Their food never disappoints. I go from the carne asada torta to the tacos and still can't decide which I like best. The meat, asada or carnitas, is always good and smells great and the beans and rice . Their salsas are really good. I always get this through Door Dash (had not idea it was a food truck) so if you order on there remember to add your request for the salsa.
Being from New Orleans, tacos were never really my thing. Tragically didn't grow up with them. But one day at the Winnetka bowling alley my friend gave me her taco from Santos Tacos & my life changed Imao! If it's Tuesday & the truck is there I HAVE to have them. Their mulitas are "chef's kiss*! Good humans serving good food makes me homesick! Only bad side is now I've been trying tacos everywhere I go & they're never as good as Santos. The truck was at the Downtown Garner pop-up today and we decided to try it. EXCELLENT - very fresh and flavorful, nice people, and it was served quickly. I’d happily recommend this food truck!
