“We had a fantastic meal here. The carne asada plate was huge and so good. We also had some tacos that were overflowing and tasty. Hoping to come back again soon!”
“Went here for Sunday lunch. Service and food were great. The inside is pretty small but clean and bright. Most people were doing take out so seating is probably fine even during busy times. We got both Thai and sushi entrees and they did not disappoint. Will definitely be back.”
“If I can say something is …. The birria tacos and the side of consomé to die for!The tacos , yum, yum!!!!The torsta wow just delicious! We just ordered Uber eats from there and our kids and ourselves love it! We will order again in the near future!”
“I really recommend this restaurant if you want authentic Oaxacan food. I’m from Oaxaca and this is my favorite place, it’s like to be back in town. The service is good, they are friendly and they always welcome us and remember us.They have a good pan de Muertos, their bread it’s authentic.”
“Outstanding food and service! Eagle Russian Armenian Cuisine is a charming family-owned, minority owned and operated restaurant featuring traditional Russian and Armenian cuisine in an unassuming strip mall with free parking.I had this place bookmarked to try based on good-looking foodie pics for a long time. I arrived on a sunny Saturday afternoon and encountered a musician who told me about this restaurant and how he'd been given platters of free lamb dinners worthy of a king when he was very hungry. After hearing this particular praise, I was super excited to try the food and I was not disappointed! The interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated. There's a beautiful mural on the wall.I tried to order Pelmini dumplings (Russian ravioli) but they were sold out. I asked the owner for advice and I ended up ordering the chicken Lula kabob platter which came with rice, grilled tomato, chili pepper, a cucumber salad and pita bread. I purchased sparkling water and a delicious pear juice "from the motherland" from beneath the glass at the front of the restaurant. The portions are very large. The chicken Lula kabob is tender and flavorful. The cucumber salad is similar to taziki, fresh yogurt and chopped cucumber. It's very mild and refreshing.I shared this takeout food with my family and we talked about Armenian Cuisine and history which reminded me of the kindness this place shows to local hungry musicians and where it comes from. I highly recommend this restaurant and I can't wait to go back!”
“The carne asada was freshly cooked upon our order, and the pupusas were made while we waited. The meat was well-seasoned, and the cheese used for the pupusas was delicious. It was a very tasty and reasonably priced meal. My daughter and I enjoyed it so much that we plan on coming back again.”
“Little diner on the side of the road but lots of flavor. The lady at the register is a bit high strung but she is cool. The food is great and good prices. Can get Korean and a phili cheese. Food is made fresh and delicious. I sit down sometimes and the people that come in are working class. Worth the money and time!Kid-friendliness: Small diner and home feeling. The food is good for kids.Parking: 8 spot in front of the building and more next to the liquor storeWheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in and out and order outDietary restrictions: You can have it made your way.”
“Now simply called Tamales House (on Nordhoff). Been coming here since 2000s when my kids were attending OLP School. A whole in the wall. This time, I bought some for potluck. Everyone who tasted it at the party loved it. The masa is cooked to perfection! When you place your order, they ask if you like to buy it cold or hot. I always get them hot. It is to freeze/ref any leftovers. They have a wide variety: chicken, beef, pork, strawberry, corn, spinach, etc. My fave is the jalapeño and cheese flavor. And, don't forget to ask for the salsa verde. ?”
“The esthetic of the food is great. I would suggest beer n spicy edamame. In my opinion sushi Is not good. The yellow tail belly with sauce was tasteless. The rolls are not as tasty nor does it seem fresh. I have eaten in many sushi places I would go elsewhere. People the drinks and the vibe are ok. O by the way my daughter waited over 25 min for mixed drink not ok.”
“Delicious my new and permanent favorite spot to go to in LA. Pastor is so flavorful and the asada was great no complaints here hands down great Mexican food. Service was very fast and efficient for a busy taco truck keep up the great work.”
“I tried carne asada, chicken & shrimp taco. It was sooo good but my favorite was shrimp taco they didn’t give me no ugly baby shrimps lol it was good quality ☺️”
“The hubby loves the Kare Kare here at Barrio Fiesta! The service is great, the restaurant is a little small so you should definitely make reservations for large parties or you'll be waiting a hot minute. The food is great however very limited items for vegetarians. The ambiance is nice and the noise levels are average just because the restaurant is small. The Daing na Bangus is huge enough for 3-4 people. Don't forget to save room for dessert! We'll be back I'm sure!”
“These tacos are hands down some of the best you'll ever taste. You won't regret stopping by this place! Despite the wait, the price, and the long line, every aspect is absolutely worth it.”
“Was recommended for very good sandwiches but what shocked me was the Milk Tea Boba. Probably the best one I’ve had and I have been tons of boba places. Woman there was pleasant to talk to also.”
