My go-to dishes are the Tequila Lime Shrimp Pasta and the Charbroiled Oysters. The pasta is packed with flavor and perfectly cooked, while the oysters are an absolute must-try. Everything tastes fresh and is prepared with care.

“I love accessing the Sara Wan trailhead at Malibu Seafood — it’s one of my go-to Malibu hikes. And after the trail loop, Malibu Seafood is the perfect spot to grab something fresh and enjoy the ocean-view patio. Definitely one of those classic Malibu combos I never get tired of.“

“Gladstone Restaurant was an amazing experience. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. The views are absolutely perfect, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy your meal. The best part is that the beach is right next to the restaurant, so once you're done eating, you can walk over, sit by the water, and enjoy the rest of your day. Great food, beautiful scenery, and the perfect location. Highly recommended!“

“Some of the best seafood I’ve ever had!!! My family and I usually order the shrimp cocktail, raw shrimp ceviche, fish tacos, empanadas, aguachile negro.. But you really can’t go wrong with ordering here. Everything will be delicious. They’re fast, quality of seafood is excellent, and they’re not greedy with tostadas or crackers for to go orders. Also not greedy with the amount of shrimp your cocktail will have unlike some places that give you three shrimps at best lol. One time we accidentally got charged twice for a pickup order and they refunded us super quick and were apologetic over the honest mistake. I can’t recommend this seafood truck enough!!!“

“We curious bout this place that been all over socials lately. We ordered the oyster, fries, and lobster roll.
Honestly it was good, but the portion sooo small 😭 the oysters tiny too. A lil too pricey for what you get. The fries ate tho. Great spot for snacks and hang out with friends, but probably more of a once in a while kinda place for us“

“We've been eating here for the last 30 years. We've known three different sets of owners and they're all great and the food has always been great.
It's not on the list but chicken is what we like.

Kid-friendliness: The grandson is always there playing computer games also. Sometimes he helps Grandma with the front desk and customer service.“

“Four of us enjoyed a wonderful lunch here. It's a very pleasant and tidy atmosphere and our service was attentive. But it is the food that makes it worth the trip. Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Karahi, and Lamb Vindaloo were among the tastiest we have ever had. The daily lunch deal is a bargain. We came from Sherman Oaks and plan to go again very soon. Their darker sauce dishes are more flavorful than other Chinese restaurants nearby. The moo goo gai pan was good. In comparison to other Chinese restaurants here, they have saltier food, but that lends to a good flavor.“

“We got their waited pretty long time to seat us. It look like their essential enough waitressing. They sat us down after 25 mint and did not provide with the menu we had to ask for it. Their was a group of 4 people that ask to eat in a booth waitress told them they were going to clean the table left them standing waitress never came back. 25 mint later they got Frustrated and decided to eat out side. “What an incredible hidden gem! We were craving Italian food and decided to check out Al Italiano. Walked in on a Tuesday night a little before closing. Eddie and the owner Robert greeted us warmly. The menu has some great options and we were indecisive what to order. Our waiter Eddie is a first class professional and answered all our questions with patience and in details. His recommendations were amazing. We ordered Eggplant Parmesan, Veal Piccata, Children’s cheese pizza, Salumiere pizza and their homemade Tiramisu. Everything was excellent and so tasty. The whole experience at Al Italiano was outstanding and unforgettable. Robert is a great business owner who actually cares and treats you like family. His whole staff is very respectful and helpful. This restaurant has the layout, and feel of Japanese restaurants from days gone by. However, at the same time, it's very modern and stylish.

I entered with my Mom, and we were immediately greeted and seated. Our server was very friendly and had a great personality. It turns out he was very knowledgeable as well. I ordered the Salmon Shioyaki Entree, and Mom ordered the Miso Marinated Black Cod Entree. The Entrees come with Soup & Salad. The salad was subtly flavorful. With the greens, vegetables, crunchy topping, and dressing combining to create a delicious starting salad. The Miso Soup was very flavorful, and well balanced. They were both wonderful ways to start a meal. My Salmon Shioyaki was incredible. The Shio (Salt), enhances the natural flavor of the Salmon, and helps in browning, and creating crispy tasty salmon skin. The flesh was firm, yet tender and flaky. Just a squeeze of lemon, and it was perfection exemplified. The accompaniments, and rice, along with the delicious mixed Vegetables made it a complete meal. I had a taste of the Miso Black Cod. The glazed Miso flavor was undeniable, as the Black Cod melted in my mouth, ending in deliciousness.

A Japanese meal embodies that the sum of all parts, equals the whole. The Entrees here are examples of that philosophy.

The prices here are well worth it, considering what you get. The whole staff here is very friendly. Our server helped make our dining experience fantastic. We hope to see him again. We will be back,“

“Needed to edit my online order but couldn’t after placing it, so called the restaurant and luckily was able to get some quick, easy assistance from David! He was able to substitute the item for me without issue. When I arrived, he confirmed my whole order for me and visually showed me that everything was there. Portions and quality were great. My favorite was the Mongolian beef. Would definitely come back, especially for a good lunch special!“

“Great local find. I ordered from the vegan menu, which was quite extensive. The tom yum soup and drunken noodles with tofu were well spiced with decent portion sizes.
The decor is a bit of an eclectic collection, which I found charming.
The service was great considering there is one older lady in front and (unseen) one person in the kitchen. They even gave a free little vegan ice cream with my check.

“We've been to this A&W before several years ago (there are actually three locations in the SF valley) and decided to try it again for Chinese New Year. It was after 2pm when we arrived and they were still serving dim sum from carts though it was slim pickings at that late hour, so we also ordered from the menu. The menu is heavily seafood oriented, but there are many traditional Chinese items available. We got a fried rice dish, a garlic chicken, and string beans (my partner doesn't eat seafood). All the dishes including the few dim sum items were flavorful, maybe a bit on the oily and salty side, but decent. The dim sum looked like it was made on site. I, being raised on Chinese food, would say that the dishes were close to authentic. Portions were generous. This is an old school Chinese restaurant with older aunties serving you with friendly but bare minimum service. Don't be surprised by slightly sticky table coverings and missing condiments (we just grabbed soy sauce from the next table). If you want better food, go to the San Gabriel Valley, but that's a long drive for us. If you want better service or environment, go to PF Chang's but you won't get the authentic dim sum and seafood. A&W is a great option if you're seeking good Chinese food in the Valley.“
