“Finally stopped in today after passing it by on many a commute and was far from disappointed. Had a bulgogi beef bowl and tried a piece of the fried chicken--both were delicious. Fried chicken was flavorful and succulent and came with a delicious honey mustard-esque dipping sauce. Bulgogi beef bowl was an absolute winner. Tender beef, great sauce, solid flavor. Excited to come back in the future and try more. The owners were so nice too. Total hidden gem in the valley, highly recommend.”

“Tried Thyme Pizzeria for the first time today. Had a large pizza ? half pepperoni half cheese and it was delicious. The service was great, the people are very friendly, 10/10 recommend it.Parking: Plenty of parking available”

“Their food never disappoints. I go from the carne asada torta to the tacos and still can't decide which I like best. The meat, asada or carnitas, is always good and smells great and the beans and rice . Their salsas are really good. I always get this through Door Dash (had not idea it was a food truck) so if you order on there remember to add your request for the salsa.”

“This place is a hidden gem in the valley and even the lot it's in you wouldn't assume it's good. This is located in the same lot as the Food 4 Less and Baskin Robbins. And I am so mad I didn't get this place sooner, the savory empanadas I had were DELICIOUS. I had the corn, pork kahula and a chicken one that I forgot that all came with their individual sauces and I WILL be going back for more. I was however so disappointed in the banana Nutella empanada- it was very mushy and the Nutella taste was nonexistent. Either than that the actual place is super clean and a cool ambiance to it!”

“The biggest and best chicken tostada you will find anywhere! Baja salad is great with all the colored tortilla chips. Tuna roll, French toast, beef dip, Rueben, Pastrami, Denver omelette, All delicious meals I have had here that were great. Oh yeah, Hamburger with mushrooms, swiss cheese, bacon and tomato with crispy fries! I love this place! Carlos has worked hard to keep this place going with great tasting food. I have been coming here for 20 years and have never had a bad meal. Places like this that have fresh cooked food are hard to come by. I hope God blesses this restaurant with more business. Between a truck smashing into his building causing him to close for almost a year, then the pandemic, then a lot of local businesses closing he has kept working hard with his employees to keep the doors open. You have to try this place out for yourselves. You will be glad you did.”

“My kid's favorite pizza spot! Tasty sauce and the crust is perfectly crisp and hot. Customer service was friendly, quick and efficient. Wait time was no more then 15 mins for a personal size pizza.”

“You know that place you heard of ... some old family hot dog stand in LA, that's been in the same family for- evvah!? Once upon a time in the am I saw this news story about this family hot dog stand and how it still exists in its original location.... And it took me for -evvah to get here.... And why? Look around you: this city is changing so fast. So as I past the location and turned into the parking lot I couldn't help but think about the history of the original... So up to the counter: menu is pretty basic but I'm not feeling adventurous and go for a simple dog with onions.. the lady behind the screen was so accommodating: offering me options... but I'm kinda simple.... But next time I'll get their original with chili as that's what they began with. As I sat a table with a quote from the Doors, it made me think that the myriad of people who have come here.... This place is history. Dog was crisp, juicy. Can tell it's their own. Delicious and not overpowering . Next time I'm going with the chili !”

“The tuna tostada is super tasty. Taste just like poke just need some white rice and I'm set. Definitely worth it. My wife liked the cocktail, and ceviche. Lunch special was pretty affordable compared to what's out there.”

“This is one of my favorite San Fernando Valley hidden treasures... inside the Winnetka Bowl/Best Western Inn... you will find a cozy little diner. The food - I've had breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and I leave super happy. For me, the French toast is the BEST I've ever had, can't be beat. It's not dry, but it's not soggy either. I've had their healthy dishes--egg whites with veggies, so good... burgers are amazing. The staff are all on top of it, checking in, topping your drink off...food is turned around fast... love it.”

“I came again & brought my mom this time for lunch… we had the pleasure of meeting Natalie our waitress she was amazing and took great care of us, honestly made dining in so much better. I wish the drinks were stronger but it still satisfied my craving for a margarita. I’ll definitely continue coming here 10/10 food atmosphere vibes and staff!”

“We love this place. The food is so tasty and fresh. We usually get the teriyaki bowls and instead of rice, we get the steamed cabbage. It's the perfect place for us to just stop by real fast, pick up our order and enjoy at home after a long day at work. They are also so nice and welcoming.”

Let me tell you, I’m real picky when it comes to mac & cheese, and this was killer! The baked beans were awesome too. “I wanted to try a new coffee shop and came upon Jesse's Grind Coffee Bar and the reviews were so positive I decided to give it a try. I ordered the dirty horchata latte with whole milk and it was really good! The staff were really friendly as well and were so fast at making drinks as it was pretty busy. I definitely want to come back and try a coffee flight as I think that's such a cool idea and I love coffee. The shop is small but has a cute sitting area which I will definitely enjoy when I revisit to try more flavors.”

Quality is implacable and taste is irresistible! They have variety of cakes and several excellent pastries w cream cheese and raising, cherry and of course gotta !!!Stop by and check it out!!!”

“I have only tried the tamales, but every time I go there I just have to keep getting them bc they are so good. The masa is fluffy and moist. Ask for their green sauce on top, it goes very well with pork and chicken filling. The sweet corn tamales are also delicious and only cost $2.50. They save very well, so if you don't finish it, just make sure it's well wrapped so it doesnt dry out and you can steam or microwave them to reheat. The restaurant is very clean and the staff has always been nice and helpful to me. I appreciate the fact that you can get a great meal without spending $20. It's what keeps me coming back on a regular basis.”

“Went in a couple of times & it was good, but today was great! When I entered, I was greeted right away by the guy in the green colored highlighter shirt. He said it with positive attitude! Not many people greet with a positive attitude due to them being annoyed, but not him! I asked him for his name & I believe it was Jacob. As I was picking out my toppings, I was indecisive so I asked the girl working with him & she was giving me her toppings of choice, giving me suggestions on what to get. When I paid, I asked for her name too & it was Vanessa. Idk why many people leave negative reviews about this place but it's amazing as the workers there, especially these two! Hope to see them again next time! 10/10 would come again!”

“Excellent, delicious lechon (roasted and Kawali), excellent pastries. Seriously, the lechon is amazingly good: if you are a fan of Chinese style roast pork, this is superior. Less salt and just as tasty. Great portions on plates with fresh veggies. But it's totally worth it. Customer service is super amazing!!!! The lady and gentleman make you feel super welcome. The restaurants is super clean and family friendly. I have a family of 8 and we love coming here to eat.”
