Full bar; but don't come with high expectations. Remember, the more you drink, the better everything tastes. Hubs and I had the whole fish, butterflied. Seasoned well, large cut vegetables (potatoes, bell peppers, and onions), and it comes with tortilla. Pretty tasty until you get to the skin. Skin was almost raw to the point where it was slimy. Eeeeekk. I lost my appetite. The filet, however, was fully cooked. It was enjoyable, while it lasted. My favorite part of this place was the ambience, my Hubster. People here are non judgmental, and just there to have a good time. Having said that, we made our time there memorable. Ate, drank, and laughed. We even danced. Parking is the only downside. The lot for that building is super expensive so we usually spend a couple extra minutes finding street parking. But it’s worth it for really well-priced, fresh, well-seasoned lobster and crab meat- and really friendly service!“

I was more than pleasantly surprised to find this gem in my neck of the woods, and am happy to report that Mardi Gras Tuesday will be my go-to Cajun/Creole joint for the foreseeable future. Mind you, I'm no expert on the cuisine, but I've been a fan for a long time and can happily endorse the Étouffée (crawfish), the Jambalaya, the Mac and Cheese, hushpuppies, and the friendly service at Mardi Gras Tuesday. *Though the cornbread didn't necessarily wow me, all and all, it was a great meal for the portions, price and quality. And considering they got slammed as soon as we walked in (around the start of the Super Bowl), the service was quick and we were in and out of there with bellies full of comfort food within an hour. Can't wait to go back!“

Parking is limited, but we found some nearby at a strip center. 4/5 - Complimentary Tostadas: Served with pico de gallo, salsa and bean dip. Really good. 4/5 - Horchata 4/5 - Eggs, Beans & Carne Asada: My husband requested this (since it's not on the menu) and they made it for him. He was very happy. 2/5 - Beef Machaca: The beans and rice and tostada were really good. I didn't love the machaca though. The food came out to 3.5 stars. Service was friendly and attentive, so I will bump it up to 4 stars. I think this is probably a good lunch / dinner location.“

“I've been here twice now and I must say I am very pleased. The first time I got one of their pastas I got the rigatoni and spicy vodka sauce and it was a creamy delight but just the right amount. I went again for my moms birthday Friday night and ordered the Parmesan crusted halibut and it was perfectly cooked, moist, well seasoned, and cleverly balanced with the amount of parmesan on the crust of the fish. Their wine list is wonderful too providing excellent reds/whites/roses from highly rated regions so the pairings with the food helps balance out the flavors nicely. Very happy with both experiences and would highly recommend this place!“

I gave three stars on service because I grabbed a table in the lounge and waited maybe 9-10 mins ppl walking around it wasnt busy and nobody came to my table, went back to the front to make a change and the host (1 of 4ppl) could have done better at grabbing me a seat in the very empty dinning room instead of going through it to the point that I almost bailed. They said no problem and that it would be ready in 15 mins. So my husband and I hopped literally across the street to go pick it up as soon as we had orders it. We got to sit and chat for a few since we got there early and before we knew it we had our food and were walking right back across the street to eat in the comfort of our homes. The food was delicious as we already know it to be. Our favorites we ordered were the: 7 Mares dinner (7 Seafood) (YUM!!!) “The new location of the Woodlands Hills restaurant is an upgrade in all respects. It also seemed quite busy for a Tuesday evening and louder than our last visit at the old location. As usual, the service provided by Josh and his support staff was constantly attentive and very friendly. The food was great tasting as always but I do have one complaint. I had the 16 oz. rib-eye, a favorite, perfectly medium-rare and well-seasoned. Unfortunately, I should have asked for a sharper knife: it was pretty rubbery and had more connective tissue throughout than I've had in restaurant-quality meat. Should I have said something? Maybe but we were enjoying dinner with friends, I didn't want to sit with no food and I thought it would improve as I went. It didn't. I kept pulling pieces off (literally, couldn't quite get the serrated knive to cut through some places) until the white strings were left behind for the next bite. At least being overly chewy meant I enjoyed the flavor longer. Hopefully, this was an anomaly as my first, less than great experience at Ruth's Chris.“

It's still a very nice place to sit and take a break from strolling through the mall, but it's now best to stick to a few of their most popular dishes while steering clear of the rest. For many dishes, prices have gone up quite a lot while not preserving the quality of the dishes. The serrano pepper beef and crispy roast duck are still quite good and worth a visit. Other items that used to be amazing are no longer so, like the fried rice, which now amounts to very little other than small amounts of egg and cabbage in a large serving of oily rice.“
