“Went here for my birthday after friends recommended - had no idea how cool this place would be! From the outside, you definitely don't expect it to be as special as it is inside. We loved the little bites we got. For two of us, it came to about $180 (we ordered about 8 things so not bad). Our favorites were the yellowtail cilantro roll, crispy shrimp & yellowtail sushi. A little bit of a backup when we first arrived (drinks came after our apps came) but I guess they got a rush that they didn't expect. We'll definitely be back, not enough places like this in the area! Loved. :)”

“Let me just start by saying or family loves BBQ. We've traveled all over the south, and check out at least one spot in every city. I never expected to find a place this good, this authentic, in California. The food experience was so phenomenal. Wagyu brisket was my favorite. I'm a traditionalist, I don't like a lot of sauce. This place let's the meat speak for itself. Wonderfully seasoned. My wife was all about the ribs, and they were amazingly moist. She had me try their mustard based sauce and wow, was it good. If your in the area, or not... just make it a destination. You won't be disappointed.”

“We had an amazing dinner at Kabob Village. We ordered the queens platter. It came with a verity of kabobs, veggies and rice . It was all very delicious. We also really enjoyed the lentil soup, shirazi salad and hummus. The service was really good. Definitely will be back.”

“Wow! What a find! We came here late on a Sunday morning probably around 11. We ordered a bagel sandwich, a bagel with spread, and a pizza bialy. Everything was delicious and the staff was friendly and efficient. The bagels were so soft and delicious, and they were NOT super chewy where you have to fight to tear off a piece of the bagel. I hate when I can't take a bite of a bagel and easily chew off a piece. These ones were perfect. They have a rotating bagel flavor every day of the week which is cool because you get to try something new. The one we had was cheddar garlic with delicious and copious amounts of roasted garlic confit which was absolutely magical. My egg bagel sandwich they warned me would be messy with the garlic confit, the cream cheese, the turkey, and the tomato, but that's how I like it! Just be prepared! The pizza bialy was so dang good! They put everything on a half bagel so you get plenty of cheese and tomato sauce. Absolutely perfect. This was our first time as we had just moved to the area, but man are we glad we found it!”

“This Mediterranean restaurant proved to be an excellent selection for lunch. It was our first visit, and we are delighted that we chose to stop by. The food was truly delicious and surpassed the quality of our usual Mediterranean dining establishments. The individual at the register was exceptionally friendly and provided excellent assistance. We also had the pleasure of trying their garlic sauce for the first time, and it was incredibly flavorful. The portion sizes offered great value for the price. Both indoor and outdoor seating options are available. We opted to dine outdoors due to the pleasant weather. The interior of the restaurant is remarkably clean and quiet, making it an ideal setting for enjoying a meal alone or with loved ones. We certainly plan to visit again when we are in the Calabasas area.”

“Great SOUPS! Very delicious and made with high quality ingredients. Friendly atmosphere and owner of the restaurant is friendly professional intelligent man. He poured 2 cups of soup for me and my little daughter complemented and the soups were the best what I ate for a years! I’m a soup lover and tested different soups in many countries around the world but Sole Soups Calabasas place is the greatest restaurant in my experience!”

“To be honest I don't know where to begin...perhaps explosion of wow inside of my mouth! The tacos here are amazeballs covered in awesome sauce. I eat here regularly for lunch and have become ADDICTED! The food is amazing, the service is bar none, and I love the large screen tv while you wait for your order. It's hard to imagine food this great being inside a Chevron but don't let that make you miss out on truly terrific tacos! There are lots of other snacks and items to be found in this location that makes going for tacos all the better! The price...fuggedabout it! Taqueria Las Virgenes I love you!”

“Food was very good and large portions. However, our server was non existent. All of her tables were outside and just ours was inside. We rarely saw her. Had to ask others when we wanted to add an item to our order, needed more water and wanted our check. Made no sense why everyone around us had the same server and just our table in the corner inside was assigned to an outside server. Poor planning and execution.”

“Best pastries and cakes you can buy, excellent customer service, very friendly staff. Yes they went through a name change, but still the same owners. If you pay attention to the sign on the counter, it explains the reason for the name change. Same great tasting goodie’s. I will continue to take my drive all the way from West Covina. “The sushi here is absolutely excellent, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can really taste the quality in every bite. It’s also such a great value for the price, which makes the experience even better. I especially recommend the vegetarian roll, which was delicious, and the salmon avocado roll, which was perfectly balanced and so satisfying. The specialty dishes are fantastic as well, the crispy tuna dish, in particular, was outstanding and full of flavor.
One detail I really noticed and appreciated was how beautifully they cut the avocado. It’s such a small thing, but it shows the level of care and attention that goes into every plate, making the presentation just as enjoyable as the taste.
I really like that there’s the option to order individual rolls from the menu, which I personally preferred. At the same time, they also offer really good lunch specials that are generous and worth checking out if you want a complete meal at a great price. We came here for dinner and everything exceeded expectations.
Another thing that stood out, aside from the food, was the care and attention from the chef. It’s clear that he pays attention to his customers and takes pride in making sure everyone has a great experience, which adds so much to the atmosphere. The service overall was warm, attentive, and friendly, making the evening even more enjoyable.
I also have to mention the ginger — it was excellent, fresh, and had just the right flavor, which I personally loved. It elevated the sushi perfectly and showed the thoughtfulness that goes into the small details here.
Overall, this restaurant is a real gem. From the fresh and delicious sushi to the beautifully cut avocado, the attentive chef, excellent service, and even the little touches like the quality ginger, everything came together to make it a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended for both lunch and dinner!”

“Shibuya in Calabasas is extremely popular for a reason. The wait can be long, but the food is absolutely worth it. The fish tasted very fresh, the portions were generous, and everything we tried was delicious.

I really enjoyed the shrimp sushi with roe, the hand roll, and the crispy fried shrimp head with the dipping sauce — so flavorful and beautifully prepared. The sake selection was also a nice touch and paired well with the meal.

The restaurant is small and busy, so I recommend going early and putting your name on the waitlist. The atmosphere is casual and lively, and even though it can get crowded, the quality of the sushi makes the experience feel special.

Definitely one of the best sushi spots in Calabasas. I’ll be coming back.”

“Everything was delicious! However, I did not care for how they serve their Affogato... They put the Expresso in the Ice Cream before serving it. It should be served with the Expresso on the side.... otherwise the Ice Cream is toooo melted when it is served!!! Service was excellent!”
