“This place is pretty good for quick food similar to L&L BBQ. The food came out quick, was fresh and the people working were nice and friendly. There is limited seating and parking. We ordered the Bento. 1 Teriyaki chicken and 1 katsu chicken. Both came with macaroni, 2 fried dumplings rice and some salad. Overall, this place is yummy for the price! Will come back again!“

“VIM'S is THE BEST Thai food that I've had in Los Angeles. I've been going to their various locations since 1987! I've even celebrated my birthday parties there. The food is cooked to order (spicy to mild) and served family style. I have taken hundreds of friends and co-workers to Vim's for lunch or dinner and it's always a hit! It's still cash only after all these years. The taste and quality of the food has remained consistent over the decades.“

I ordered the beef pho, which was served with a variety of fresh sides and garnishes that allowed me to personalize the flavors to my liking. I truly enjoyed exploring the different tastes and creating a combination that suited me, it made the experience feel both unique and memorable.

“I have lived in this area for a very long And I have ordered food from Bayshore from the original owner. I was a bit skeptical when I went in today. However, I was greeted with a very warm welcome, and in fact, the chef assured me that I would enjoy the food! And he was right I ordered the snapper plate and it was beyond delicious. It was fried too perfection not greasy and you could tell the fish was fresh. I ordered the green salad, and I was very impressed that it was made with spinach and arugula and croutons were added. This food is amazing if you remember the old Bayshore like I do come back again it is definitely worth the visit.“

But you really can’t go wrong with ordering here. Everything will be delicious. They’re fast, quality of seafood is excellent, and they’re not greedy with tostadas or crackers for to go orders. Also not greedy with the amount of shrimp your cocktail will have unlike some places that give you three shrimps at best lol. I had tried it before at other locations and remembered it being satisfactory for when I had a poke craving, and after a medium (three protein scoops) bowl I was again satisfied. Notably the salmon and tuna tasted quite fishy in some bites, and pineapple was the only standard fruit option besides mandarin orange slices (which I don’t want to try on poke, personally). But overall, they had most of the standard toppings like edamame, crab, cucumber, ginger, etc, their sauces were tasty, and they served a sizable portion of rice, fish and toppings all. All About Poke will hit the spot if you are nearby and need a nice fresh lunch.“

The shrimp ceviche tostadas were nothing short of spectacular. Each bite was a perfect balance of tender, citrus-marinated shrimp and a kick of heat from the perfectly minced jalapeños and serrano chilis. The spice level was spot-on - present but not overwhelming, allowing the natural sweetness of the shrimp to shine through.
