“I found this place on Google and decided to check it out because it was across the street from where I had a couple of hours to kill. There is more than enough parking in their lot but I’m not sure if it’s because of Juneteenth of because that’s how it normally is. When I walked in, I immediately liked the place because of the interior design and the relaxing music which was at a perfect volume. I was greeted by a lady who was very friendly and told me that her coworkers would be right out to take my out. After a very brief wait exactly that happened and the lady who took my order was also very friendly. After a short wait I got my food (good size serving) which was brought to my table and it tasted delicious. If I’m in the area again, I will be coming back as this place is a perfect mix of great food, excellent service, and a relaxing atmosphere“

“The perfect meal to break my daily intermittent keto fast. I eat the salad bowls, sub grilled veg for the hummus and I'm relatively carb free. Carbs from the plants but no processed or concentrated carbs from sugar, seeds or beans. Fresh flavorful ingredients, rich flavors and very satisfying. Nice self serve sauce bar with seasoned yogurt, a dill ranch and good hot sauce similar to a mild harissa. Fills me up, satisfies me and then start the timer on the next 24 hrs.“

I was shocked to find out that they use organic products as well, this is so rare to find nowadays. Living in Italy for many years I’ve struggled to find a pizzeria that matches the pizza I was used to eating. Every pizza I have eaten outside of Italy usually results in disappointment and left over dry crust. With this pizza I am left with happiness and the crust is just WOW, I crave more. Their khachapuri is the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve had my fair share living in Glendale) and they have incredible salads (caprese really brings me back to Italy) and sandwiches (turkey is my go to) as well. “Hole in the wall teriyaki place. You order at the counter, you pick up your food, you clean up your own table after eating. Easy free parking lot or street parking. They have a lunch special for $11.95 that includes chicken and rice with salad. They also have specials A, B, C and D that are around the $15 to $20 price range. I had the special C that had white rice, a big piece of chicken katsu, two pieces of chicken teriyaki, salad, two small onion rings and two dumplings for about $15.95. Not a bad value. You get a teriyaki sauce and hot sauce on the side. Their teriyaki sauce is very good here! The serving is very generous. I was not about to finish it in one sitting.“

“Classic Mendo Farms goodness. Just check your items before leaving to ensure that your order is correct. Driving away, on the way to an appointment, and then realizing that your order is wrong is THE WORST. Fortunately, staff was proactive about a resolution. One star docked for the atmosphere because it has a slightly grimy vibe. I’m sitting at a “cleaned” table right now, and it has a coffee stain on it. Plus the communal seating is—well—communal. I’d rather eat in the comfort of my car without the leery eyes of strangers who have food dangling from their overstuffed mouths. 5 stars for the staff: The staff here is super kind.

Oh, one other thing: you can’t pay with a $100 bill. I thought they would surely have change during the lunch rush, but no such luck. Had to go order lunch at Gelson’s that day.“
