“I met a few friends at Rosti this past week for happy hour; we sat on the patio and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. Since we ordered just a few appetizers, giving a true review of the food is limited. We ordered mussels, which were fine, bruschetta, which was incredibly delicious, and meatballs. I did not partake in the meatballs, but my friends shared that the turkey ones were not as good as the red meat ones. Our waiter was the highlight if I am truthful, patient, and personable. I hope to try this restaurant again soon to really experience what they have to offer.“
“We went for dinner with the family on a Tuesday night. The place has a high ceiling and is very open - much like an attic space. The counter at the front has a huge refrigerated case with nice looking pastries. We didn't try the pastries. We were seated and the waiter came quickly. She took our drink order and came back for our entree order right after. We all chose pasta. I had the bolognese tagliatelle. My husband had the plain red sauce. My husband reported that his pasta was great. Mine sauce was good but not great. It was soft and lacked depth, or character. The pasta itself was good, not the pasta. My main concern was the noise level. Granted, I'm not young, but the hard floors and high ceilings weren't softened by any soft covers, so it was deafening to me.“

“The angel pomodoro and beet salad was delicious. The server and food took a long time. I only saw one server for our section and she was busy serving but couldn't get her attention to ask for check. Toscanova is my regular restaurant but tonight, the service was less than usual“

“The pizza is very good, you won't find better in Calabasas. It gets extremely busy in there, so maybe that's why there's been some bad reviews for the phone skills. If you have a lot of people or kids to feed. I like to ask for extra cuts in the pizza. This makes for very thin slices and everyone seems to get enough.Ordering online was easy enough.I will be back.“

“What an incredible hidden gem! We were craving Italian food and decided to check out Al Italiano. Walked in on a Tuesday night a little before closing. Eddie and the owner Robert greeted us warmly. The menu has some great options and we were indecisive what to order. Our waiter Eddie is a first class professional and answered all our questions with patience and in details. His recommendations were amazing. We ordered Eggplant Parmesan, Veal Piccata, Children’s cheese pizza, Salumiere pizza and their homemade Tiramisu. Everything was excellent and so tasty. The whole experience at Al Italiano was outstanding and unforgettable. Robert is a great business owner who actually cares and treats you like family. His whole staff is very respectful and helpful. The ambiance is very Italian and welcoming. We found a true gem! Thank you Robert, Eddie and staff! We will be back soon!“

“I took my husband for Father’s Day brunch/lunch at our favorite Italian restaurant here in the Palisades and as always it did not disappoint. It never does. He loved his steak and eggs, steak was Devine and I loved my chick pea soup. Always have the panne cotta and the cherry gelato and an espresso in their delightful patio and you’ve been to Italy!“

“This restaurant surprised me, fun vibrant atmosphere suitable for adults... not for little kids. Full bar, experienced bartenders who have been working here for years. Food was delicious and well thought out. Parking was easy and plentiful.“

“Eaten from here several times recently, all near closing. The food was really good, we got birria tacos and burritos, and they were delicious. The oreo shake was good both times and the churro was tasty as well. Staff is very friendly and this seems very family run. Didn't eat in, but theres adequate seating and room for wheelchairs. They are currently doing a toy drive for kids which is very sweet. Recommended“

The wait staff and bar staff super friendly and personable and Jill (bartender, wine connoisseur and server extraordinaire) is a great reason to keep coming back! It’s like stopping by to see one of your closest friends. Oh…and the olive oil lemon custard cake is AMAZING!!!“

“Today Brooklyn wanted to take us to a very special place. Presto Pasta, we were all so happy because Brooklyn used to work here and everyone was so kind
I got the shrimp scampi. It was soooo good, the best pasta I’ve ever laid taste buds on. Willy and I hated it. Can ya tell???
There’s a very nice flower on the table.
Today we went to a wedding, it was a lot of fun. It was Brooklyns cousin getting married to a good man. Don’t these 2 ladies know they aren’t supposed to look better than the bride?;)
We had a great day?
Parking: Parking was so fun!
Kid-friendliness: Everyone was so kind to the children
Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible“

“I had a great experience at Casa Nostra all around. The service was very attentive and quick. The manager, waiter, and bussers were all very sharp and worked together to get us anything we asked for immediately. We had three dishes that we split between two people. It was a perfect amount of food, and they were kind enough to pre-split the dishes since they knew we were sharing. The mozzarella and tomatoes in the caprese were perfectly fresh. The branzino was cooked to the ideal temperature. We appreciated the basket of fresh bread they bring out at the beginning as well. It's a very nice restaurant that's not cramped in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. I will be returning with more friends and family.“

“It's our go-to restaurant in Pacific Palisades! We love the food, the service, the ambience and it's a mile from our house. We're so happy they came to our neck of the woods! We love the Chinese chicken salad among many other things on their menu. Everything they make at Spruzzo is fresh, creative and delish!!!“

“Excellent service, and extensive, interesting menu choices, including an impressive list of specials. Duck ragu was delicious, as were sand dabs (which are hard to find and greatly appreciated). Having learned it was our anniversary, Casa Nostra gave us a delightful surprise--delicious housemade tiramisu, best I've had in a long time. Also a good wine list, reasonably priced with Italian selections as well as California.“

“The pizza here is really good, they sell it whole or by the slice. I just got the cheese, it was $6 for a slice and they also had these rip and dip breads that looked good I would like to try next time. They have some tables outside to enjoy some sun. Woman at the register was very friendly.“

“Found this Italian spot that's more hidden than a secret pizza recipe. Inside, it's all buzzing, mostly with folks who seem to know the owner like they're old pals. Food is top-notch - from the steaming minestrone to the personalized fettuccine, all cooked to perfection. Plus, you won't have to break the bank to enjoy a meal here. One visit and you're hooked - it's that kind of place. Can't wait to head back!“

“My wife and I have been dining at Gravina for Valentine’s Day ever since we started dating and now into our marriage. We love this place. The atmosphere is perfect for a romantic dinner with your loved one. The food is amazing, it’s never let us down. If you’re looking for a place for a romantic dinner or just looking for some authentic Italian cuisine, I would recommend Gravina 11 time out of 10.“

“Food is always good here and service as well. I love the endless soup with their meals. Lunch time is a great bargain. Wish they'd have have the option of the sandwiches coming on Italian bread than just all on the bread sticks but they are still pretty good for the price. I go for the meatball sand because it's a cheaper bargain price and I thought it was much better tasting than the chicken sandwich which was about the same as you'd get at Burger King. My wife and I come to Olive Garden mostly when they have the GET ONE TAKE ONE HOME DEAL. Can't beat that. The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is because all their chicken is not that good and is the same yuck kind you can get at any fast food joint. The meatballs are great. But then if you want to add them to you spaghetti dinner, they charge an extra $3 for 3 meatballs or sausage even. Then that makes spaghetti & meatballs come to about $16 and that is overpriced imo. On some visits the spaghetti sauce is caked with thick tomato slices in it and no other options because it's all made that day. Some days the sauce is more meaty and then the next visit tons of too much tomato slices and it's all watery. Also, being a bigger guy, almost every time we've been here, it's been a bit embarrassing being seated at booths that don't fit me and then having to move and I think the host or hostess should know better and know their tables. Otherwise this is a place we go to for lunch and only for dinner when they have the buy one take one home deal.“

“I recently had the pleasure of enjoying an incredible dinner with my family that left us all thoroughly satisfied. I personally chose the mushroom risotto, which was rich and flavorful, while other members of my family delighted in the Butternut Squash Ravioli, Fettuccine Alfredo, and the Sand Dabs, each dish expertly prepared and bursting with taste. To finish, we indulged in the decadent crème brûlée and the warm, comforting chocolate chip bread pudding for dessert, both of which were simply divine. The portions were impressively generous, ensuring no one left hungry, and the waitstaff provided service that was both friendly and attentive, making our dining experience all the more enjoyable. Overall, it was an exceptional meal that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. Thanks guys!“

“Angelini is simply the best dining experience available in Pacific Palisades. It is our go-to for special occasions and turns any night out into a celebration. Our favorite dishes include the Angelini salad and the Polipo. The dinner-entree Branzino is the best we've had anywhere in Los Angeles. We recommend Angelini most highly.“

“As a 4th generation Italian cook, the food is ok...but it DEFINITELY fed my child after his track practice and there was a fundraiser.
Parking: The parking directly in front of the restaurant is tight but to the side it's a bit easier.
Kid-friendliness: I've an 4 kids (3 teens and 1 pre teen) my preteen is autistic, when it's busy it can be too loud but to others it's a normal teens gathering loud. It's down the street from a high school, so yes it can be crowded and loud.
Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible.“

“My husband and I had a WONDERFUL dinner here. The menu is varied, with plenty of sandwich choices, as well as traditional Italian main dishes. We began by splitting a Caesar salad, which was plenty for two. We ordered Bruschetta as an appetizer; they were HUGE (hand sized) and delicious (toasted bread covered with mounds of buffalo mozzarella, diced tomatoes, and a drizzle of a balsamic oil). There were four of them, and we only ate two because we didn't want to spoil our appetite for our main course. My husband had a traditional chicken parmesan which he enjoyed very much. I had a New York steak sandwich that was prepared to perfection. It was so large, the equivalent of two sandwiches. Our server was attentive, and the hostess was very outgoing. With everything going for it (see other reviews), it's surprising that the restaurant was not busy at all (we went on a Thursday evening). Perhaps it is because it is not easily viewable from the street, since it is inside a hotel. You should definitely try this place out; you will not be disappointed.“

“After a fulfilling 3.5-mile hike with a friend, our appetites were ready for action. Initially, we had plans to dine at Matthews Garden Cafe next door, but their willingness to accommodate two people and a stroller left something to be desired. So, we ventured next door and settled by the fountain in the outdoor seating area. Our culinary journey kicked off with the delightful indulgence of warm bread, impeccably paired with a truly delightful olive oil and balsamic vinegar duo. What followed was an unforgettable bruschetta - easily ranking among the best I've ever savored. The tomatoes burst with flavor, harmoniously balanced with just the right amount of garlic. The toasted bread, brushed with olive oil, elevated the experience to sheer perfection. Don't miss this dish. For our main course, we decided to share the pasta special of the day, Rigatoni Romana, and a pizza. The rigatoni arrived cloaked in a delectable pink sauce, escorted by pancetta and red onions. The flavors were spot on, although I did wish for a bit more crispiness in the pancetta. As for the pizza, we opted for bufalo mozzarella and added meatballs, mushrooms, and olives. The mushrooms did introduce a touch of sogginess, as expected, and the meatballs could have benefited from a tad more salt. Overall, the pizza was decent, though we couldn't help but wonder if it might have shone even brighter with fewer toppings. In summary, our dining experience was truly outstanding, with the bruschetta and pasta special stealing the show. It's worth noting that we customized our pasta with a generous sprinkle of Parmesan and a pinch of crushed red pepper, which elevated its flavors even further. While the pizza had its moments, we couldn't help but speculate that a simpler approach might have yielded a more remarkable outcome.
Kid-friendliness: They had high chairs available and overall had a very accommodating attitude.“

“Tomato Pie Pizza at this location is baked to perfection and tastes incredible. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to take a photo of my pizza because I was too eager to enjoy it, but I’ll try to snap a picture next time. The pepperoni, in particular, is a standout and surpasses any other I’ve tried elsewhere. It comes highly recommended. The crust, cheese, and all other components are exceptionally delicious. I strongly recommend it to everyone in Woodland Hills and beyond. It’s definitely worth the drive! They also offer pizza by the slice, which is fantastic.“
