“An institution with the best brisket in town.Small funky lil shack on Sepulveda you'd drive right by if you didn't already know it was there and were specifically looking for it.They have a lovely well appointed dimly lit dining room and the waitresses are nice and make effort to be charming in that comforting way restaurant staff used to be back in the day.But I'm going to assume most, like me, phone and simply pick up their order to take out.Mostly I assume to also like me maintain some sense of self respect.What with all the hungry sounds of your indulgence of the savory tastings feeding deliciously eating licking your fingers smacking your lips and what not... it's just embarrassing, shamelessly undignified... “The food is good especially the boodle feast with the grilled meats and seafood that they offer. Their soups like nilaga and sinigang are also very good! Their kare kare is to die for.”

“Serving up traditional Mexican dishes, La Sirenita has a wide selection of entrees but is known for their seafood. I attended a speaking engagement event here with some co workers and food was served. I tried the chicken fajitas with rice and beans, pretty good. Also available was beer and wine. The staff did a good job of keeping the drinks coming. This was a special event so I plan to visit again sometime during regular business hours”

“I've been going to this location for the past 20 years. It's a nice space for the area and the food is amazing. The owner was kind of rude before but he's gotten a lot better. The service is actually pretty good now, definitely worth the visit!”

“All Salvadorans know that when we order scrambled pupusas they are pork rinds and beans....and I ran out of cheese...and the cashier told me that the kitchen people don't understand what scrambled pupusas are...that everything has to be said... It seemed strange to me...the pupusas were not that bad...another thing, there are no prices on bread and other things...you have to put the price as indicated by the law...”

“I went in 10 mins before they closed looking for Chinese fried dough. They didn't have anymore but the customer service was outstanding. Everyone was so nice fron the front to the back. “I hadn't come to eat here for 3 months, because the last few times I had some discomfort and the food no longer felt delicious. But this day I came for a chicken and leg soup and an order of plantain with beans and it was very tasty. I don't know what they made but the soup was more than exquisite, everything was very tasty. Thank you very much for improving for greater customer satisfaction... the music had a good sound, the atmosphere was pleasant, very familiar. Thank you, keep up the good work, we'll be back soon! The price is worth it for the quality of service and food.”

“My wife got us some buffalo fries and they were out of this world! The fries alone are delicious, and I was a bit skeptical as to what some buffalo tender pieces and ranch on top would do, but that's what took it over the top. She also got me some chicken tenders, which I feel were the Atomic flavor because my mouth is still on fire 10 minutes after eating three of them. Highly recommend this place.”
