“I literally just ordered this pie and I really liked it! I only wish we lived closer... by the time i got home with it, crust slightly (at triangle tip) soggy. but no fault of the restaurant, i just had a longer drive in traffic and the pie was piping hot.It's not NY style thin crust, but definitely thin crust with hearty portions of cheese, fresh mushrooms and sausage. The gentlemen who helped me were so so nice! I waited in my car while the pie was being made, one of the guys came out and delivered it to me! it smelled awesome! next time we'll get a pie and eat it there. Thanks for a very good pizza! We enjoyed it.“

“Yo I've lived in sherman oaks for a long time and I cant believe I just found out about this place. I came with my friend for lunch and it was packed. The workers are really nice and I got recommended the torta and the lunch plates. The carne asada plate was fire and so was their horchata it tasted homemade not the powder kind that some places give. I'll def be backParking: 2 parking spots in the back“

“i’m gonna give my bare honest review, i’ve been here 2 times! PASTRIES N GOODS R SOOO BOMB !!! the croissant is so doughy and delish!! ughhh the mixed berry danish YUM, apple cinnamon twist PERF!!! they also offer varieties of croissant sandwiches & another type of bread but i forgot which kind… they have bobas, smoothies, juices, and what i came for lattes. both times i can taste the espresso is burnt…. never the less how outstanding the pastries are i still give this spot a 5 star. go try it it’s delish. i know there serving a lot and i’m sure there not crazily fixated if there pulling a clean shot. still love love this place and there FAIRLY reasonable in prices“

“Grain Café Van Nuys is creative LA California cuisine/Mexican/Central American food. They will work with you to figure out particular dietary requirements/restrictions. This branch is in a space that used to be a single family dwelling, although hasn't been used that way for decades. So you still have a homey environment to eat in. It just adds to the warm experience. Recommended highly!“

“Short Ribs are delicious! Do yourself a favor and order Special B. It comes with Grilled Teriyaki Chicken with Beef Short Ribs, sides of rice and salad plus teriyaki sauce and chili sauce. The short ribs and chicken were not only delicious they were nice and hot! You can tell they came right off the grill! Portion size is big for the price. For appetizer, ordered chicken egg rolls (qty: 3) comes with sweet and sour dipping sauce. Egg rolls were hot and crispy. Owner was very friendly and accommodating. He offered to clean the table before we sat down. I liked and appreciated that. The restaurant is very clean and has a small dining area.“

“This is the best salad you will find. You get to choose all the ingredients yourself. So fresh and so many choices. And they will toss it for you. They cook the chicken fresh, so it comes out hot and juicy. I like to eat my salad there in a bowl with a metal fork (no plastic). Yummy. Worth every penny.“

“This place is an easy 4-star pizza place. I'm tempted to give it a 5. The pizza is not excessively greasy or oily, and the pizza dough is well made--not too doughy. The service is great as well. They made a mistake on our order and were quick to remedy it. They were all very kind, which goes a long way. Thank you, Pizza Guys, for making good pizzas. Also, the jalapeño cheese bread is very good!“

“I’ve been meaning to review this place for a WHILE. The only reason I didn’t get around to it sooner is because I was always so excited to eat my sandwich that I forgot to take a picture of it. Any sandwich here will be one of if not the best sub sandwich you’ll ever have and are all elevated to the next level with their Italian dressing that you HAVE TO get extra of. The sandwich in the picture is the Pandoras Box, and it’s fantastic, but the Hula Girl, Sweet Caroline, Captain Morgan, Endless Summer or just a traditional sub (I recommend the #6) are all amazing choices you will never be disappointed by. Also all the staff are super friendly. They even recognize my dad and I whenever we go. Easily the best sandwich’s in LA.Parking: It’s parking on Ventura, so it’s sucks, but you can usually find a spot.“

“This a nice spot for sushi in this neighbourhood with clean environment. The food was superb on my first visit. And continued to be nice on my other visits. However on the delivery the food didn't feel as good on everything in the order. Service is good too, very accommodating and they always check if everything is good. They have great food selection, however the albacore lover with onion chips on top is always a winner.“

I would definitely recommend the chicken and the beef. do note that the beef is beef lamb although you can't taste the gaminess of the lamb. The fries are good as well with the pickled onion. “I came out to the valley to have lunch with a friend and we went to Sharkeys and I was so surprised and very happy that they had organic and vegan and tofu really excellent options. The food was fantastic. “One of our favorite places to have family dinners at. It has been in business for over 65 years. The pizza is delicious here. I love their supreme pizza and the cheese pizza the most. Their house antipasto salad is amazing and I always order it. Pastas are good as well. The linguini in clam sauce is perfection. I can go on and on. The service is great so is the ambiance. It's very dated but it works just fine. I love the atmosphere of this place. Feels like you are back in the 60s (not that I was alive in the 60s lol) anyways you get the point. “Fantastic food in a busy but fun atmosphere.We have been coming to this restaurant since it opened at this location. The food is fantastic, there is plenty of free parking in the lot behind and usually room to be seated. Friendly staff.The only downside I have noticed over the past few years is that orders can take quite a bit longer than they used to. It's not uncommon to have a 20 to 30 minute wait once food is ordered which can be a bummer with hungry kids.“

I get it plain, meaning just the white rice, with the chicken breast sliced on top with the Teriyaki sauce all over it, but it normally comes with sesame seeds, and green onions on top of the chicken breast. The chicken is far better quality meat than than they serve at even much more expensive restaurants! “This is my favorite Thai place. I’ve been coming here for years, and they never disappoint. My favorite dishes are the roasted duck curry, the papaya salad, the pad see you and the tom yum soup. Ive tried many of their dishes but always come back to my favorites. The owners are very nice & polite. I’ve had great dine in experiences and also pick up/take out. Also LOVE their thai iced tea. “This place is absolutely AMAZING! They have, hands down, some of *the* best turkey sandwiches in the country. It’s like Thanksgiving dinner, in a roll, year round. Staff is warm, attentive and very professional. The atmosphere is pretty good as well. The music is loud enough for you to hear it, but low enough to be able to have a conversation with your family and friends without having to scream. Also, it’s “clean” music (no cursing), so it’s a pretty decent place to bring young kids. The establishment seems clean and well kept. I highly recommend their gravy.
