“was absolutely delectable that night kung pao chicken sweet and sour chicken Walnut glaze shrimp fried combo rice it was so good we ate everything. but mosquitoes inside a restaurant was intolerable I went out with five at least five bites. “I have loved California Chicken Cafe and eaten here for years, including using their top-notch catering. When I moved away from LA in 2021, this was the place I missed the most. I recently stopped by the Encino location while in town and grabbed my favorite wrap. It was just as incredibly fresh and delicious as ever. The consistency is amazing. My only wish is that they would bring back indoor restaurant seating. I love this place so much. I really wish they would open a location in the Portland, Oregon area!“

“All wraps and burgers can be done in a gluten free wrap if needed. Make sure to ask. I have ciliac so gluten is a big no for me. Honestly, this place surprised me. I came with a group of friends and didnt expect to be able to eat much. Sean, I believe, went above and beyond in helping me out and explaining that they could do whatever is on the menu in a gluten wrap so I had more options. Been years since I've been here but I'll be back for sure. Also, gotta love a place that still believes in good size portions. Always nice to be able to take some home if I want. But check out their menu, they have great flavors in all the categories really. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Water mister on the patio area during the hot days. Would recommend of course.“

“Our dinner last night at IHOP was outstanding. I believe the difference was the service we received from Benjamin. We were greeted with friendliness and a smile as soon as we walked in the door and were seated promptly. Beverage order taken and filled quickly. All options and substitutions we addressed and accepted. The food was delicious, exactly how we wanted it, and served in a timely manner. Benjamin made sure our drinks were always full. He was really on top of everything during our meal making it a very smooth experience. We have gone to this IHOP many times over the years and typically the service is adequate. Unfortunately the previous time we had gone it was terrible. So much so that we addressed it with the manager another day. They offered to comp us a dinner, but that wasn't what we wanted, just better service. We decided to give them one last shot before writing them off. Last night was the complete opposite in the best way. Just service that went above and beyond any expectations. Benjamin really made all the difference and he is the reason will continue to go to this IHOP.“

“This is a place I had long wanted to visit; it is located in a commercial district and has a dedicated parking lot. The dining environment is excellent, featuring bright indoor seating as well as outdoor tables facing the street. The burger patties are huge, though the price is on the high side.“

Vegetarian options: They have a ton of vegetarian options. I mostly eat vegetarian when I'm there. I don't miss the meat. The food is so flavorful and filling.“
