Easily the BEST Sushi in SoCal. Been to many high and low, NOTHING compares to this. Incredible rolls, perfect fusion of sauces and pairings/toppings, pricey yes, but superior in every way. Much better comfort and variety than other version waaay down the road on Ventura Blvd. Their mushroom soup is to die for, and they have not only a soy sauce but a YUZU bottle on the table!
Yume has delicious sushi! The fish was really fresh, and we enjoyed the nigiri and hand rolls. For appetizers, we tried the popcorn shrimp and crispy rice, and both were really good. They also have a great sake selection. The service was very attentive throughout our meal, and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. There’s both street and valet parking available. Definitely a great spot for fresh sushi in Calabasas.
I really love Yume Calabasas! So much so that I go out of my way to dine at this location even though the other is closer to me. Lovely environment, friendly service, and delicious food. My favorites are the sea bass roll, the citrus roll, and the cilantro roll.
