Their happy hour is amazing, and the Wednesday wine special is especially worth it, with premium wines offered at half price. They also have a full bar and plenty of great options for everyone. The salads, brick-oven pizzas, and small bites are all delicious, making it an easy place for a quick lunch, after-work drinks, or a relaxed dinner.

Since it’s so close to our office, we definitely need to come more often with the work crew. You really can’t go wrong with Rosti: casual atmosphere, lots to choose from, great specials, and consistently good food and service.“

“We were visiting for a bachelorette, this restaurant is in the cutest center with water and turtles. Complimentary valet if the parking lot isn’t full as well. Called ahead to ask questions and make a reservations and they were so sweet over the phone. While there, the waiters never let our glasses get empty and were so attentive! The food was delicious and they had many GF options. To top it off because we were celebrating our friend they gifted us complimentary champagne and tiramisu.

“What an incredible hidden gem! We were craving Italian food and decided to check out Al Italiano. Walked in on a Tuesday night a little before closing. Eddie and the owner Robert greeted us warmly. The menu has some great options and we were indecisive what to order. Our waiter Eddie is a first class professional and answered all our questions with patience and in details. His recommendations were amazing. We ordered Eggplant Parmesan, Veal Piccata, Children’s cheese pizza, Salumiere pizza and their homemade Tiramisu. Everything was excellent and so tasty. The whole experience at Al Italiano was outstanding and unforgettable. Robert is a great business owner who actually cares and treats you like family. His whole staff is very respectful and helpful. Try the calamari w/ worchester sauce. The salads are perfectly dressed. They have a solid pasta menu. Too many good options to name. And their meat and fish selections will cover most palates. Also need to mention the very cozy nice ambience inside. By cozy I mean warm and home-like. It is not tight seating. It just has an feeling you are in an intimate dining room. I ordered the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp, and she got the lasagna; the pasta was cooked to an absolute perfect al dente, and the cream sauce was remarkably rich without being overly heavy. The service was formal and highly polished, though the kitchen did run just a tiny bit slow right at the peak 7:30 PM dinner rush. It’s an absolute hidden treasure in Chatsworth, and the premium quality of ingredients completely justifies the price.“

In an age when dining rooms increasingly chase trends, this historic Woodland Hills establishment is a reminder that authenticity, tradition, and a sense of place can be far more compelling than culinary theatrics.

From the moment we arrived for our reservation, we were warmly received by the manager, whose hospitality immediately established the tone for the evening. The restaurant possesses that rare quality of feeling genuinely lived-in and established—an atmosphere shaped by years of serving its community rather than one manufactured for effect. It feels like a place with a story.

We began with a couple of Peronis, a fitting aperitivo before dinner, and eventually followed our server's recommendations for two dishes: the Chicken Parmigiano and the fettuccine al porcini.

The Chicken Parmigiano was the undisputed triumph of the evening. It was wonderfully comforting yet indulgent, delivering precisely the kind of soulful satisfaction one hopes for from a classic Italian-American preparation. The dish had the richness and familiarity of something deeply rooted in tradition, and it was easily the plate that left the strongest impression on us. In fact, it is reason enough for me to return.

The fettuccine al porcini was somewhat less successful. The pasta and mushroom component showed promise, but the chicken pieces incorporated into the dish were disappointing in both texture and overall appeal. We brought the matter to our server's attention during the meal, although, unfortunately, all that was offered was for it to be cooked again. From a hospitality perspective, this was a missed opportunity. When a guest offers constructive feedback while still at the table, the most memorable restaurants treat it as an invitation to make the experience better.

That said, perspective is important. One imperfect component does not define an entire restaurant, particularly when so much else succeeds. We came because of a friend's recommendation, and we leave with that recommendation still intact.

What ultimately distinguishes this restaurant is not perfection for perfection's sake, but character. There is an authenticity here that is increasingly difficult to find. The restaurant feels connected to the neighborhood, to Italian culinary tradition, and to the simple pleasure of gathering around a table for a proper meal.

For Woodland Hills and the greater San Fernando Valley, establishments with genuine history and identity are invaluable. This restaurant is, without question, a true asset to the neighborhood.

We will absolutely return and give the kitchen another opportunity to impress us. And when we do, I suspect the Chicken Parmigiano will be making another appearance at our table.

Wish they'd have have the option of the sandwiches coming on Italian bread than just all on the bread sticks but they are still pretty good for the price. My wife and I come to Olive Garden mostly when they have the GET ONE TAKE ONE HOME DEAL. Can't beat that. The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is because all their chicken is not that good and is the same yuck kind you can get at any fast food joint. The meatballs are great. But then if you want to add them to you spaghetti dinner, they charge an extra $3 for 3 meatballs or sausage even. Then that makes spaghetti & meatballs come to about $16 and that is overpriced imo. On some visits the spaghetti sauce is caked with thick tomato slices in it and no other options because it's all made that day. Some days the sauce is more meaty and then the next visit tons of too much tomato slices and it's all watery. Also, being a bigger guy, almost every time we've been here, it's been a bit embarrassing being seated at booths that don't fit me and then having to move and I think the host or hostess should know better and know their tables. Otherwise this is a place we go to for lunch and only for dinner when they have the buy one take one home deal.“
