new favorite Chinese restaurant in the valley. I will continue to go back here any time I have a hankering for Chinese, which is not true, because I always have a hankering for Chinese. The restaurant is like 20+ minutes away from my house, so it just isn't practical, and it is a tad expensive to be doing that. I think we got out of there after tip around $90, but again, it was a lot of food, and I had enough leftovers for another lunch for two. Definitely check it out!”
“Our favorite place to go, great food, drinks and excellent service.”

“This place is a hidden gem imo, Service is always fast and nice, the food is always fresh, and compared to other spots the price is reasonable for the portions. I’ve been ordering togo for a while now and my mom loves the garlic green beans w/ seafood so I can confidently say that I would recommend to anyone in the area craving thai.”
“We've been to the Burger Lounge in Sherman Oaks but last night we were meeting friends who live in Calabasas so Northridge felt like a great mid-point option. There were four of us. I'm an extremely picky eater!! With that said, Bella (Front of House) took my order and even repeated it back twice which included her reading from what she punched into the computer. When my order came to the table it was 100% inaccurate. Kareem (Shift Leader) was very apologetic and wanted to immediately take care of it, which I appreciated. But, I wanted to take it a step further. I wasn't upset but curious as to how this occurred as I knew Bella had inputted the order into the computer correctly. She & Kareem were uncertain as to why it happened. Bella kept apologizing and I learned she was new. I told Bella it was not her fault but she insisted on taking ownership and Kareem wanted to do whatever it took to make me happy. My career involves running a company and training employees to take responsibility and therefore expeditiously turning the situation around. It's all about recovery and between how Burger Lounge trains their staff and the type of genuine human beings that work there....Burger Lounge succeeds at elevating the dining experience! BTW, the food was fabulous and if you're going to add sugar to it, their shakes are FUNomenal. Kareem & Bella are definitely above & beyond employees and the others working there were all happy & helpful. This is the gold standard and a recipe that should be non- negotiable for any business. It was a gift that the error occurred as it showed us what an outstanding establishment Burger Lounge is with outstanding employees. Huge thank you to Kareem & Bella. Thank you for all that you are and all that you do. You two, your team & Burger Lounge have the secret sauce!”
“I had an excellent experience at BBQ Chicken! The chicken was incredibly crispy on the outside while staying juicy and tender inside. The sauce had the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and just the right amount of spice. Everything tasted fresh, and you can tell they put a lot of care into the quality of their food. The portions were generous, the restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. If you’re craving authentic Korean fried chicken, this place is definitely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more flavors. Highly recommended!”
“Went for my son’s 24th bday, delicious flavor, food and drinks as well as great service”

“I’ve been eating subs from My Hero since 1972! THE best subs I’ve eaten, ever. Moved through the years, and always went to My Hero’s when within 5 hours by car to where I was staying! The high quality of their food has never waivered! The buns are soft, yet chewy! The tomato salad in each sandwich is always fresh! Plus they give a generous portion of the protein! My favorite has always been pastrami! Lean and tasty, everytime! The staff is welcoming and genuinely happy you are there! I’ll be going in a week as I pass through the area! Will be the highlight of my trip! Thanks My Hero for keeping the memories alive and never disappointing!”

“Came mid afternoon for a reserved table of 11. Weren't ready. Finally found reservation, then placed in path of cold air coming from front door. Now, place wasn't busy. However service was slow. Kept looking for waiter. Missed simple order like water. Salad was very good, other meals were good”
“Had a reservation for a table of 18, the managers accommodated us very well. And our two waiters were awesome! They were attentive, fast and always had a good attitude. The food speaks for itself!! Very tasty. We definitely got our butts kicked and walked out with a food coma. Great birthday dinner for my mom. Definitely recommend for a groups or even a couple.”
“I’ve been wanting to try this great restaurant for a while. So happy I stopped by. I brought my mom on a lunch date and when we left she kept telling me how good the food was. The staff, food, drinks and service was spectacular. We absolutely loved everything!!”

“Laid back cafe with decent bingsoo and matcha. Plenty of parking next to csun. Definately wished the binsoo would have more of the drizzle and toppings for the sweetness and flavor layered into the bingsoo because once you eat it off the top, its all downhill after. Plenty of mochi though. Strawberry matcha is a bit expensive for the location and quality.”
“Searching for a late night boba Northridge spot? Then visit Bobo The Boba. It is fun place to hangout with friends with quality drinks, friendly service, and board games. It is open till midnight on Friday & Saturday. I feel its best boba hangout spot in Northridge! I am definitely coming back with my gang!!”
“I come here regularly and they always do a great job with the drinks. I wish they can still have pastries during the day tho. They always seem to run out. The cream that they put on their coffees is like no other. I would definitely recommend the caramel cream top it is delicious. I would definitely be coming more often.”
“Hands down one of the BEST dessert spots in LA. Korner K’nafeh is on another level. The knafeh is absolute perfection: golden and crispy, warm and gooey on the inside, and perfectly sweet without being overwhelming. You can literally taste the freshness in every bite.
The Dubai chocolate bar is a MUST. Rich, indulgent, and completely addictive, it’s worth the trip all by itself.
Service is fast and friendly, the spot is clean and inviting, and parking is easy, which makes it even better. If you love desserts, this place is non-negotiable. I’ll be back again and again 🔥🍰”
“This restaurant is in a nice little plaza, and the food here was top tier!! The kind people at the counter gave beyond amazing customer service, anticipating our needs throughout the entire visit. I would recommend the marinated fried chicken, it was so good and definitely my favorite food from this place!!”
“This place is great. Honestly maybe the best tacos I've ever had... or right up there. Why this place was empty on a weekday at lunch time is a mystery. Plenty of parking in the rear folks! If you love good food and you want better restaurants to open in our neighborhood, eat at these places! Otherwise we're just going to be stuck with Chipotle and Chilis.”
“Went in with the family for a late dinner and had a pleasant time. You can opt for an AYCE option or a la carte. The AYCE menu is broken into 3 pricing options (similar to K-BBQ A,B,C) with each option building on what the previous one offers. We went with the Regular option which has plenty of apps, rolls and nigiri to choose from. Loved the fact that all the servers played a roll in checking in on the tables. Although it was 9pm and packed we never had to wait to place our next order in. For an AYCE Sushi spot, this place had good quality offerings and service.”
