“My wife and I love sushi. We enjoy Katsuya and Nobu and many other fine establishments. We stopped going to these places (at a risk of sounding old) because of the the noise, the attitude, the kids screaming and have discovered this amazing gem in Encino - walking distance from our home.
Sushi - fresh and A++

It's a quiet place - under control - a relaxed atmosphere - friendly staff and helpful chefs. Most importantly - Incredible sushi and more - a very extensive menu.

“I love all the Katsuya locations I've visited but this one is usually the best. Fish quality is always just a bit better than the other locations. I had a few of my normal dishes today and I'm not sure if it was me or just the fact that they were particularly on point today... what im trying to say is that it was gd delicious.“

“Really good spot when you want sushi and ramen without having to pick one or the other. The menu has a lot of solid options, so it works well if one person wants ramen, someone else wants rolls, and everyone wants to share a few small plates. The place has a cozy feel, and it’s nice for a casual dinner without feeling too loud or rushed. I like that there’s enough variety to come back and try something different each time. Good food, good vibe, and definitely a solid Encino stop on Ventura.“

“We wanted a quick lunch and we it was late in the afternoon and we decided that poke would be good, and this place was delightful.The fish was fresh and tasty. The kale noodles were wonderful and the pineapple smoothie with boba was amazing. If I get out that way again I'll go back“
