“Hands down one of the classiest good vibes restaurants in LA! The food is excellent. The wait staff and bar staff super friendly and personable and Jill (bartender, wine connoisseur and server extraordinaire) is a great reason to keep coming back! It’s like stopping by to see one of your closest friends. Oh…and the olive oil lemon custard cake is AMAZING!!!“

“The food is delicious, normally I can't finish my plate but with my delicious pasta I made sure no single piece was left in my plate lol
I want to give 10 stars to the owner/manager who was the highlight of our day. He made us laugh with his jokes and funny sarcasm. It felt like we were invited to his home for a delicious meal, it didn't feel like it was a restaurant! The food and the atmosphere feels like home!“

The food is BEYOND delicious and I have had almost every single item on the menu. Never once was I dissappointed. A MUST try is the BIANCA PINSA as well as the Faro and Romini salads....Dessert brownie is spectacular too. Everyone I've brought here has fallen in love. The service is timely, professional and friendly. The manager Alexandra is the hardest working restaurant I've ever encountered! You will be thrilled with this restaurant...I was there last night and am bring another new friend this Friday night!😋💗“

“Hands down, one of my favorite restaurants in LA. My husband and I visit here 2-4 times a month. All the locations are beautiful and unique, but our favorite is Sherman Oaks. It's our home local restaurant, and the entire staff knows us and takes great care of us. It was just our 17th anniversary, and the staff made us feel so special. But then again, they always make us feel special, so we just love everything about this place. Our go-to must-haves are the chicken sliders, fries, and the little gem. And to end the meal, we order vanilla lattes, the best cake and ice cream. It's simply the best!“

“What an incredible hidden gem! We were craving Italian food and decided to check out Al Italiano. Walked in on a Tuesday night a little before closing. Eddie and the owner Robert greeted us warmly. The menu has some great options and we were indecisive what to order. Our waiter Eddie is a first class professional and answered all our questions with patience and in details. His recommendations were amazing. We ordered Eggplant Parmesan, Veal Piccata, Children’s cheese pizza, Salumiere pizza and their homemade Tiramisu. Everything was excellent and so tasty. The whole experience at Al Italiano was outstanding and unforgettable. Robert is a great business owner who actually cares and treats you like family. His whole staff is very respectful and helpful. The ambiance is very Italian and welcoming. We found a true gem! Thank you Robert, Eddie and staff! We will be back soon!“

“We went to the coolest little Italian place in the valley for Valentine's on a total whim. The entire place was themed, they had a fun violinist, the wait staff wore Valentine's glasses & vests, they had pink and red lights on the palm trees out front, heart shaped straws... it was so quirky and fun. Service was awesome, like the staff was actually having a good time and glad we were there. The food was AWESOME quality... everything homemade down to the freshly baked heart shaped bread. I don't recall if we've ever really 'celebrated' Valentine's day but going to this restaurant made it feel like an actual holiday. So fun and cute. Also, the prices & portions! Highly recommend to check this place out. Guessing they probably do other holidays as well. Grateful for an unexpected awesome night 🥰🤗“

“. We usually have a very good experience however there was something off this last time. It was towards the end of the evening and they were only a few people left at the restaurant, we had to ask the waitress for our bread four times which was unusual. Otherwise, we appreciated the quiet atmosphere, the very nice wine and high quality, wine glasses and the good food. We were a little bit disappointed because at the end of the evening we noted we smelled cigarette smoke coming from the back of the restaurant we felt was quite unprofessional. This is the only time we have been at the restaurant. The owner wasn't there and our perception was that there was a step down in discipline among the staff that day“

“One of my favorite places to celebrate. Went last night with my kids to celebrate my 54th bday- we sat at a cozy booth in the main room-everything delicious from the garlic bread with marinara sauce, calamari, piccata, chicken parm, Alfredo, puttanesca and tiramisu for my bday with a song- which a lot of places don’t do anymore.
My martini was the best!“

“Came just before close on a Monday night to pick up a pepperoni. The shop is often bustling during lunch and dinner and the last few orders where getting boxed up as I came in. Grabbed the sodas we ordered and the pizza and headed out.
The pizza is delicious. A crunchy chewy crust throughout that makes you want to dip those crusts and a not too sweet sauce. While greasy, the pepperoni and cheese taste great and the ratio of toppings is perfect. Even the flat parts of curust offer a little crunch as you bite. I'm not an expert by any means but my wife who technically came from Brooklyn as a wee lass gives it a stamp of approval. If I recall correctly we had a couple slices ages ago here and the white pie should not be missed.“

“Overall i was satisfied with my experience. The food was delicious. I ordered a slice of pepperoni and a slice of the grandma pizza! Both had great flavor..for the pepperoni there was only about 4 small pepperoni on an otherwise large slice but other than that it was great.“

“we were lucky to have our baby shower at casa de pizza and joel and eddie are amazing owners. i was getting overwhelmed looking for venues and catering our baby shower, and we were so grateful that casa de pizza were open to having us. from day one, eddie and joel were responsive and put together a really nice menu with a drink package that was EXTREMELY REASONABLE for pricing. the baby shower itself was fantastic - pizza was solid, the pitchers were flowing, and the antipasto salad, wings, and lasagna were delicious. joel was on the floor making sure everyone was taken care of, and i cannot tell you how nice it was to walk in, celebrate, and walk out without having to worry about a thing. they even offered to let come a little earlier to decorate which was a nice gesture.
i also wanted to mention that we live in the neighborhood and have been going to casa de pizza since before new ownership. i've felt that the pizza and pasta are still very good, so i am surprised to read that people aren't satisfied. they've made some very positive changes by opening orders up for online and pick up. if you OG customers remember, we'd all have to fight each other calling the phone line just to get an order in, and it'd take us a solid 20 minutes of hearing the busy tone before getting someone to take our order, wait an hour, then pick it up. change is scary because it's new, but i feel like eddie and joel honor the tradition and respect of what casa de pizza was meant to be - your neighborhood pizza parlor.
we look forward to celebrating future birthdays and events here - they made it so easy and effortless so that we could enjoy our day.“

If you want to adjust your selection a bit they are happy to help in any way possible! The portions are good size to share. We love going there and the staff makes it cozy and welcoming. “Food is always good here and service as well. I love the endless soup with their meals. Lunch time is a great bargain. Wish they'd have have the option of the sandwiches coming on Italian bread than just all on the bread sticks but they are still pretty good for the price. I go for the meatball sand because it's a cheaper bargain price and I thought it was much better tasting than the chicken sandwich which was about the same as you'd get at Burger King. My wife and I come to Olive Garden mostly when they have the GET ONE TAKE ONE HOME DEAL. Can't beat that. The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is because all their chicken is not that good and is the same yuck kind you can get at any fast food joint. The meatballs are great. But then if you want to add them to you spaghetti dinner, they charge an extra $3 for 3 meatballs or sausage even. Then that makes spaghetti & meatballs come to about $16 and that is overpriced imo. On some visits the spaghetti sauce is caked with thick tomato slices in it and no other options because it's all made that day. Some days the sauce is more meaty and then the next visit tons of too much tomato slices and it's all watery. Also, being a bigger guy, almost every time we've been here, it's been a bit embarrassing being seated at booths that don't fit me and then having to move and I think the host or hostess should know better and know their tables. Otherwise this is a place we go to for lunch and only for dinner when they have the buy one take one home deal.“

“There is something wonderfully reassuring about an Italian restaurant that does not need to reinvent itself to remain relevant. In an age when dining rooms increasingly chase trends, this historic Woodland Hills establishment is a reminder that authenticity, tradition, and a sense of place can be far more compelling than culinary theatrics.
From the moment we arrived for our reservation, we were warmly received by the manager, whose hospitality immediately established the tone for the evening. The restaurant possesses that rare quality of feeling genuinely lived-in and established—an atmosphere shaped by years of serving its community rather than one manufactured for effect. It feels like a place with a story.
We began with a couple of Peronis, a fitting aperitivo before dinner, and eventually followed our server's recommendations for two dishes: the Chicken Parmigiano and the fettuccine al porcini.
The Chicken Parmigiano was the undisputed triumph of the evening. It was wonderfully comforting yet indulgent, delivering precisely the kind of soulful satisfaction one hopes for from a classic Italian-American preparation. The dish had the richness and familiarity of something deeply rooted in tradition, and it was easily the plate that left the strongest impression on us. In fact, it is reason enough for me to return.
The fettuccine al porcini was somewhat less successful. The pasta and mushroom component showed promise, but the chicken pieces incorporated into the dish were disappointing in both texture and overall appeal. We brought the matter to our server's attention during the meal, although, unfortunately, all that was offered was for it to be cooked again. From a hospitality perspective, this was a missed opportunity. When a guest offers constructive feedback while still at the table, the most memorable restaurants treat it as an invitation to make the experience better.
That said, perspective is important. One imperfect component does not define an entire restaurant, particularly when so much else succeeds. We came because of a friend's recommendation, and we leave with that recommendation still intact.
What ultimately distinguishes this restaurant is not perfection for perfection's sake, but character. There is an authenticity here that is increasingly difficult to find. The restaurant feels connected to the neighborhood, to Italian culinary tradition, and to the simple pleasure of gathering around a table for a proper meal.
For Woodland Hills and the greater San Fernando Valley, establishments with genuine history and identity are invaluable. This restaurant is, without question, a true asset to the neighborhood.
We will absolutely return and give the kitchen another opportunity to impress us. And when we do, I suspect the Chicken Parmigiano will be making another appearance at our table.
Thank you to the management and staff for the warm welcome and the evening.
Until next time—buon appetito.“

“Nice clean store and food was delicious. The girl at the front was so friendly and answered me questions about the menu. I ended up getting the lasagna garlic bread salad combo and it was so good and for less than $15! I ate the garlic bread first cuz it was so good that's why it's not in the picture LOL.“

“The hostess/server was welcoming and had a pleasant smile upon arriving. We were able to pick our own table and was attended right away. Ordered the Fried Calamari to start-lightly breaded with a really good marinara sauce. Ordered the Lasagna-super decadent in sauce and cheese, very good. Didn't feel rushed to leave by staff to accommodate other reservations despite being a Friday night. Wonderful spot if you love a great selection of Italian food. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Will definitely come back in the near future.“

“I’ve driven past this location on CA-27 dozens of times and always told myself I needed to stop in, so my partner and I finally booked a table last night. Honestly, I’m kicking myself for waiting this long to try it. Walking in, the dim ambient lighting and upscale linen tables set a highly sophisticated yet unpretentious tone. I ordered the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp, and she got the lasagna; the pasta was cooked to an absolute perfect al dente, and the cream sauce was remarkably rich without being overly heavy. The service was formal and highly polished, though the kitchen did run just a tiny bit slow right at the peak 7:30 PM dinner rush. It’s an absolute hidden treasure in Chatsworth, and the premium quality of ingredients completely justifies the price.“

“We had a wonderful experience at The Allegro of Bel Air Pizzeria. It’s a cozy spot with limited seating—only about seven tables—and a small parking lot that fits around five cars. We ordered a large pizza and two drinks, which came to about $38 before tip.
While the dining area is compact, the food is absolutely outstanding. Our pizza came out piping hot with fresh ingredients and a perfect cheese pull. The friendly staff and classic 'mom-and-pop' atmosphere really made the visit great. I highly recommend stopping by.“
