The restaurant feels like home and often plays old Japanese movies on the wall, adding to its charm. The food is excellent and amazing, including very good and fresh fish, delicious Hokkaido rolls, and a variety of other Japanese dishes such as baked black cod. The extensive sake list, knowledgeable servers, and pleasant atmosphere make it a welcoming place for sushi lovers. It is very unpretentious and has awesome lunch specials. Definitely recommend ordering sushi. Despite the relatively high prices, the quality of the food and service at Shintaro Sushi and Japanese Restaurant is worth the visit.
