Ameci Pizza & Pasta in Winnetka offers some of the best pizza in the area, with hot, fresh, and delicious options, including their large Amecis pizza. The pizza is made with fresh ingredients and has a delicious crust. The restaurant also excels in sandwich making, and the Fettuccini with Meat Sauce is highly recommended, being cooked Al Dente and featuring a light, flavorful Maniara sauce. The staff is friendly, and the dining area is clean. The menu has a variety of options for both dine-in and takeout, including vegetarian choices like vegetable pizzas and salads. Customers praise the perfection of the cold cut sandwiches and the well-cooked, perfectly cheesy and saucy pizza. The waiting time is justifiable, and the friendly and respectful staff provide a nice ambiance. This place is a great choice for families and pizza lovers, conveniently located just a short walk from many homes.
