“Best pizza in the neighborhood!”

“Decided to try this place about a year ago. Now I get an XXL every other week or so. The pizza is a solid Portnoy high 6, maybe low 7. Nonetheless, for proximity, value, and quality, this is the best pizza in the area hands down. I just wish they had a bigger pizza than the XXL.”

“This place is pretty good for quick food similar to L&L BBQ. The food came out quick, was fresh and the people working were nice and friendly. There is limited seating and parking. We ordered the Bento. 1 Teriyaki chicken and 1 katsu chicken. Both came with macaroni, 2 fried dumplings rice and some salad. Overall, this place is yummy for the price! Will come back again!”

“This was our second visit--the first roughly a year before. If I lived nearby I would eat there as much as I could. The food is terrific and the price is more than fair for the repast. Every course from appetizer to desert was excellent. If you find yourself in La Veta you shouldn't skip it.”

“These are the best donuts I’ve found so far. They’re consistently soft, and the filled ones have the perfect amount of filling! Delicious treat! They also have some very cute sprinkle donuts that would be a great little surprise to brighten a friend or partner’s day. :)”

“Delicious hot food, refreshing drinks, and fresh papusas. Friendly, fast service. Some entres tend to be very light on salt. A request I have for this place is to please place bilingual signage in front of each food item for easy identification and ordering. Although, they do have a menu on the wall, it's difficult to read for some. Other than that, food is fresh, hot, and delicious!”

“I took my wife here tonight on our way back home because she wanted her cappuccino blast drink. I drive by this Baskin Robbins everyday but never visited this location because it's inside a gas station and there no left then when exiting the plaza.

When we came tonight an hour before they close, they were not busy at all. There was only one lady working tonight. I got a small strawberry smoothie and my wife got her medium cappuccino blast. It took awhile for her to make our drink but we were understanding. Another guest came after us and waited for the lady to finish making our drink.

Our drinks were good and we didn't have a bad experience here.”

“My wife wanted to come here tonight to get her Gorditas with asada and I decided to try their asasa tacos. She called the restaurant to place in the order. The lady who took the call said it would take about ten minutes.

When we arrived to the place, the plaza wasn't busy so there was parking. When we walked inside, the place is kind of small and had people waiting for their food or eating there. They do charge a fee if you pay with a card. The lady handed us our order and also confirm what it was before we left.

My wife enjoyed her Gorditas asada since that's her go to when ordering from here. I didn't really like the asada tacos. The tortillas was not my favorite and the taste of the asada was not my favorite. The red sauce does have a spiciness to it.”

“Food always good. Very very cheap on giving one hot salsa container per taco bought. They said no. If I wanted more salsa I would need to to order more food. When asked if could buy more they said no. For $2.20 each taco bought I don't understand how Taco El Oso would go out of business since people never stop going in to buy food. Cause many more taco places to go I will not buy tacos there again. Been buying tacos for over 45 years. Never again”

“Sale of Salvadoran and Mexican food. I have only eaten cheese pupusas and scrambled pupusas, the one I liked the most was the cheese pupusa, I loved it and the scrambled pupusas are good. The banana empanadas with milk are delicious. There are very good fresh waters. There is variety and many other foods. Clean place and good service. I like it.”

“Found this place purely by chance but so glad we did .. all the traditional Mexican fare is there but we settled on the pozole.. which was sensational .. my suegro tells me it was just as enjoyable for him and he has eaten a lot of pozole !! .. plenty of meat and hominy in the broth and good serve of cilantro onion lettuce (not cabbage) oregano and chilli flakes to garnish with a good handful of chips to snack on .. absolutely no hesitation going back for more .. @gavsgoodgrub on Insta”
