“The menu is unique and named creatively, which I found charming. The food was well-made, and made in ample time. The service was amazing and the cashier walked me through the process, being very nice the whole time. The roll I ordered and the tea were delicious, and I'd love to come by again soon.“

I ordered the number 17, combination plate CA roll with teriyaki chicken, I substituted the salad with rice bowl, also had a side of miso soup. All the food was delicious, and fresh. Plenty of parking it’s located in a plaza with also plenty of street parking. I am very pleased with this restaurant. Will definitely come again, it will most likely be my go to place. It is hard to find a sushi restaurant that embodies a relaxing atmosphere with good food. Thank you to the team, I will recommend to all my friends.“

“First thing first, the sushi is really fresh. We got the toro, salmon belly, and the yellowtail belly. Saba is a little fishy. The rice is a bit mushy but good enough.

The cooked food is not as great. The agedashi tofu has too much breading and taste average. Kaiju tar tar is okayyy.

The service however took forever, and they never come to check up on us. Servers reach over to get dishes for other tables. Maybe they are short staffed but they should still handle us probably.“

“I had an excellent lunch at Sushi Yuzu. The restaurant has a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere, and everything I ordered tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared.

I started with the tuna sampler, which was beautifully presented and offered several different cuts and preparations of tuna. Each one had its own distinct flavor and texture, and the quality of the fish really stood out. It was a great way to sample the restaurant’s sushi and a perfect start to lunch.

The highlight, though, was the spicy tuna crispy rice. The rice was crisp and golden on the outside without being overly hard or greasy, while the spicy tuna was fresh, flavorful, and nicely balanced. It had just enough heat without overpowering the fish. I’d even dare to say Sushi Yuzu’s spicy tuna crispy rice was better than Katsuya’s, which is a very high bar.

The food felt refined without being fussy, and the quality made a casual lunch feel special. Sushi Yuzu is definitely worth visiting if you enjoy fresh sushi, especially tuna. I’ll absolutely be returning to try more of the menu.“

“I had an absolutely wonderful time dining here. The food was consistently fresh and beautifully presented.

Every roll I tried was prepared with such care. I particularly loved the vibrant colors of the sushi, especially the beautiful orange slices of lemon resting right on top of the rolls. Everything tasted just as good as it looked.

“Sushi Katsu-ya in Studio City is easily one of our top three favorite sushi restaurants. We come here 1–2 times a week, pretty much every week, and it has become our go-to sushi spot.

We usually keep our order pretty consistent: crispy rice with spicy tuna and a bunch of cut rolls. The cut rolls here are honestly some of the best we’ve had anywhere. Our favorites are the creamy salmon, spicy yellowtail, spicy albacore, and spicy tuna. Every one of them is consistently fresh, flavorful, and well made. From time to time we’ll switch it up with some of the specialty rolls or nigiri, and those have always been great as well.

The quality for what you pay is excellent, especially considering how consistently good everything is. After coming here as often as we do, that consistency is a big reason we keep returning.

But as much as we love the food, the staff is probably the biggest highlight for us. At this point we know pretty much the entire team, and everyone—from management and the hosts to the servers and chefs—is genuinely kind and welcoming. They always come by to say hello, welcome us back, and take great care of us. The service is consistently excellent, and there’s a warmth here that you don’t get at every restaurant.

“it’s my first time at roll roll sushi and I was offered a free miso soup as soon as I walked in I ordered the salmon lover roll and the baked scallop roll and both were delicious. Always finish your meal with at least 1 (maybe 2 or ...) of his blue crab rolls. The crab is carefully hand-pulled, the rice is warm, and the seaweed is crisp. You won't find that combination of quality and easy dining experience anywhere else in the Valley. Please try it!“

“Absolutely fantastic handroll experience on Ventura Blvd. The nori was perfectly crisp, the rice was warm and seasoned just right, and the fish was incredibly fresh — you can tell they care about every detail. The toro and salmon handrolls were standouts. Service was attentive and friendly, with the chefs handing rolls over the counter right as they’re made so you get them at their peak.
