“OK, maybe a 4.5 star. I have been going here for decades. The menu is diverse offering seafood, like most don't. This isn't the bad cooking smothered in mole sauce and delivered to your table like others. I think the current star rating is not a good as they really are. The reviews are pretty old, so I thought I would update mine. Will be back this week.“
“Great seafood restaurant for fairly decent price this day and age (March 2024). Definitely suggest it to people that reside in northern LA county! We got there super early at 4:45 on a start of daylight savings time/Oscar night. Still it got pretty busy towards the end when we left after our dinner.“
“Came here for a birthday celebration and it was just great. Really fun atmosphere and such good food! Our steaks were GREAT! The sides were also amazing, including the bread and the dessert and everything else. Really great night! Definitely eat here when visiting Malibu!“
“Outstanding! The reputation is deserved! 2 tips: you can only enter the parking lot from PCH northbound, and get there early to avoid the long line. The line moves quickly and our food came quickly, but we saw 30+ people in line to order while we ate. Our fish and scallops were fresh, the batter was crispy and light, the fries were too notch. And they have RC Cola! Highest recommendation!’“
“Been there multiple times - our favorites have been the rolls and the lobster tacos. Also needs to be paired with the fries and tater tots half and half mix. It’s the perfect meal. Parking is the only downside. The lot for that building is super expensive so we usually spend a couple extra minutes finding street parking. But it’s worth it for really well-priced, fresh, well-seasoned lobster and crab meat- and really friendly service!“
“If I could give 6 stars I would!! The food, service, and ambiance was exceptional! My family and I felt so welcomed the second we walked in. Everything I tried was phenomenal but my favorite would have to be the butter chicken, garlic naan, and mango lassi. Zohir, the owner, also made time to talk to us and he was such a joy. He checked up on us multiple times to ensure we were having a great meal (which we did)!! This was by far the best service I have ever gotten. If you live nearby or just passing through, please try Anarbagh you won't regret it!“
“Fantastic service great vibe. Food was good a little above average. They are a cantina but DO NOT serve alcohol. They said they will be soon but as of our visit they did not. The pork belly was amazing and the best dish we had. The quest fundido was delicious but the addition of chorizo would have made it over the top delicious. The Asada is not a traditional Carne Asada. It was a bit chewy and I would not get it again. The breakfast tacos were delicious. You can't go wrong giving this place a try and maybe you'll enjoy the asada more than we did. I will definitely be back once they open the bar and give other items a try.“
“Our corporate office celebrated our annual Thanksgiving and Diwali since this is a multi-cultural office. Thanks to the staff at the New Indian Palace for the assistance with the catering order and delivery. All of my colleagues were very pleased with the great quality and delicious food. I highly recommended this place. The owners are very nice people and very professional.“
“I'm so happy to have found this gem of a restaurant! The owner greeted me by name as we walked in the door-she was so sweet (her name is Lily). We loved everything we ordered (the grilled fish, the sample platter, the rice dish). We look forward to our next dining experience very soon. Go try it! You won't be disappointed.“
“Tel Aviv Fish Grill is such a great spot located in Tarzana. They specialize in serving fresh and flavorful Mediterranean-style seafood and breakfast dishes. My favorites are their shakshuka and the fried fish. The atmosphere at Tel Aviv Fish Grill is casual and inviting. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure you have a great dining experience. They also have outdoor seating available. If you're a fan of Mediterranean cuisine and seafood, I highly recommend checking out Tel Aviv Fish Grill.“
“Just passed through Vietnam, craving Asian food.Come try the Thai restaurant near your houseOh what a surprise, so deliciousAuthentic crab fried riceAuthentic sour hot potOkay papaya saladPadthai is a bit salty, please add a squeeze of lemon for ten points mmmmWill come back!!!“
“My wife and I visited the Lure Fish House in Westlake Village on April 6th. The restaurant has a great design and was very busy but service was still quick. We had the sea bass, seared scallops, and a couple of drinks. Both entrees were delicious and the drinks hit the spot. A couple days after we left I realized that I had left my credit card. I called the restaurant and talked with the general manger and he found the card. Unfortunately I live about 140 miles away but the GM offered to send my the card which I received shortly later. I just want to say the restaurant not only has great food, service, but they are also very honest and we will definitely return. Thank you, David and Lucia“
“Really great place. They have a lot of local beers on tap such as Enegren, Topa Topa, Made West, along with a few others. They have big TVs all around with sports games on, it gives more of a sport bar vibe than a Mexican restaurant. The service was really fast and friendly. The food was really good I had the Carne Asada Tacos Street Style and the Chicken Nachos. I feel the Tacos were a little pricey at $3.75 each however the Chicken Nachos which I think were $12 were really good and came with lots of toppings and the Guacamole that comes on the Nachos was tasty as well. Over all great place to chill and eat some great Mexican food.“
“Great experience all around. Very attentive service and excellent food. We ordered shrimp and salmon dishes that were very tasty. Also tried the tiramisu and it was so creamy and fresh. We all had a great time w happy hour wine deals. Great place for family or intimate dinner. Will be back.“
“This place is absolutely delicious. The service was great we got seated right away and our waiter who seemed like the owner as well did an amazing job giving us the best customer service. The food is some of the best Salvadorian food I've had in a restaurant, definitely tastes more homemade which I love. I definitely recommend this spot and I hope to be back soon!“
“Been coming here for years since I was in college. Love the food and the people behind the counter; they’re always so welcoming and cheerful. I’ve only had item from the vegan menu, because I think they’re much better off the bag. I recommend the yellow curry - with soy chicken - if you don’t know what to eat here.“
“Customer service alone brings this place to 5 stars. The owner is a sweetheart and checked in on us throughout dinner and gave us the best recommendations. The food was incredibly tasty, I had the vegetable biryani and vegetable samosa and both were so good. The food came out quickly and tasted fresh. The place is clean and the decor is so cute. Excited to come back and try more food!“
“Duke's Malibu offers a captivating blend of coastal charm and exquisite cuisine. With stunning ocean views, fresh seafood dishes, and friendly service, it's a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in Malibu. It does have limited food options for dinner. That's why four stars.“
“I was really stoked to have found such a classic, while my way up the coastline. This place has the feel for the kind of mental imagery, or thought bubble, that comes to mind when you think of the phrase," local seafood restaurant," and the food definitely didn't disappoint us either. The entree portions leaned more toward large and the servings were generous in all areas of the menu, we felt like overall, it was a good value for the money and favoured the taste saved on the roof of a seasoned pallet, as well as, the satisfaction of the wide eyed stomach to the pockets of the people profiting behind the brand.“
“Truly a hidden gem! I don't usually post reviews but I have to tell people about this place! Dropped in with a couple friends. I had the pappardelle bolognese. Fresh pasta made in the house! My friend had the Pollo Limone (lemon chicken). She loved it! My other friend had the Dover sole special with the lemon mustard dressing and the server debone the fish at the table! So cool! Great wine list and delicious food! Hostess was so funny and a joy to talk to! A definite must go if you are in the area! They also have a deli we will try next time. We will be back for sure!“
“I had gone to aguachilles sushi and had the miso it tasted like tap water super disgusting. Kept wanting to try this place. Really glad I did my boys love the miso and the food is delicious! Definitely coming back! You have to try the whole menu so good! Thank you for treating my babies so well!“
“This place was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The lunch buffet was excellent... authentic flavors. The tandoori chicken was super tender and flavorful. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend Delhi Palace to anyone looking for delicious and authentic Indian cuisine.“
“Hadn't been here since 2022 when I had an unpleasant experience with the branch. Decided to give it another shot with visiting family and had a much much better experience this time. Food was expectedly great; customer service now 5 stars. Shoutout to manager Andres for his kindness and honoring store credit that was offered back in 2022. Really made me and my family want to start dining here again.“
“Larsens is number one in SoCal for me. I like Flemings but Larsens is still The One❤️. I gave three stars on service because I grabbed a table in the lounge and waited maybe 9-10 mins ppl walking around it wasnt busy and nobody came to my table, went back to the front to make a change and the host (1 of 4ppl) could have done better at grabbing me a seat in the very empty dinning room instead of going through it to the point that I almost bailed. My server was on point and I appreciated that! I ordered 2 Rib Eye Steaks to conpare the 18 oz to the 20 oz… 18 won ALL THE WAY! I took them both to go. Thanks Larsens see you again soon“
“We wanted to treat our local Fire Department for dinner as a thank you for their service. I had called Monty's inquiring about this and if they could assist me with having it delivered to the station. While this is a dine in establishment, they went above and beyond to ensure the food was delivered on time. I'm beyond grateful for the amazing service and can't say enough great things about the food! Thank you Monty's for your contribution in helping us give back! Very much appreciated. Tracy - DPM“
“We moved out to Agoura in July of 2023, and after a few months of trying a variety of local restaurants the Adobe Cantina became our go to spot for Mexican cuisine.Taco Tuesday is great for a variety of taco options, the fajitas are legit, the enchiladas are top notch, and the margaritas are always enjoyed. Our 1 year old really loves the rice, beans, and cheese quesadillas. My mom says the Adobe Cantina makes the best chile relleno she has ever had. This restaurant has ample parking in their lot, but there is also street parking right outside. There is a lot of inside seating, but an abundance of outside seating as well. We have never waited for a table, and the service is AMAZING. I will say that all of the staff is phenomenal, but Ricardo is one of the best waiters I have ever run into.Adobe Canrina is always delicious , very friendly, and worth the visit!“
“The new location of the Woodlands Hills restaurant is an upgrade in all respects. It also seemed quite busy for a Tuesday evening and louder than our last visit at the old location. As usual, the service provided by Josh and his support staff was constantly attentive and very friendly. The food was great tasting as always but I do have one complaint. I had the 16 oz. rib-eye, a favorite, perfectly medium-rare and well-seasoned. Unfortunately, I should have asked for a sharper knife: it was pretty rubbery and had more connective tissue throughout than I've had in restaurant-quality meat. Should I have said something? Maybe but we were enjoying dinner with friends, I didn't want to sit with no food and I thought it would improve as I went. It didn't. I kept pulling pieces off (literally, couldn't quite get the serrated knive to cut through some places) until the white strings were left behind for the next bite. At least being overly chewy meant I enjoyed the flavor longer. Hopefully, this was an anomaly as my first, less than great experience at Ruth's Chris.“
“I was going somewhere else but the wait was too long and I am glad it was, because that's how I found this place. Way cheaper than other Cajun around here. Tastier, great service, beautiful decoration, TV and great music. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.“
“Great location right by the sea, great food with everything that goes with it, great service, thank you for the wonderful experience!Dietary restrictions: Lots of vegetarian dishes, the risotto was to die for!Parking: Unfortunately only valet parking, $14 is questionable, but a visit to the restaurant makes up for it!Kid-friendliness: Additional chairs for childrenWheelchair accessibility: Ramp available“
“First time at Bao and it was fantastic. We place an rder for two and the clerk took our order with ease. 15 minute wait and we took our food home. The food was fabulous tastes and piping hot. Excellent Choice and next time we dine in because the atmosphere was very comfortable. Thank You !!Parking: Parking is plentyful infront of the restaurant in a parking lot of there place.Wheelchair accessibility: No problems wheeling into this dining area.“
“There aren't many plant-based options. Their grilled zucchini is very good, and I highly recommend it! My family loves the fish tacos and pasta! I don't recommend the clam chowder. Overall, good food, but I wish there were more plant-based options!“
“Everything is very delicious, the food is Mazatlan Sinaloa style, we always buy the breaded sushi, Aguachile Negro Tacos Gobernador and the Empanadas, all very delicious. The owners are very friendly and take care of you as it should be. 100% “
“It was my first time here, although I'm allergic to everything from the sea except fish, which I only eat 3-4 times per year, I was able to find something that I could digest. The chicken tenders with lemon pepper fries are a must-have!! Coming from the Caribbean, the seasoning used for this dish is one I've never experienced. This plate can be ? so be careful!!!“
“We were introduced to this Fish Grill a while ago and found the food and ambience amazing. So when our family from Boston came to visit we had to bring them here. They were super impressed with the food. The service was top notch. Service with a smile everywhere we turn. We had the Branzino and the Sea Bream. They start you out with some lovely condiments and humus. We also love their Pita Bread - nice and fluffy and oh so yummy. The grilled Eggplant was simply delicious. Our guest really enjoyed the food.“
“This place is that your definition of a hole in the wall. It's a cute little restaurant with really great service and shockingly excellent sushi! I went in there for lunch one day not expecting much and left a fan. I can't tell you how many times I've been back since! I consider myself to be pretty bougie when it comes to sushi and this place meets all my needs. Shout out to the sushi chefs, Fiat, Tom, & Tan!!If you're picky you won't be disappointed. Unbelievably fresh sushi, amazing quality, and let's not forget they put the plates out with beautiful presentation!! I highly recommend I tend to order some of the more expensive stuff but they have a menu that will suit any budget!“
“The best Marinara sauce I have had on the west coast! So vibrant and full of flavor! Its not scorched! No bitterness from overcooked tomato sauce! Thank you! The chicken Marsala is divine...so smooth. The Chicken Picasa nice and tender. Tiramisu to tempt the tastebuds...superb. Service is spot on and very attentive. Look no further...this is it!“
“As a seafood enthusiast, I recently discovered Fishbone Seafood in the heart of Woodland Hills, and let me tell you--it's a true culinary treasure! From the moment I stepped inside, the friendly staff made me feel right at home. Their professionalism and warm smiles set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The restaurant's ambiance is nothing short of immaculate. It's a hidden gem and I honestly highly recommend 100%! I had the fried fish, shrimp, and oyster (3way)and it was delicious. The sides were good as well, I had the rice and beans and fried plantains ! Cant wait to come back and try the seafood boil!!!“
“The lunch special was great, I got the shrimp and lobster sauceThe interior was clean, nice decorations , and they still have holiday decorations up! Great ones!My server was Jeff and he was so polite, checked in on me regularly, and gave me some great recommendationsI’ll be coming back for dinner as well“
“If you are looking for a clean, great service, and good pho place this is the place to go! The place is very laid back and perfect if you're going with your love one or going to have a catch up with a friend. So far this is also the best egg roll we've ever had. I am definitely going back!“
“The food is now much better under the new management. We were there Sunday night. Unfortunately it was empty. Of course we had quick service and very fresh food. There were several takeout customers during our stay. I hope more people re-discover this place and it can survive. We will be back.“
“The food is so good and fresh. The portions and price is reasonable. I ordered through the website and it was very easy to order. I believe the restaurant is only doing takeout. The chicken fried rice and pad sew ew are delicious and have a very good taste.Parking: If you are coming in from Reseda, you will have to go in through the bike lane and then make a right turn into the lot“
“The food was amazing! My friend and I got the chicken hotpot, satay skewers, and fried noodles. The atmosphere was so nice, and perfect for hotpot. The wait wasn’t too long and the server was so kind! It’s a nice cozy restaurant, with amazing food, and kind workers I highly recommend!“
“A great steakhouse. That is what it is and if you are going for the so-called modern place is not that. Great food the best service. Well prepared steak, seasoned lightly, and cooked perfectly. The sides were a perfect size. The cobber was fantastic.“
“Had some of the freshes seafood in the valley. They add some of there own style into the ceviche. Also love that they have clam in their ceviche as not many places do this. Customer service is amazing as well. If you're a tuna lover this place is for you.“
“Always great food and excellent service Whenever we eat at Lure Fish House in Porter Ranch, we can count on having a great meal. But we also can expect excellent service. Our recent visit was a little more extraordinary because of our server, Mar. Since we had been there before, but it had been a while, Mar asked if we knew what we wanted or if we wanted to hear the menu explained. We chose the latter. She also asked if we had allergies, which we did not. Not many restaurants ask that, which can be important because not all ingredients are listed and some people forget to mention it. We ordered our usual cup of Clam Chowder and asked about the Dungeness Crab Cocktail. Mar told us what we wanted to hear and ordered it. We shared both appetizers and enjoyed them both. For our entrées, my wife stepped out of her comfort zone and did not order her usual but rather the White Sea Bass in Almondine-style, which is crusted with breadcrumbs, parmesan and almonds. I went with my semi-usual of the Crispy Fish, Shrimp & Chips Combo, but with Pineapple Coleslaw, on the suggestion of Mar during the explanation of the menu. When the meals arrived, my wife said the Sea Bass was good, but she probably would not get it that way again. Mar checked in on us and my wife repeated what she had told me. Mar then said, "I have just the sauce to make it better." She returned with the sauce that comes with the Sally's Sand Dabs, which is a lemon caper sauce. My wife said it changed the entire meal and was amazing, which she thanked Mar for when she again checked in on us. For me, the Pineapple Cole Slaw matched perfectly with the fish and shrimp. I never would have thought of that. Mar truly knows the menu and what pairs well and complements each dish. I believe we will be visiting more often, asking for Mar on each visit and stepping out of our comfort zones more often, with Mar's guidance. Thank you.“
“Nice little mom and pop Thai place in Chatsworth. Their soups are really tasty, in addition to their fish dishes! The interior of the restaurant could be freshened up a bit , but on the other hand Khung Dang is a hole in the wall a random shopping center in Chatsworth. Next time I'm in the area and craving Thai, I would consider returning here!“
“This is my favorite local Poke spot. When they first opened it was pretty good, but over the years, it got a little worse. Recently, although, the fish quality and the food has been better than ever before or so it seems at least. Always super tasty! Clean seating area if you want to eat in. The people working there are also always very kind as well!“
“Was able to try this food truck that was parked on my street. Haven't had a seafood boil in a while so I was pretty excited. Got the special #2 with lobster tail, 1/2 pound of shrimp, sausage, corn and potato for around $34. I got a mix of mild and spicy Cajun for a good medium spice. The first thing I noticed was how much flavor was in the sauce. The sausage, corn and potatoes were all great. The shrimp was good, just takes a little work as normal with seafood boils. I would prefer an option without the head-on. The lobster tail was the only mild disappointment, due to the meat being a little tougher than I'm used to with lobster tail. Overall the food was pretty good and the service as well. I'd try it again to get the crab leg and shrimp special.“
“Both my wife and I ordered the 2 piece fish combo. The batter on the fish was crunchy and good, not overly oily. And the fish inside was moist and tasty. We also got a side of onion rings that were crunchy and flavorful. The owner is super nice.“
“I've been here twice now and I must say I am very pleased. The first time I got one of their pastas I got the rigatoni and spicy vodka sauce and it was a creamy delight but just the right amount. I went again for my moms birthday Friday night and ordered the Parmesan crusted halibut and it was perfectly cooked, moist, well seasoned, and cleverly balanced with the amount of parmesan on the crust of the fish. Their wine list is wonderful too providing excellent reds/whites/roses from highly rated regions so the pairings with the food helps balance out the flavors nicely. Very happy with both experiences and would highly recommend this place!“
